The grandma they works there is beyond rude. I've had enough. I've been there 3 times and never going back. The first time I was there, she yelled at me for only using the dryer. I explained to her that I didn't know but she didn't care. The second time I went there, she yelled at me because she thought I was only using the dryer but I threw in my blanket to be washed as well. The third and final time I went, I was getting change from my $10 bill into quarters, and she yelled at me that I was getting to lang quarters. Seriously lady? Went to the laundromat for the first time in 15 years. This place was clean. There were a few washers that were out of service. The change machine was working. They have multiple options for washing machine sizes ranging from 2 loads to 6 loads. They have a lot of dryers. There's is an area to find your clothes which seemed clean. I did not see any supervisor or person who worked there. The bathroom was out of order, parking in kind of hard as it's a tiny lot shared with 4 businesses. Over all the wash was good and the drying was decent. The cost for washing ranges from 2:50 to 6 bucks. Drying is expensive at 25 cents for 7 minutes. read more

The lady here is extremely rude. It seems like she doesn't want to be here. I've been here before and haven't really had any problems. She was off talking to the owners of the different business and then came in rudely asking me if I was washing here (I was getting change) and where I responded yes why and she said change is only for customers. I told her I had 7 loads. She sat for a while and then asked me if I was Armenian and I said no I'm not. One of those loads didn't steam my clothes and they came out soaking wet, she tried to tell me that it was the material of my clothing. She did give me money to rewash my load. The dryers here suck. I always break up my loads into 3 different dryers with very small loads so they can dry. Half the dryers here don't work. Immediately after I put the $9 dollars in the screen went to F1 and there surprisingly there's no worker to be seen. The phone number on the website and the emergency phone number didn't work either. If I could give the manager a 0 I would. I went earlier to wash as I was getting myself quarters. She proceeds to come up to me and say quarters are for customers only as I tell her I am one. She says she doesn't see my clothes as I was gonna get them out my car. She tells me to get my clothes then if I am a customer. After that I just left. I understand as to why but maybe don't harass customers so rudely. On top of that my previous experience with her hasn't been great either. She told me to move my car in the customer parking only because she wanted to park right by the door. She told me I was not allowed to park there when there's a clear sign that says customer only. So I walk into this place they're not overpacked but a bit busy. My brother walks in before me with the clothes. (We BOTH have loads to do) I walk in maybe a minute after. The laundry attendant approaches me. At 1st I thought she was about I help me or tell me that the machine was broken, I'm putting my money in the change exchanger for quarters. She asks me am I washing I tell her yes, she asks where are my clothes so I pointed to my brother and says he has them. She then tries to stop me and says to me, to give her the money back, she works here (I'm guessing she didn't believe me. I wait for the rest of my change & she's standing over me. Then she follows me to make sure that I'm with him then she antagonistically asks the the woman who came in right after me "Hi! Do you you need any change?" I took our clothes & we left. She then yells "don't come back!" I didn't even argue with the woman I left. It's 2020 and people are still being this low. This made me extremely upset. The time before I washed here another laundry attendant watched me the ENTIRE time. I did my best to not think the worst but this 2nd time being there did it for me. If you don't have to do laundry there please don't. PLEASE DON'T people with businesses should not treat people this way. I tried to be rational but this lady was unreasonable. I rarely jump on Yelp to give a one star review, but I believe this establishment is deemed worthy of one. I am also not a person to draw heavy conclusions from people's actions on first encounters but given that this is the 3rd time I have been made uncomfortable here, I can safely say that I will not be returning to this laundromat solely based on the fact that I believe the woman who works here is either A) prejudice against people who are not like her or B) just rude and has no manners towards customers. I came here about a year ago and the woman gave both me and my husband the nastiest glares when we walked through the door. We wanted to wash but she sternly told us we couldn't and that we had to leave. Even though it was a couple hours before closing and there were still some people washing. We brushed this off even though we felt pretty bad and discriminated against. The second time, we came back and she again asked us what were we doing there and we said we would like to wash. Unenthusiastically she gave us permission to wash and kept staring at us the entire time. My husband went to get change for the machines and she asked him what he needed the change for. He explained and she stared at him the entire time as if he was going to steal something. Again, we left and vowed to never come back. Until today, I