O NOT USE Niagara pools!!!!! DO NOT RISK YOUR EXPERIENCE AND MONEY ON THESE FOLKS My family hired Niagara pools to build an in-ground liner pool for our home. We were told the cost would be around $47,000 that actually cost us $53,000. They started work in the fall promising be completed before the next summer season. Due to what they claimed to be a fall with more rain than usual they could not complete our pool in the fall and that we would be first in line when construction continued in the spring. This DID NOT happen in fact I had to email and call throughout the spring for then to return to work on the pool. It did not get finished until the 2/3 week of July that year. Immediately we had problems with the pool. The lining in two spots continued to come apart from the seam at the top requiring multiple visits for them to fix. The pool light did not work, the heat ran sparingly, a large crease developed in the liner in the shallow end and the handle to the filter snapped off the first summer. All these things were reported to the maintenance department via phone and email. With no response in months of trying to get a hold of them. They finally came and addressed the handle and light. And told us the liner crease at the bottom and top liner pop out was from the pool settling. As seasons continued more and more creases have appeared in the shallow end to the point now that we have approximately 5/7 very large creases running the length of the shallow end. When requesting someone come look at it and it to be addressed and fixed. A very rude gentleman named Ken came to our home looked at the pool for a max ten mins determining that they were not at fault, and they would not be fixing the liner. He then ignored countless emails and requests to discuss this. Finally, after months he called me and told me that at some point the pool water had to be less inside then under, which it never was, and that we had not hired them to close the pool, which was never stated as part of the terms of their work warrantee, they would not guarantee the work and we would have to pay $8000 to a different company to come replace the 4-season old liner. Because they were not going to do it. I work as a manager in the home improvement industry, and this is the worst customer experience and customer focused approach I have ever seen. We as the customer where blamed for a pool with a liner that had a visible seam in the shallow end where 2 different pieces of liner were used and connected. The creases have occurred need that seam as has the continued liner popping from the top groove. Ken is the most egotistical home improvement individual I have ever spoken too. He adamantly blamed us and took no responsibility for anything that had gone wrong in the whole process. I understand clearly now why there have been multiple lawsuits against this company. They are solely focused on making money and have no integrity to standby their work or even come up with a mutual agreement to share the cost of fixing the liner. Disappointed with Customer Service I purchased a Jacuzzi J365 from Niagara in May. While the sales experience and delivery were excellent, I encountered an issue with the cover, which was damaged on the water side during delivery. This damage was not obvious at first but became apparent within 30 days, and I reported it immediately. Despite this, Niagara wants to charge me $250 for a new cover skin. I've spoken to multiple representatives, but the owner has not returned my calls. After spending around $14,000, I feel they do not value customer satisfaction over a minor $250 issue. I chose Niagara and Jacuzzi because my previous Jacuzzi (J340) lasted 20 years. It's disappointing that they do not respect brand loyalty and customer satisfaction. I would recommend Jacuzzi, but from a different dealer. Service is more critical than sales. read more

purchased a Aquabot pool vacuum in June 2019. It has been back for service FOUR times. It is under warranty for two years. It was dropped off AGAIN August 2020 and I have called multiple times for an update on the service during this past summer, I stopped in the store, I left messages for Sid(manager)and Suzann (manager) and have never gotten a return phone call. So, my wife left a message on the voice mail of the owner, Ken the end of Sept and we are STILL waiting for a return call. In August Donna said they were submitting a bill of sale and service records to the manufacturer and she would get back to us. Still haven't heard from her either. Our best friends purchased a pool from them and the didn't give them their pump and their liner was ripped too. The lack of follow through, accountability, and knowledge by all the staff is unacceptable. It doesn't surprise me if the owner can't return a call. If you are a pool owner or maybe looking to purchase a pool. I advise you to stay away from Niagara pools in Voorhees. I was having some issues with algae growth in my pool. I went to this location for "help" and to get my water tested. They sold me $200 worth of chemicals to only make my pool water even worse than what it was. I went back in to see if they could help me some more and the girl working at the desk was totally disrespectful and unprofessional. The WORST experience EVER. Literally EVER. I signed with them after interviewing over 5 different pool companies. Their sales guy, Andy was excellent. He