It's hard to find a decent nail salon in Visalia, I've been here about twice and had a great experience and thought the search for a decent salon will be no longer. man I was wrong. I usually get my mani and pedi done same day, the girl with the short hair rushed my entire pedicure. Did not know paying $28 for a basic meant I got 12 mins only. She just looked around while scrubbing your feet and doesn't seem a bit interested in her work. But hovers around after like she deserves a tip. The big bald guy who works at the end who did my full set didn't seem to understand English which was fine, but as I was telling him that he missed a few spots of paint and he thought I said I wanted the lines thicker ‍ also I insisted to be careful with my cuticles or put his buffer on low but nope cranked that shit up and ended up cutting me 3 freaking times! He was very rough. by that time I was over it and wanted to leave. Thought we were done but he ends up filing my nails and left shaving all over, doesn't even massage my hands no lotion nothing so I just squeezed it for myself bc my hands were so dry at that point smh. My first visit to this salon with Ricky great! The second visit with Tina was not not good at all. I had a pedicure and the manicure. She put the wrong base coat on if any at all on my my toe nails. I got my acrylics done here by Tran and he did a great job! 2 weeks into my nails i was ready to take them off & it was growing out. I knew my natural nails were soft because of how long I've had it. Wanted to see if I can to see if i can soak in acetone and take it off myself (which I've done) but this time it wouldn't even come off... so i had no choice but to get them taken off. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! They didn't look busy maybe had 5 people in when i got in. Took me in right away... that's when everything fell apart! A guy took my nails off and if you can see in the pictures he ripped my nails off. I realized they were thetype of salon that force your acrylics off. Cut the top off with a nail cutter and used another acrylic nail to slide them off! Let me tell you this is the painful way and i definitely felt it... i even kept saying "ouch!" And he was all, "where'd you get your nails done?" Umm, "at your salon?!?" (Guess he was struggling taking them off). After they soaked my nails in water and 2 min later a lady comes and does my mani. She also filed my nail polish so, the sand was everywhere on my arm and PUTS the lotion on top of it. More people called in and she rushed me for my pedi, literally 5 min or less. I paid over $40 and this was the shittiest job ever.. even my nail polish sucked! Never again. WARNING!!!SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! FIND ANOTHER NAIL SHOP!!! NOTHING "NICE" ABOUT THESE NAILS OR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I was in need of a fill and regular polish change. I walked in and was told to choose my nail polish and have a seat at a table. A woman with a tattoo on her forearm came over and began removing my old nail polish. We sat for about 5 minutes no words, no smiles. A short man walked in came over to the table and the two began conversating. He sat down and started texting on his phone. I sat for what seemed about 10 more minutes. He finally began filling my nails. I asked if he could shorten the length. He did, and once he was done he asked that I wash my hands. As soon as I sat down tattoo lady came over and quicky began applying the nail polish. The Little man was standing behind me and asked, "do you like nails?" I realized I hadn't even looked at them. I noticed my left ring finger nail was slanted. I held my finger up to lil man and asked "can u fix this one, its crooked?" He gave me a look as if I was wrong or lying and said "Everyone's fingers are different." I'm still holding up nail trying to show him its not straight. He begins to argue and make excuses saying its my finger or the acrylic. I replied "I got the set put on here, and they were straight when I came in" The guy continues to argue! holding his left and right ring finger up together in front of me still saying "everybody finger different." This is my job, I know!" This went on for some time and at this point were both arguing and frustrated. Lil man grabs my hand holds it straight up in the air and aggressively files my nail down!!! I was in shock!! He then said something like "There!Happy!!" I looked at him sternly and in my calmest voice but loud enough for everyone in the shop to hear (3 other customers listening to the whole argument)said "YOU ARE BEING RUDE!!!" "Do you see how my nail is striaght now!? thats all I was asking for?! AND THIS IS YOUR JOB YOU SHOULD KNOW!!" At this point I'm fuming! Tattoo lady finishes polishing the last few nails. Im so upset I'm trying to keep calm and my hands from shaking. Then as if all of this isn't enough another employee, a more heavy set woman with extremely large nostrils (who I firmly believe to be the shops bouncer due to the way she quickly inserted herself into our situation with aggressive glares) walks in front of me. I could feel her staring at me. I look up and shes staring directly at me mad-dogging me and at the same time attemping to roll her eyes! (her whole head seemed to roll more than her eyes did) I look away, then back up again. Shes still staring!! I'm already irritated, embarrased and pissed so I ask what her damn problem is. She begins yelling I'm