I like it when the gyro comes carved off a roasting spit. There are usually charred bits that are sometimes crunchy. The gyro in this pita and in the side order had zero hint of any charring. It makes me wonder if the meat is pre sliced deli style gyro you see at some lower end fast food places. read more

Decided to stop by here instead of flame broiler and I'm glad I did! Friendly staff member. I did not catch his name but he went through the menu with me and offered me some recommendations! Customer service was A+. Clean inside seatings and there's a few outside seatings. I got the beef medeterrian bowl and added a combo that comes with pita and a drink for $3.75 more. I was concern the beef would be dry but it was moist! Rice was flavorful and salad had a nice dressing on it. Only thing here is...I wish there was an extra scoop of hummus! I haven't been to Nick the Greek in a while. I haven't gone to the San Dimas location until today, I usually go to the Fullerton one. The food is amazing. I love how fresh everything is. We ordered the beef lamb gyro plate and the beef lamb gyro wrap. Our cashier was super nice and informative and told me about the new Mediterranean bowl they have on the menu. We were a family of six and had a mixed combo of bowls and pita wraps we all tried each other's food and all agreed that each one tasted amazing. Wow this place was delicious!! We ordered delivery here last night and now we are hooked!! My daughter and I got the chicken gyro pita and shared the chocolate donuts which were topped with nuts and honey similar to how baklava would be. Nice touch!!
