0 STAR IF I COULD. Very disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. I asked if they had availability for a manicure and was completely ignored. After asking again, the woman with the tattoo on her upper left arm kept saying "pedicure" and seemed annoyed when I corrected her and explained I wanted a manicure. I was then seated with a technician who immediately started cutting my nails. I specifically told him I did not want them cut short and only wanted them evened out. I had spent 1 month growing my natural nails out. When I noticed he was cutting them much short, I told him to stop, but he insisted he knew what he was doing and continued. After washing my hands and coming back, I could clearly see my nails were much shorter and out of shape. When I expressed my concerns, instead of listening, he argued with me and kept saying they weren't short. The woman with the tattoo came over and repeatedly interrupted me. She kept insisting they could add acrylic, powder, or tips to make them longer, but I explained multiple times that I wanted my own natural nails and did not want fake nails. What bothered me most was that neither of them listened to what I was saying. They continuously talked to each other while looking at me, which made me feel very uncomfortable. There was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to understand why I was upset. After about 20-30 minutes, I decided to leave because I no longer felt comfortable. I told them their customer service was rude and unprofessional. I paid $5 for the nail cutting and left. This experience left me feeling disrespected, unheard, and frustrated. I don't usually leave reviews, but this was hands down the best pedicure and builder gel set I've had in a long time! The customer service was top tier--everyone was so attentive to both my husband and me. My husband got a pedicure (I didn't catch his nail tech's name), but she did an amazing job. My pedicure was done by KY (or Kai--sorry if I spelled it wrong!), and he was incredible as well. They really took their time and made sure we were comfortable and cared for. I needed acrylic on my big toes, and it came out flawless. Every toe was shaped perfectly, and the scrub was done with so much care. For my builder gel set on my natural nails, DD did an amazing job. My nails are pretty short right now, but she was patient, honest, and helped guide me on what would look best for my length. She made sure I loved the result and didn't settle--and I truly appreciated that. The shaping and layering were perfect! I will definitely be back, and I 1,000% recommend this place! read more

1 star This was my third time going to Nice Nail Salon, and it will definitely be my last. This facility is also racist and you can feel it. I came in for a pedicure and manicure with an ombré design. During my pedicure, I asked for a butterfly on my big toe. The technician doing my toes didn't know how to do it, so she asked another nail technician for help. Instead of responding professionally, that technician smacked her lips, rolled her eyes, and made an obvious irritated face. Unfortunately, that same technician ended up doing my manicure. She asked me what colors I wanted, and I explained that the previous technician had already put the polishes away, so I didn't know the color numbers. I even said, "I know it won't look exactly like the picture, but can you help me find colors that are close?" Instead of helping, she pulled out colors that didn't match either my inspiration picture or my pedicure. I asked if she could bring the other technician back over so we could find the original colors and make my hands match my feet. She said one of the glitter colors wouldn't work with the ombré, which I completely understood. That wasn't the issue. The issue was that she never offered me a color book or swatches to choose another color. She kept insisting on using the colors she picked. When I explained that an ombré requires additional colors to blend properly, she became visibly frustrated. She crossed her arms, made irritated facial expressions, and acted like I was inconveniencing her for wanting the design I came in asking for. Another employee walked over and asked her what was wrong in their language, and she began talking about the colors while still looking upset. When I looked up, she was still standing there with her arms crossed. At that point, I felt so uncomfortable that I called my boyfriend to come pick me up because I no longer wanted her doing my nails. The gentleman at the front noticed something was wrong, asked me what happened, and offered to finish my nails himself. While I appreciated the offer, the experience had already been ruined. I left before my nails were completed. To make matters worse, I was still charged $90 for an incomplete service. I've never written a review like this before, but people deserve to know how customers are treated here. Everyone can have a bad day, but rolling your eyes, smacking your lips, crossing your arms, and making a customer feel like they're a burden is completely unprofessional. I gave this salon three chances because my previous visits were good, but after this experience, I will never be back. I can't recommend spending your money somewhere that treats customers this way. read more

I have been a client of Cat for about two years, which makes this review especially disappointing to write. On April 29, I made an appointment for June 12. A few days before the appointment, she reached out asking to reschedule because her boyfriend had made last-minute plans involving Pokémon. While I was inconvenienced, I was understanding and responded the same day agreeing to reschedule. When the rescheduled Friday arrived, I sent her an inspiration photo for my appointment later that day. To my surprise, she replied that she did not have an appointment with me at all. This was not the first time scheduling issues had occurred. Earlier this year, she canceled an appointment because she had the flu, which I completely understood. However, instead of fitting me back into her schedule, I had to wait for the next available opening, which was over a month away. After the second scheduling issue, I politely explained that I wasn't trying to be rude, but that this situation was unfair. I had been patient and accommodating, but I really needed her to follow through on the appointment. She remained unresponsive for hours, even after the scheduled appointment time had passed. An hour and a half later, I sent a message expressing how disappointed I was with how the situation was being handled and that I felt it was unprofessional to waste a client's time. Her response was shocking. She told me she did not need to be professional and that her clients did not expect professionalism from her. Her messages came across as sarcastic and dismissive, and rather than taking accountability for the scheduling errors, she decided we were no longer a good fit because I had called attention to them. What makes this even worse is that this happened right before a wedding, leaving me scrambling to find someone else at the last minute. Her response was essentially that "they're just nails" and that she doesn't take it that seriously. Everyone makes mistakes, and I would have been understanding if there had been accountability and respectful communication. Unfortunately, after multiple cancellations, poor scheduling, lack of responsiveness, and a dismissive attitude toward clients' time, I can no longer recommend her services. If reliability, organization, and professionalism are important to you, I would look elsewhere. She will reschedule you for Pokémon and when she doesn't come thru she will say "life happens" with a lol at the end. read more

not really happy with this nail salon. They are decent but every time I get my nails done from them the charms end up falling off within a day or two and then you have to go back in and get them redone and then they just fall off again. If you want excessive charms or charms at all, please don't go here because you're just gonna waste money. They also overcharge you and make you pay $90 for nails that are NOT $90 worth that fall off within a week or less. PS( never go to the guy he is terrible and i think he has a fake license because he is terrible) people here are nice, but they really overcharge you though they can do pretty much anything, but they don't look good .probably would not go here again unless I'm desperate for a salon (ps to the worker- i can leave any review i want! i wasn't satisfied so i'll let anyone know thank u !) read more

Every time I'm told she's not working today. I call today and ask if she's available, they say yes and ask me what time and I said whatever works for her then I'm told she's fully booked today? You literally just asked me what time and then say she's not available all day. It's only 11am that's not possible to be fully booked already. I then ask if Donnie has availability and I'm told yes what time. I once again say whatever time works for him and I'm told he will call me back and then hung up on me. He never called obviously. Unfortunately they've lost a lifetime customer and I've brought MANY friends to their business that they will also lose. When you call 99% of the time it will be Donny and he will always have an answer to your question. Gotten my NAILS done here a few times and loved the outcome everytime, but their pedicures? They're alright, but this is the 2nd gel pedicure I've gotten from here where not even 5 days in the polish is peeling from my toenails, wasn't sure if it was just me, so I brought my mom with me while she was visiting from out of town. I haven't seen her for a while, and it completely slipped my mind any time I talked to her, but she also said the same thing, after 3 days she had to go get the polish removed because 4 of her nails had peeled, $140 for 2 pedicures and they didn't even last 1 week!