had no choice but to go to this establishment as I have gone another time where this woman was not there and it was another woman who is very kind might I add, but in walks the woman from previous times I have been there. My machine was making a noise that she didn't like apparently and she opened MY wash, touched MY clothes with her hands and said "you put too much in this washing machine" granted, prior to starting this wash, I noticed that the floor by the machine was cracked which leads me to believe that it's just positioned poorly and needs to be moved so it doesn't make too much noise during the spin cycle. I was pretty taken a back since she did this without asking me and she just kept staring at me. I didn't see this behavior towards anyone else while I was there and it made me feel super uncomfortable. I don't think I put a lot of clothes in that wash and I would be the first to admit that. There is clearly a pattern in her behavior, as I am not the only person who has experienced this type of service. Honestly I've been meaning to write this review for the last couple months and I always back out because I'm thinking it will get better. But it doesn't. This laundromat definitely holds its name, Nice N Clean. But this place needs some working coin machines! It's beyond frustrating coming and finding out the coin machines don't work. And then if you're lucky the rude older lady will be there and make it impossible to want to ask her for the coins. This is a business and should properly be ran like one. Aka Maintenance on your machines and replace what's broken. These machines make you have to try the same dollar like 5times before it accepts it. Or they have the yellow lights on so you can really only use one. What I find even more funny is the number they have posted up to call is also unprofessional. It's like calling a home phone to someone who isn't even at the location and telling you the machines work. As if I'm dumb and wasn't trying before. FIX YOUR MACHINES! Dangerous Place to do laundry; Please stay clear of the alley. Just a week ago a man tried to enter my car being very forceful and I was extremely scared. I was able to lock my door before the man could get in; he seemed to try even harder to get a moment alone with me to keep being forceful. I had to hurry and didn't even finish my laundry because I was afraid of being alone with the man. I just read through the other reviews for this laundromat and nearly all of them mention how rude and disrespectful the older lady who works here is. She ought to be ashamed of herself. The people who run this place have no respect for their business or for their customers. Stay away. I came in at 8:50pm. The sign said last wash at 9:30pm and open until 10pm. When I started my load, the lady working walked up and complained that she wanted to close early. No hello. No "welcome to our business." Just a rude, unjustified complaint. If you have clear, stated hours, you have no right to complain when a customer walks in over an hour before closing. How can you run a business like this when respect means so little to you? Let me start by saying that it takes a lot for me to start complaining about customer service. I cut a lot of slack because I know what it is like to deal with the worst people. We need to boycott this business! There needs to be a negative star option because this place is just horrible. They need to change their sign to "open from blah blah to whenever we want to go home. Last wash is at whenever we say" I am glad and saddened that it was not only my boyfriend and I that were victimized by the rude attendant. Ever since the laundry machine stopped working at my boyfriend's apartment, we had to take it to the laundromat. At first he just had to deal with her because he simply did not have the time to take it someplace else and because it is clean. I did not believe that a lady could be so mean so I went with him to see for myself. The first time I went in, before we could even do anything she comes straight over and says that we cannot leave the laundromat (mind u, it is around 6, they close at 11 supposedly and it's dead). He lives literally down the street and we did not want to wait there. I would understand if she gave me a reason, like that other people are waiting for the machine so you can't just leave it because it is not fair. This is a legitimate reason, but all she said was you cannot leave. There was probably 8 people in there. We even set a timer to return right back. She sounded like a broken record repeating the same thing so there was no point to argue, especially when her English was broken. Every other time we entered our foot in the door, she had something to say to us. The last time we went really set me off. We put our laundry in the washer and went to the market. Luckily, we were able to escape the mean lady without her saying something. When we came back to switch the clothes to the dryer, she comes up to us and said that we cannot dry our clothes. It is before 9, and the sign clearly says that the last wash is at 10. We weren't even washing, just drying! She tells us that we shouldn't have left and that she cannot wait here for us to finish. I'm so confused at this point. I tell her we are just drying and the sign says the last wash is at 10. She tells me that she can close the store whenever she wants if it is not busy. I was appalled. There were about 6 other people in there staring and looking quite scared to be