listens and transitions your ideas into a beautiful pool, He has a great deal of patience with changes and additions/subtractions all the way through the process. The problem starts when he passes it off to the 'construction team' - and I say that with more humor than can be actually expressed. There is NO foreman, the owner is the worst human being I have ever met. The only somewhat business minded person, who has some experience with communication was Dave. Other than that the only communication you get is when they want money. Don't trust any deadline they give you, I signed March 3rd, and my first real swim was July 4. Don't trust they won't destroy your entire yard. I had to re-sod my front, side and back, repair and replace 9 different heads of my sprinklers and complete re-route two pipes across the yard. I had to repair and replace my front paver landscaping wall that they took out when doing a K turn into my back yard, and tried to hide. My neighbor had a pool put in - yard looks NOTHING like mine. Now my across the street neighbor had it done, and I wish I could tell you - now you can see what a professional company does. Don't trust them to show up when they say, and do expect them to show up when they shouldn't. They promised us the liner May 15, but kept screwing up the measurements and coming back out, since I thought it made sense to be right, I was understanding at that point. Until the $8000 liner arrived, and the step was 1 FOOT more to the right than it should be - they didn't want to lose the money so they didn't' replace it, they cut away at my step, and didn't realize they had to add to the other side the amount they took away from the first side. That added another unnecessary delay and the cover never fit snug to my step or the tanning ledge below it. The liner itself has fallen off more than a dozen times, we asked them to seal it the entire length of the pool,, they refused saying it was too tedious, and instead came out 5 different times to patch seal it. It still comes down two years after construction. My salt cell broke twice - in the first year. Now, two years later a new pool company opened my pool and the salt cell is AGAIN fractured in two places. Why would this break three times on a brand new pool in 24 months? The liner was discoloring upon install, they had the liner company come out and decided it was normal for that to happen so quickly. It wasn't even me who picked this up, they actually did, but of course, they didn't want to have to put any money out. The spots where the hook for the rope goes, one broke the first summer, literally in HALF, they never fixed it for us, and now opening and closing the pool is a nightmare. Both the railing and the ladder are rusting so badly they could barely get them in the pool today. IT turns out, they rusted b/c the company never installed a zinc anode to alleviate the damage the salt does to the pool, so hopefully only my ladder, and my railing are damaged and no corrosion has started on my heater or any other high ticket items. Here is the kicker. I held back $1500 from the $60,000 my pool ended up costing (quote was near 47,000) b/c I kept having issues with the pool and the warranty was only a YEAR!!!. Well when I wouldn't pay it b/c of all the issues. The owner took me to court. Oh and if you ask them they will give you some BS story how this is all my fault. B/C after I signed with them, I found a bad review on here, and I sent it to them, they told me it was the guy who installed the concrete that caused all the problems with the pool. They can talk their way out of everything. I have since dealt with three wonderful pool companies in our area, I can tell you that anyone you ever work with will be a better experience than this. Look, if you want a pool, they can give you a beauty. But the extras are the problem. I put in a pool and a gazebo with a jacuzzi in it. Despite constant reassurances there would be no problem with the township regarding the gazebo permit, when it came time to install it I learned that it was rated for 100 MPH winds but needed to be rated it 115 MPH. The company had to have an engineer complete some paperwork and hit me for the bill! I was already stuck since the entire setup was based off the jacuzzi and gazebo. Also, the radio recently stopped working on the jacuzzi after about 18 months (6 months past warranty). They are coming to open my pool in two weeks and I wanted to know of they could incorporate fixing the radio, which is likely just a fuse. Instead it's a separate service call with additional travel costs. This means about $300 to replace a lousy fuse. Also, the gazebo they brought was different than the one ordered but I kept it because it was close. Unfortunately, the installers didn't know how to do it right and the windows have never closed properly and get blown open in strong winds. I had to fix it with an eye hook and latch. In short, they can put in a nice pool, but there are a lot of companies that can do that. Nothing special and the extras become problematic. Oh, and they just "opened" it today. read more