not even sure what shes saying. Now her and I are arguing. Bouncer and lil man start rambling on to eachother, Tattoo lady seems to be trying to calm them down. Lil man goes outside the shop bouncer goes back to her customer who she left waiting and I'm drying my nails at the table. While sitting there I'm trying to collect myself and figure out what the hell just took place. I start looking at my nails and notice I have nail polish all over my fingers, Acrylic shreds still attached from when lil man filed them down, tips missing polish, and no clear coat. Horrible customer sevice and shitty nails! I refuse to ignore the situation and be ganged up on and bullied and just sit in silence. I turn around looking for lil man and guess who has her neck cranked my way mugging me while rubbing her clients feet?!? YES! the bouncer! I asked again what her problem is and were arguing again! Lil man walks in and tells me I'm done. I inform him that he's been beyond rude and my nails are NOT done and I wont pay until they are semi-decent. I show him the issues, He cleans up the Acrylic but refuses to fix the nail polish or add clear coat. I asked to use the colored polish to fix them myself and he declined. I made myself clear, treated like trash, nails looked trashed, fix them or I wont pay. Lil man tells me to leave the shop, and at this point its best that I do. As I'm reaching the door the Bouncer turns to me (while rubbing her clients feet) and yells "bye don't come back!" One of my fingers flew up and I assured them all I'd never return!. I have worked customer service all my life. I won't even say "customers always right" because they're are some rude,demanding ridiculous people I've seen and dealt with. But I can say, whether I'm on the giving or recieving end of sevice, I talk to and treat everyone with patience, dignity and respect and I expect the same in return. The way these employees acted was an embarrassment to the company and total disrespectful to the owner, as I'm sure none of this would have happened had managment been present. This was my first time at this nail salon, and let's just say, it will be my last. I traveled to visit family and friends and thought it would be nice to go get my nails done with a friend. We were greeted when we got in, which was nice, but were somewhat rushed to make a decision on what we wanted. I would understand that if it were busy, however there was one client in there. However, that was not a big deal to me. What I did not like was how they laughed and seemingly got upset when I said I wanted gel paint only on my toes. I feel as though as a customer I should feel comfortable about my decision to get something simple, however I felt embarrassed. One person did my toes, which looked really nice. Then, they asked about what I wanted to do for my finger nails. I came into the salon hoping to get my nails painted without killing my budget, so I opted for gel paint only on my nails as well. This decision caused them to erupt in laughter and conversation. I've gone to plenty of other salons where they are happy to do any nail service for customers without even muttering a word! Once again I felt embarrassed, which I feel like a customer should never have to. After about 5 minutes of them deciding who's going to paint my nails, they moved me to a table to get them done. After sitting down, I still had at least one person come up to me a few times asking me why I won't at least get short acrylics. I mentioned to her that acrylics are not appropriate for my job since I work at a vet clinic and so it would be difficult for me to do my job. She walked away and seemed very frustrated. I sat there already feeling embarrassed/pressured while wishing time would just pass. I eventually did end up getting very short acrylics (I figured why not?) and they look pretty decent. My next and last disappointment was paying. I heard my nail tech whisper to the cashier that my gel paint for my toes (yes, gel paint ONLY) was $25. I cannot think of a reason as to why $25 is a justifiable price for that! My total was about $92 (but I got 10% for using cash, whatever that's about), so that essentially means that my VERY short and simple full set acrylics cost almost $70. I don't recommend coming here unless you want to feel embarrassed and somewhat bullied by staff, but at least your nails will look okay! read more

When I went in Nice Nail & Spa 3 this past weekend, I just assumed that all of the technicians would be wearing masks when I went in. I haven't been here during the Pandemic so I didn't know the status. I saw that some of the techs were wearing masks and some weren't. So I was given a chair and I put my feet in the water to soak. The tech approached me without a mask. So I asked him if he was going to put on a mask and he looked at me surprised and said "NOOOO!" I repeated to him "NOOOO?" and he said "NOOOO!" I said I'M OUT! and walked out. Very disappointed that he wouldn't wear a mask. When you have a pedicure done there is no plastic dividers like there are when you get your nails done. I don't think it was too much to ask a tech to wear a mask while getting services especially during a global pandemic. read more

