I am REALLLLLY picky when it comes to Chiropractic doctors, I've worked in many chiropractic offices as medical administrator so I am even more picky than the average patient. With that background in mind, Doctor Nicholas Kambourakis provides a service for the mind, body, and soul. Doctor Kambourakis goes over and beyond with his care & services. Doctor K Works with you, whether you're on a budget. If you have no health insurance, he will work with you. My recommendation is book a visit, and see for yourself. Here's the website: https://www.nkchiro.com

Functional medicine is the only way to go! I met Dr Kambourakis when I was at the end of my pregnancy with my first born in 2010. He adjusted all my 3 babies a day or two after birth, and I really saw how incredibly important that was, and how sad it is that it's not a standard practice for EVERYONE. But that is not what this review is about. Around 4 years ago I went to a dermatologist for a weird skin growth/rash on my elbow. It didn't bother me, no itching or irritation, but it was new and I noticed it and wanted to take care of it. Dr said it was "dermatitis" and gave me a cream. I follow directions so I put the cream on thinking I was treating the problem with a solution. But later I found out it was steroids, and the dr didn't really know why or what my skin was doing. The rash did clear up but it took a long time. About a 3 years later the rash came back. And I thought, okay I need to put the cream on. And I forgot about it. Around this time, my daughter had some tiny bumps and white spots around her knee that I noticed in a cold weathered month. Nothing bothersome at all. Then in the summer the white spots started getting more prominent and the skin looked like there was a problem/rash. I took her to the pediatrician. She said "we don't know what this is but steroids and sunscreen will clear it up". But by now, because it's my child I figured out that steroids aren't the first go to. So I held off on them. During a routine adjustment for myself, my daughter was with me and I asked Dr K about her rash on her leg. He said right away, that it looked like it could be an indication of either an auto immune response or something going on in her gut. He told us we should do a stool test. So we did and it came back positive for a parasite, high in H pylori, high in candida and really high inflammation. So Dr K recommended some functional medicine (change her diet--stop sugar, gluten and focus on protein and vegetables. And he told her to take Mastica and probiotics). It wasn't easy, but without putting anything on her skin, the rash cleared up!! And now I know we actually addressed the problem. Who knows how the problem could have expressed itself later down the line if she just put the steroids on her skin. And, I also did a stool test for myself and found plenty of problems to treat, followed Dr K's recommendations and my elbow rash cleared up too!!

Whether it's back pain, neck pain, or the kind of stress that settles in your body over time, Dr. Bond knows how to meet it with care. His chiropractic work is grounded, intuitive, and effective. He doesn't force healing, he invites it. With every adjustment, it feels like stuck energy gets released and the body remembers its way home. He accepts you where you are, without pressure. There's something incredibly amazing about the way he works, not just technical skill, but presence. Real presence. As a first-time patient, I personally would have liked a bit more individualized care during my adjustment. The appointment was fairly brief (around 15 minutes) and felt more standardized than tailored to my specific needs. This may work well for many patients, but for me, I tend to respond better to a more customized approach. I also think body type can play a role in chiropractic care. While Dr. Bauman is clearly knowledgeable and professional, those in larger bodies may feel more comfortable with a chiropractor who has greater physical strength or uses different techniques. The office does offer some nice amenities, including a rolling adjustment table, access to massage therapists, and discounted rates on certain days. My insurance doesn't cover chiropractic visits, and the $60 out-of-pocket cost felt reasonable for this area. Overall, this practice may be a good fit for some, but I left wishing my regular chiropractor had availability, as I didn't feel quite as confident that my migraine symptoms were fully resolved. I appreciate the professionalism of the staff and would recommend others decide based on their personal preferences and needs. Also, parking is pretty easy. I am posting this to document a serious concern regarding Pro Health Physical Medicine's BioTE…read morepellet insertion practices. Both my father and I previously received BioTE pellets from another provider with consistently positive results and without these types of problems. We sought treatment at this office only because our previous provider became unavailable and this office was listed publicly as a BioTE provider. Before treatment, I specifically asked twice whether the office was in fact using genuine BioTE brand pellets, and I was told yes. However, based on the outcome and the surrounding circumstances, I have serious reason to question whether that representation was accurate. Following pellet insertion at this office, neither my father nor I experienced the same beneficial response we had with prior BioTE treatment. Instead, both of us experienced significant adverse effects, including reactions we had never experienced before with our previous BioTE provider, including what felt like allergic-type reactions. In addition, the follow-up process raised further concerns. Garrett Glapa stated that he would personally handle the necessary lab work and specifically represented that my father's testosterone and estrogen levels would be tested. When the results were returned, those expected hormone tests were missing. Instead, unrelated or less relevant tests appeared, which did not seem to reflect proper monitoring of pellet response. Another concern was the lack of transparency during the procedure itself. Our prior BioTE provider would show us the BioTE pellet bottle before insertion. That did not occur at this office. Taken together, the unexpected adverse reactions, the missing expected hormone labs, and the lack of product transparency have left me with serious concerns regarding what was actually provided and whether this office is accurately representing its BioTE services. I have already reported these concerns to BioTE directly. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this office to anyone seeking BioTE treatment. I strongly urge prospective patients to verify exactly what product is being inserted and to obtain clear written confirmation of all follow-up lab testing in advance.