We had our in ground pool installed in 2007. Living on a lake the water table is very high. We were given the best case scenario as well as the worst, from a financial perspective. Even though it came out to be the worst, we had anticipated it as it was properly explained to us. They have closed our pool for us for the last 11 years. They are always courteous and professional and timely. I got a quote this year for another company to close our pool, just to test the market, and it was about 25% higher than we have been paying. The liner and pump has lasted beyond expectations, and we plan to use Niagara for the replacement liner this or next year. They do what they say when they say they will do it. We called for service on our hot tub. Minor leak when high jets were running. Tech came out, seemed capable, took it apart and stated a new part was needed...some type of union gasket. Said they had the part in stock and he would be back in a day or two to finish the job. Paid 159.00 for the "service call". Still hadn't heard anything the following week so called to follow up. We were told part had to be ordered. Abrupt, rude people who didn't seem to care what was going on despite it being over two weeks of phone calls. Lots of excuses and run around. We decided to order the part ourselves online and husband did the repair himself. Still no return phone call from Niagra now close to 3 weeks. Another rip off from Niagara Pools. Paid over 300 dollars to open pool and had to redo the entire thing. They were at house for less then 30 minutes. Took off a mesh cover, easy. Then added two gallons of liquid chlorine and a bottle of algae preventative. So they spent 25 on chemicals and I paid 280 for less then 30 minutes of service. DONT USE THEM FOR SERVICE. read more

My husband and I started the process of purchasing a top of the line above ground pool with this company back in March right before covid hit the US. Once the store opened back up in May we were right on top of picking up where we left off in the process. We were assured we would be swimming before July fourth. We went to the showroom and met with the salesman we had been working with "Dave Graham" picked out our pool, liner and pump. Was told he would email us the paperwork by the weekend and not only did he never contact us again but he dodged our calls and emails! We even got him on the phone by calling from a different number and he actually hung up on us once he realized who it was! We left him so many messages only to never receive a call back. We wasted months with this company and now it's too late to hire a new company for this summer since they are all booked up. To top it off our central ac just broke and will be four weeks before it can be fixed which makes this whole situation even more frustrating!! Do not ever use this company! I cant speak more poorly about the service I have received. I purchased a vacuum in May of 2021 ( the dolphin). The vacuum has only worked a total of 8 times. In August of 2021 the connection stopped working. I took the vacuum back to the turnersville location and left it with them. They called me back three weeks later and told me it was fine. At this point it was the end of the summer. When I opened my pool in 2022, I put the vacuum back in the pool and it did not work. Again I took it back and left it with the Turnersville location. This time I went through leaps and bounds just to locate the vacuum after 3 to 4 weeks of hearing nothing. They could not find my vacuum. They told me it was at the home office and then at another location. I was totally fed up. They finally told me it was back at turnersville and ready for pick up. When I got there it wasn't there. There was another client upset about the same thing. He also bought a vacuum that was not working. After another week of hearing nothing I got a call. The guys who called me was MIke. He was super apologetic and offered additional services to come out and personally put the vacuum in my pool to figure out the issue. He also offered me a custosy pool inspection for another issue i called about when i dropped off my vacuum (pool wasnt filtering correctly). I wasnt looking for a freebie. They were my go to pool company and i needed a service. He told me he would call me back to schedule the visit and never did. After I made several calls I finally located my vacuum. They told me to pick it up at their Blackwood location (home office). When I asked about the service I was promised, they told me it wasn't going to happen. I didn't want to argue, so I picked up my vacuum and tried putting it in my pool again. This time no connection! Nothing! Couldn't even get the vacuum to move. I called up there corporate office, left messages, inquired about my warranty and heard nothing back! I actually received a phone call ( 3 months later) about the filter issue I was having to schedule an appointment. I couldn't beleive that service I was receiving! I called them 3 month prior! No one calls you back like they promise. I took the vacuum back for a third time. Again, the same service. They tell me nothing is wrong with the vacuum and that they tested it fully. I put the vacuum back in my pool and the same thing happens. The vacuum won't connect, it won't manually move and it doesn't clean the pool. I called and spoke to Mike. I injuired about my warranty. I tried to be very reasonable and express my frustration. He told me had to check with his boss and would call me back. It's a week later and I have heard nothing. This is the type of service you will get! Don't waste your time! Go somewhere else and buy you pool equipment. read more