I had a basic pedi for $20 (That doesn't include callus scrub which surprised me! Since when is that extra??!) The lady who gave me a pedi was very nice, and took her time to paint my nails. Her foot rub was too soft for me, it was more like just applying lotion on my feet. Side note: It bugs me to see employees on their phones with their shoes off lounging on the waiting chairs where customers would wait. They should have a break room for that if they don't already. I had a pedicure here last month and it was great. The technician's name was Lou. He took his time, did a great foit/leg massage and the polish looked nice! But today my pedicure was awful. I want to start off by saying: I was the ONLY person there. The technician was Mina (not sure how to spell it) Anyway, she asked what pedicure I wanted and handed me the "menu". I told her I wanted the basic and that I was on a budget. She said 'Are you sure? You dont want callus removed?" I said "No. (I also dont have calluses). As she rushed through my pedicure she kept asking me if I wanted a my nails done. She asked at least 3 times. I said "No thank you" each time. She stabbed me as she trimmed the inner sides of my nails, and stabbed me at least 2 more times. She also chopped the corner of my big toenail off. She briefly massaged my legs and feet - maybe a total of 5 minutes! I am sure my entire pedicure took 15 minutes! My toenails polish looks lumpy and not smooth. I'm VERY disappointed. I wish I were able to leave zero stars. I arrived to the establishment in mind of getting a pedicure to relax a bit since I was super busy with work and school. That is the last thing I received. From the time I got there and by the time I left, the women who serviced me was on her headset talking on the phone. At first I thought she was talking to me, but then dumbfounded I realized she was on the phone talking to her significant other. Pedicure was definitely not relaxing nor in terms to be considered a good, she unfortunately cut my nails to short, without asking if I wanted any length taken off. As lame as it sounds, the length for my toe nails do matter and now they look like stubs. I wish I could say the paint job was decent, but again...she was too focused on her conversation to concentrate and the paint was not neatly placed. The pedicure didn't even last a day, the paint completely came off on a few toes. It really sadden me to have paid $40 plus a tip for a pedicure that I was not satisfied with. read more

My sister and I went in for a gel manicure and they took us in very fast at the same time but my sister also got a lip wax. The lady who did mines was an older lady barely spoke any English maybe 50/60ish. When she had taken out my left hand from the uv lamp after the second coat the gel had hardened and wrinkled and I'm pretty sure it's from putting too thick of a layer of gel. She looked like she didn't know what to do anymore and started to talk to the other staff and 2 of them came over to look then she left me at the chair and said she'll be right back and went to do a wax for my sister who had already finished her manicure from a different person and came out way better than mines. A gentleman came and filed off some of the gel with a drill and had the same lady repaint my nail without a base, this was the end result and I spent a little over an hour in the chair for a simple gel manicure. An old friend happened to be there as well and was getting her boyfriend's daughter's nails done by a gentleman but was switched to get color by one of the ladies sitting on a massage chair towards the back and she was not happy with the color as well. I'm not even sure if the ladies who are doing the nail lacquer and gel polish for customers are certified nail techs, especially when they're busy one person does the acrylics and then they switch them over to a different person for color I've seen multiple times. I've gotten my nails done here and they were decent but they were acrylics and done by the nail techs so if you're getting anything done make sure it's by a certified nail tech and not any of the older ladies sitting around towards the back of the salon. I'm guessing it's a hit or miss depending on which person does your nails but you'd expect them to be nicer than if doing them yourself. The pictures some are flash and some are not flash. read more

Honestly, I wished I just went back to my usual spot. I decided to try this place out since it was near my house. Well I regret it. I decided on the Luxury Mani and Pedi. But it didn't feel luxurious at all. I arrived at 6pm on a Wednesday, and was seated in a broken massage chair until around 6:48p when a gentleman came over and finally started. I should have just left but I love the jet water massage. Anyways, the nail tech started and seemed to be in a rush as expected since they close at 7p. I said if there wasn't enough time, then let's just do a pedicure. He said, it's okay, we have time for the mani and pedicure. Okay. During the luxury pedicure, you should get a 10 min leg massage with hot towel along with other perks. I got the lotion rubbed on, then wiped off with the hot towel. No massage. Okay fine whatever, they close soon and I appreciate him just staying late. So next is the gel manicure. He was in such a rush that he didn't even put enough polish and allow time to dry that you can literally see my nail still. Then he said all done. I told him that my toes are not dried yet. He said it's okay it's dried. So he puts on my sandals and rushes me to pay. I still tipped 18% since he stayed past their closing time. But I think the paint job and the bleeding nails were not worth it. The whole experience was very rushed and not relaxing.
