I had a great Experience at Sun and Snow Ann Arbor as usual!…read more In a season where 90% of skiing/snowboarding equipment is sold out in Michigan --- My 5 year old daughter decided she wanted to snowboard instead of ski a week before our Boyne trip which left me scrambling . I called Sun and Snow and Conner took the time to rummage all through the inventory to see what he could find before I made the 45 minute drive there. He ended up finding a board a little bigger then what I thought I was looking for but he was extreme knowledgeable and assured me the board was a good size for her (after providing her height and weight)He was also able to recommend the best type of binding for a beginner snowboarder (something I knew nothing about) We drove there and spent maybe 30 minutes total in the store!! He had everything set aside for me . We made sure everything fit and he was able to get the bindings on and adjustment made pretty quickly! Connor was friendly , knowledgeable and great talking with my four kids as we waited. Sun and snow saved the day and we had a great ski trip!

Also, the inventory was a bit slim when I visited in January, which the employees mentioned was a time when they are moving and have moved/sold most of their product for the season. The Ski Company usually has a few pairs of higher end demo skis (very gently used factory demonstrators) available and that's what we opted to buy instead for a price well below list. I have also bought quite a few pairs of skis for myself based on thier recommendations, and couldn't be happier. Prices are always fair. This is the only ski shop I will buy from in MI.