I just started using Niagra for pool equipment and chemicals and they are seriously great. I've been there multiple times this week for water sample readings, picking up chemicals, etc and everyone has been wonderful. I am new to owning a pool, the house I purchased was a foreclosure so we have had little information to go off of when dealing with the pool. They have looked at pictures, answered all of our questions with no problems, unlike the original pool company we used for our opening. Niagara installed our pool in 2006. I used them to open and close my pool for about 6 years. Very expensive so we learned to do it ourselves. We have one of those heavy duty covers that are bolted into the concrete, also purchased from them. First thing ~The cover has a 10 year warranty. It was installed 2007. When I called in 2016 to discuss how the heavy duty cover was becoming threadbare. They connected me with a sales person who blamed the manufacturer and gave me a quote on a new one. Look I wasn't trying to get a free one but maybe a discount because it was still within the 10 years. Basically the warranty is worth 0. Second thing ~Opening our pool this summer we realized we had a leak and the liner had pulled away in two areas, about a foot each. They came out and used a hose to pump out the water in between the liner and the pool wall but refused to enter the pool to patch the leak. Once the leaks (there were 2) were found, my husband actually got in to patch them himself. They also refused to tuck the liner back in saying the liner was old and needed to be replaced but suggested we could do it ourselves. We were hoping to get another summer before replacing it (having 2 sons at university) . The bill was approximately $200 for basically just pumping the water out. I gave them a check then went out an hour later to find a rip in the liner where they pumped the water out. I was horrified. I immediately called and complained that its inexcusable for the workers to damage it and not mention it before accepting payment and leaving. Niagara's explanation was that our liner was too old and needed to be replaced and maybe the guys scored the liner when they were pumping the water out. They requested a picture of the damage, which I emailed and their response was, no apology, just "Oh well just get a new one", and we'll give you credit for the $200 towards an new liner. Despite these previously poor experiences we went ahead and ordered a new liner from Niagara. Total about $3000 Gave them a check on June 6. They cashed it June 8 but didn't order it until June 12 despite the salesman, Bobby, promising to order it immediately and it taking about a week to come in and schedule the install soon after. We clearly discussed that it would be complete within a few weeks and complete by the July 4th weekend because we're hosting a cookout on July 2. I started calling Niagara the week of the 19th to request installation date. I was always shuffled to Nicky or Bobby. Left messages for both. I finally got a message back telling me that the liner had been ordered on the 12th. When I called again I was shuffled to Nicky or Bobby. Those 2 never call back. June 26 we get a call saying that someone will be out to pump water out on July 30th and the liner installed on July 3. One day after our scheduled cookout. Again I call and they transfer me to Nicky or Bobby. Strangely I get disconnected during the transfer. I call back. My husband experienced the same treatment of being transferred then disconnected, calling back, leaving a message and no response. We've decided that once this is complete we will never use Niagara again. We have clearly stated our disappointment in there customer service. We will pay them for their work but we will tell anyone who has a pool that they should not use Niagara Pool. Ever. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! The salesmen are just that $ale$men! They will tell you the bare minimum of what you will actually pay. Here's the real deal: The pool DOES come with a starter kit, installation and electric are extra... They tell you all that up front. However, the "material of the sand" is not covered. For a 15x30 pool we needed 51/2 tons which was almost another $200 in addition to what we anticipated to pay upon signing the contract. Excavation is another cost! They tell you up to 61/2 inches of leveling IS included. What does that even mean to an average home owner. Well... expect to pay a minimum of $500 and that's just to have the grass/sand removed from your property. Now factor in roots, rocks and anything else that me be lurking under your ground! Add another $500 to a couple $1000 depending on size of pool. All said and done- Expect to pay an additional $2000 (IF NOT MORE) plus the contracted amount Niagra has you sign for. Hope this helps when budgeting your finances. :) One last thing, the deck is NOT work the $2500. It's small, flimsy and defected. YES, defected. The steps were cut to fit the deck. Therefore the top of the steps have half of the words cut off. Niagra says this is a manufacture issue because the steps didn't fit the deck so it was modified. In other words, it is defected. Lastly, the curve of the deck is crooked and once again that's how it comes from the manufacturer. These are things we didn't notice at the time of purchase because of all the excitement of buying a pool. Don't get me all wrong! This is possibly the worse company I have ever dealt with. Once they get your money they treat you like crap. The pool took 4 days longer than promised and the installers were sub contractors. After the sixth day I was left with a giant pile of dirt in my yard and also left to backfill a 8 to 12 inch ditch around the whole pool. I spent almost 8 thousand dollars for a week or more of total aggravation. The installers were late everyday and never even called with a valid excuse. If you are smart you will pay a couple extra dollars and go somewhere else. read more

