I showed her pictures of styles I thought I would like. One was of a picture of my own hair after leaving a hairstylist in California and every time she gave me something much different. I showed up for a scheduled appt, drove 30 min to get there on time and she scheduled someone else in that slot the day before and made excuses that had nothing to do with me, no apology ~ i had to reschedule. When highlighting your hair she's rough, when drying your hair she's rough, I tried drying my own hair, leaving wet... I winced and asked her to please go easier, she blamed it on me having a sensitive head or hormones, no apology. I have never had a problem with other hairdressers highlighting or drying my hair. Every time you give feedback about your hair you have to listen to her go on & on about a bunch of who knows what but it has nothing to do with you leaving as a satisfied client and having a good outcome for your hair. In hindsight i should've moved on much earlier and if Prescott was Phoenix area or Los Angeles, I would've I absolutely would've.

Apparently,l she was just squeezing me in between her other, customer (a hair color procedure}although, my appointment was made several months ago. The time she spent with me was 15 minutes. She did not ask me how much I wanted trimmed etc. I had to stop her and tell her how much I wanted trimmed. She was clearly rushing me through the service. I was very clear on how I wanted my hair cut; I have shoulder length hair and wanted a precision cut, slightly longer just in front of the ear. What I got was about the worst hair cut I have ever had. Some areas were, one inch longer on the top layer. I called and she had me come back only to trim a very small area on the left side of my head. On her business card Ms. Shpiro calls herself a, " Master Designer." I question, how she got that designation. When I attempted to explain what I wanted done to my hair, she turned her back on me and said, " she had been cutting hair for 50 years, and knew how to do it. She also told me, "I guarantee my work." I was not about to have her wack on my hair a third time therefore, I found another hairdresser that took her time and did exactly what I asked her to do. Ms Shapiro, refused to give me a refund. So much for her guarantee. In less than a weeks time, I paid her $45.00 and my new stylist $60.00 total $105.00. I do not recommend Ms. Shapiro to anyone.
