    Branzino with Chili Sauce
    Curt H.

I had the special branzino with chili sauce Sides were special rice and slaw - great texture and special flavor enhancement to the fish ...fresh fish Highlight of the meal was the clam chowder - perfect seasoning Easy parking in a shared shopping center lot Service pleasant and polite A dropped one star - need either larger fish portion or a more affordable price

3.5 Stars First visit and had an okay experience. We went to celebrate my mom's birthday. The service was efficient, but not overly friendly. The food was a mixed bag. Some items were delicious; others were lacking in flavor or had an "unusual" taste. The dining area is a decent size, it was clean, and there is plenty of parking in the shopping center's lot. FOOD: We ordered a varied selection from the menu. Some items, Breaded Shrimp ($7.95), Smoky Seared Ahi Tuna ($20,95), and Ocean House Halibut ($33.95) were very tasty, but the Ahi Tuna Grilled, served rare ($18.95), Clam Chowder ($9.95), and Seafood Bisque ($10.95) were only okay. I mentioned an unusual taste, not bad, but the flavors of the chowder and the bisque were different than I've had at other seafood restaurants. I tried their Thai Iced Tea ($5.25) which was good. Overall, we felt that this dinner experience could have been better, but I would be willing to pay them a second visit and try some different menu items.

Parking: There's a dedicated parking lot. Hard to find parking at a busy time, but there should always be a space available. I love that this is a family mom and pop shop curated for fresh seafood. There's an assortment ranging from ahi tuna, There will always be at least one group waiting to be seated inside. Additionally there's also sign in waitlist on busy days and times. Fried calamari: I don't prefer their fried version. It came out pretty fast, but I wish the batter coating was more intact, it fell apart on my first bite. Squid was soft and tender inside. Battered fish and chips: Fish was HUMONGOUS. So crispy and crunchy, fish was juicy and piping hot. Chips/fries were okay to me, it was soft on the inside and outside. Kale slaw was good, light on dressing and wasn't heavily drenched.

Came here looking for incredible fish and chips and was not disappointed!!! Their fish and chips were excellent, huge portion (made 2 meals out of it) and very tasty, but the real surprise was the Kale Slaw, you HAVE to stop in and try it! Nice size menu with a lot of good options I'll be back to try. The entire staff was very kind and were on it checking in everyone. The restaurant is not huge but larger inside than it appears from the outside, very nice chill place for lunch or dinner.

This place is absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed the food and can see why it's so popular. We arrived right when they opened at 12:15 p.m. on a Saturday, and there was already a line out the door. Despite the crowd, we were seated within about 25-30 minutes, which wasn't too bad. Just be sure not to arrive too hungry because we don't want yall to be hangry! If you're looking to avoid the wait, I'd recommend visiting on a weekday, especially around 2 pm or 3 pm. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The atmosphere had a welcoming vibe that reminded me of being in Thailand, which added to the overall experience. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. As for the food, their fish and chips are hands down the best I've had. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and every bite was worth it. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality, service, and overall experience make it well worth the splurge. I'll definitely be coming back with my gf!

It was our first visit and we were excited to try the different options available. We showed up 20 minutes after opening, and their tables were almost full. When we left there were people waiting outside, not a line but a few groups. We were seated right away! We tried the coconut shrimp, the purple cabbage salad, Fish n Chips, Salmon Chargrilled plate, Tilapia chargrilled plate and the shrimp cajun taco combo. I would say we were all pleased with each dish. That coconut shrimp appetizer was so crispy and so fresh at the same time, with this orange glaze dipping sauce. The value is good for the portion size for sure. It's nice to go somewhere that offers healthy meals and not have to pay an arm and a leg for it. The fish n chips was HUGE, totally shareable! A favorite of ours was the Kaleslaw salad and the purple cabbage! I'm excited to go back and try other dishes! I have faith that they will all be delicious.

I saw this place pop up on my IG and I could not ignore it. I came for the fish and chips and I was not disappointed! The fish and chips definitely fresh and prepared with care! The portions are generous and you get what you pay for here. If you get full fast like I do, share the fish and chips plate and enjoy some extra sides or starters with a partner. I tried the Thai Tea and Taro Tea-yummy. Other party members had the mahi mahi fish plate, swai fish plate- both plates were licked clean! Lol. Service was friendly and overall clean establishment. I'll be back soon!