My story with niagara is this we bought a top of the line sharkline pool after 2 and a half years the wall rusted out and talk about a nightmare when you need help with warranty niagara makes you contact the pool company. They made us take bunch of pictures and then still wanted to charge us 900 for new pool wall. Also to get it put in 3000 dollars total.The warranty when bought says 50 years lol what a joke. Very Poor service experience! I spent $3300 for new cover and pool closing. They removed my diving board and placed against my wood fence for the winter and it warped my fence. The technician that came out to open the pool said it was going to come back and fix it and did not. I asked service manager to call me and never returned call. The absolute worst place to buy a hot tub from!! Please know that I would not be wasting my time writing a review if I didn't feel people need to know. My husband bought a brand new hot tub for me for mother's day and it doesn't work. I called the service dept because when my husband bought it he was told if there's anything wrong they will be out the same day to fix it. Of coarse they can't come out for 4 days and now I have a tub of cold water Just sitting. I have about a dozen moms that were expecting to relax and soak but that's not happening now. Explained this to the salesman and was told that he would call us back which of coarse he didn't. This place is horrible and as soon as they get your money they don't care about any problems or issues you have at all. But let me stress that this is a brand new hot tub that doesn't work!! So now I need to call an emergency service to come out and try to fix the "lemon" that this place sold us because I can't let my guests down. Horrendous service! We had a pool table installed by them over a month ago. It was installed improperly and we have been trying to get them to come out and fix it for a month. Service appointment after service appointment keep getting cancelled. They sent someone out who 'wasn't prepared' to fix the table when we first called, but haven't been able to get anyone out since. Ridiculous how you can do that to a new customer. I would never recommend them to anyone after this experience. I would give them zero stars, but Yelp doesn't allow it. Horrible company, terrible service. I bought a very high end Jacuzzi hot tub from them several years ago and it's been out of service way more than it should. To get them to come out and look at the problem, you have to give them your credit card number even when under warranty. Several times they've come out, said the hot tub was "fixed", billed me $100 or so for travel (again even under warranty), and then the hot tub would have the same problem a week later. When i called them back, they said it's another charge, even if it was for the same problem. I finally hired a different service company, and they diagnosed and fixed the problem easily and affordably - it's been working fine ever since. Stay away! Warning to others who might be considering dealing with this company. True story and I want to just let you know how they treat people. This has nothing to do with a pool or spa but rather doing the right thing for something that was totally their fault. I was travelling down 95 a good 30 feet behind one of their dump trucks when it hit a bump causing approximately 30 to 40 stones to come spilling out of tail gate. My truck was peppered with the marble sized stones and my windshield was cracked after the incident. I took pictures immediately from my phone as more stones came out, and tried to let driver know to no avail do to our speed and traffic. Upon notifying the company , I was told I would get a call back. When that didn't happen I called back, do to only having liability only insurance and I would have to pay out of pocket. I finally got a call back from a Mickey Callaghan whom basically told me to submit to my insurance co and have them submit to their insurance. I explained they won't get involved because they told me I'm not covered for this type of accident or damage. I asked for their insurance company name and policy# so I could contact myself. She didn't have it at her disposal and would call me back with info. That was the last i heard from her and I have left approximately 8 voicemails and spoke with numerous people and it is like pulling teeth to get someone to do the right thing and just fix my windshield that their company truck caused. So it's apparent they are not a honest company to deal with and after reading the other horror stories from people who have serious pool problems that weren't addressed you might want to shop elsewhere. I was always taught to do the right thing especially when your at fault and as a disable veteran i served my country with honor and this company has none. Be forewarned!!! read more