honest. In my opinion, you should not be scared or bullied when doing your laundry! I'm not one to argue so when I do, I must be quite fired up. I started yelling at her that she cannot do that but soon realized that there is no point to argue with a crazy person that does not even understand what I am saying. We took our damp clothes out of there and will never return. I really wish I videotaped this last visit. I did not think it would help to talk to the manager or owner because I am sure that she is a relative of them. I really hope this place gets shut down or goes under new management, and by the looks of it, I'm not the only one who feels this way. Before I started to write my review, I decided to read what others had to say and if anyone else had an experience with "that lady"... Lol apparently, "that lady" is the reason why this place only has 1 star. I had one (ONE) load of laundry to do- a mattress cover and blanket that obviously wouldn't fit into the machines I have at home. From the very moment I got there "that lady" stared me up and down and told me that they were closing and I came too late. I told her the sign on the door said "last wash at 9:30" and the place closes at 10:30. This was just before 9:00pm. She rolled her eyes and let me proceed. When I chose the machine I wanted, she (in broken English) told me not to use that machine, and directed me to another one. Trying to avoid conflict, I just walked over to use the one she insisted on. I'm not kidding you, the ENTIRE time my wash was going, she was staring me and my boyfriend down as we were talking quietly amongst each other and was making circles around the area we were sitting. When it came time to dry, I started to open a dryer when all of a sudden she pushed it shut and said, "No, THAT one. Use THAT one!" Pointing to another dryer which was smaller than the big one I needed. At that moment, my boyfriend got fed up, picked up my blanket and mattress cover, walked right passed her and threw the stuff into the dryer I chose. When I started inserting quarters, she turns to him and asks "Why is she putting so many quarters??? How long does she plan on drying???"... Mind you, I had 50 minutes left before closing. He told her to just please be patient, and promised we would be done before closing time. At 10:10pm, she told my boyfriend that she needed to turn on the security alarms by 10:25 because the police station instructed her to do so. SERIOUSLY???? Thankfully, we were done by this time. After folding the blanket and cover, we proceeded to the door where she was already standing, waiting. My boyfriend said "okay, you can call the police station now and tell them you're setting the alarms even earlier." She looked back at him and very seriously replied, "I still have to clean the floors." I absolutely died laughing. This was the most uncomfortable experience I've ever had doing laundry. The change machine ate my money. I put in a $20 bill and nothing came out. I complained to the employee who just waved his hands in the air, like "what am I supposed to do?" I told him to call the owner since he was cluelss. He said he doesn't know how to call him. So then I said, "You don't know his phone number??" To which he said, "Ok, I'll call him." The employee called the owner and said that the owner will be here later. He said that the owner said he has to come to the laundromat himself and review the video tape from the security cameras to see if I'm telling the truth. Now I know that this is just a ploy to make customers stop badgering the employee and to just wait for the owner who never comes to "review the tapes". I kept asking him when would he be here because he seemed like he was lying to me. I finished doing my laundry but no owner ever came. I even gave my phone number to have the owner call me "when he was free". Did I ever get a phone call? Nope. I stopped by the next day and the same employee practically ducked when he saw me. It's obvious that they just ignore complaints purposely. When I confronted him about it, he just shrugged and said "I don't know." I am disgusted with the way they run this business: Greed and Lies. An extremely rude woman works here who scolded me the very first moment I started using a machine. She told me to add the clothes first, when it clearly states on the machine to add detergent first. Who asked her anyways? She literally yelled at me from across the laundromat while sitting in a chair. Then when I accidentally put too many quarters in the dryer, she came over to me and began lecturing me again, muttering angry phrases under her breath. Then as I put my final load into the dryer at 8:30pm, she again scolded me about how I had put my clothes in for too long because they would be closing at 9. And yet the sign on the front door clearly states that they are open until 10:30pm. I told the woman to just stop talking to me because she was being outrageously rude. I got the phone number via google and asked to speak to the manager and the manager basically defended her. This manger named 'peter' wouldn't give his last name either. What's up with that? Obviously he knows he is being rude as well because he doesn't have the decency to give his name. I'm going to write a complaint to the owner and they won't give me the owners name either! I guess it's to make it harder for us to complain to the owner. That's okay I'm sure that businesses have to file with the city and I can find out on my own who owns this place.