Thank goodness we rolled in right when they opened, because by 12:30 -- just as our butts hit the seats -- a line had already formed outside like they were giving away free money. Or free fish. Spoiler: they were not. The fish is fresh. We didn't get fish and chips like every other sensible human being in the building (we really should have). The mahi mahi was fresh but also seemed like it had been thinking about its life choices -- a little dry. The rice on the side? Let's just say "barely warm" is generous. It was flirting with room temperature. The rainbow trout was fine. Just fine. Not fireworks, not tragedy. A solid "okay." The clam chowder, though? Actually good. That chowder was the hero we didn't deserve. Service was okay -- a little slow, but hey, the place was packed. They were trying their best, probably sweating more than the fish did in that rice.

I came in with my family to eat some lunch. I can't say that it was fantastic, but it was OK. I like the casual setting and feeling of the dining room. I really appreciate that. Our server wiped down our table although when we arrived at where we would be sitting, it looked clean already. There's a specials and small menu board at the front of the restaurant right when you enter. Their portions are a good size. One thing that I didn't really care for was that everything was so heavily battered. Fried shrimp and fried fish, they were in there all right but you had to be able to crunch through all the batter to get to the fish or the shrimp. Their prices are more than fair. There is a lot of parking out front. They are part of a strip mall. Is this a place that I would go out of my way for? No. I think it's a good recommendation for those in the area and they can accommodate fairly larger groups. But what I really go out of my way to drive all the way over here for fish, probably not. Especially with their being so many other good seafood places as much closer to where I live.

We were craving for fish and chip and found this place with great reviews, so we decided to stop by. There was a line when I got here during dinner time, but the line was moving pretty quickly. Services were prompt, and our servers were very friendly. They were also very attentive. We ordered lobster bisque, fish and chips, shrimp taco, and fish taco. The lobster bisque was very flavorful with the perfect texture (it was not too thick or too watery)! It has a lot of lobster meat in it. The shrimp and fish inside the taco was very fresh. The fish had a very crispy batter, but not overly thick. The fish was not oily, and fish was flavorful! The chips was crispy! The kale salad that came with the fish and chips was a surprise! The salad dressing was a bit sweet. It was refreshing. I will come back again for sure! This become my favorite fish and ship restaurant in Los Angeles!

If you love fried fish and seafood, this is the place for you! It's located in an unsuspecting shopping center and if it wasn't for the sign, we would have missed it! But once you walk in, you're greeted by welcoming staff members and delicious food! It was our first time there so we had to try the popular fish and chips dish. We also ordered their coconut shrimp and cajun salmon dish. The coconut shrimp was one of the best I've ever had! It came out piping hot and the coconut taste was prominent. I'm not a big fish person but this place converted me! The Cajun salmon was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the garlic rice. It was crispy but not over cooked. The fish and chips were light but flavorful. And the portion size was a plus! Everything we got out was delicious and was large enough to share. Will come back again to try other menu items. As a note, it gets really busy around 12 so either come early or make a reservation!

I can really see myself becoming a regular here. The service is impeccable and the staff is very friendly. I am always happy when I get refills on my drinks without having to ask. Every now and then I get a craving for fish and chips and this place is amazing! The portion is substantial and the quality is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. I will be definitely be back often.

Visited during Father's Day weekend, so it was pretty crowded, but the wait was only about 10 minutes--not bad at all. Just make sure you put your name down on the clipboard I thought it was an order first spot, but it's actually a sit-down restaurant. The portions are huge, definitely great for sharing, and the prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. The battered fish was really good, but the calamari was just okay--the breading was falling apart, which was a bit disappointing. The coconut shrimp was tasty, especially with the sauce on the side, though it felt a bit pricey for just five pieces. Kale slaw was delish! Way better than coleslaw Fries could be better though. Service could've been better. I think next time it's better to share the entree and grab few appetizers. Overall, I'd come back again!

The inside of the restaurant was small and outdated, but if there's one thing you know about mom and pop shops like that, is that it is either a hit or miss. And boy does the fish slap. Yesssir!! Suddenly the interior decor doesn't matter at all. The fish pieces are HUGE!!! I ordered a 3-piece and what it definitely looked like I got was at least a 5-piece. The crunch of the batter to the flakiness of the fish.. ugh. Makes me want to go back just thinking about it. The tartar sauce and malt vinegar paired along so nicely.. my mouth is watering again.
