Quite disappointed. It started well. Nick came by, looked at the work I needed done, and sent an estimate. But the work covered on the estimate wasn't the total we'd discussed and he promised to send a revised estimate. Never showed up. I tried contacting to see what was up but never heard anything back. So, I can't comment on the quality of the work, since nothing was done, but I can't give a particularly good recommendation when the follow-through of the owner is so disappointing. Since 2/5 is described as "Could've been better" and my experience absolutely could have been better, that's what I'll be going with. read more

Superb roofing company. We had our roof done in one single day. The team labored incessantly to achieve their mission and left after delivering top notch customer experience and product. Dealing with the sales representative, we were impressed with their professionalism and thoroughness. We made several calls to ask for additional information and everyone was absolutely superior. The day before the job, the porta-potty and the roofing materials showed up. The next day it looked like an army platoon had descended on our house. They covered the decks, outside firepit, everywhere that there was a possibility of damage. Within an hour and a half, the entire roof was gone. Then the new roof took shape. The team of 13 people was phenomenal, working in tandem like a humming, well-run assembly line. By 3 PM, they started cleaning up and left at 4 PM after leaving no trace. I was quite surprised with all, the quality of work, the efficiency, and the value of work for the cost. Definitely five star material. read more

After calling to set up a consult to determine if we needed to fix only a small portion of our roof, the following happened: -they (Mike) showed up on time -looked at the issue from the outside and in (including the attic) -asked about the age of the roof and a couple other things -recommended I do not spend what would be a few thousand dollars for a small area when I would need a new roof anyhow in 2-5 years Upon leaving, he asked if it would be helpful to get a couple of quotes for a new roof so I would have a relative idea 2-5 years from now regarding the cost. First, the pricing was great. Another roofer I got pricing from was $6,000 higher, but said that Nick Tracey was great--so why would I hire someone else? A dumpster and porta potty were delivered the Friday before they started, and both were gone the day after they finished. The crew was efficient, even in 100 degree weather on a black roof! The roof looks wonderful, and they improved on the previous work: better flashing, correcting the too-narrow slot under the ridge vent. They even painted the white PVC vent stack black to better blend in. There was a supervisor onsite all the time. A pleasure to work with. read more

He left me with some options and plenty of selections to chose from. The price was affordable and in my range, and was little less than what I expected to pay, so that was a delightful surprise. Nick & Mike were in contact with me to update me on product delivery and install date. On the day of the install I met with the supervisor Angel, he was extremely polite and knowledgeable. He kept me updated throughout the day with pictures of progress. When I got home that night, the roof looked amazing and I couldn't even tell they were there, everything had been cleaned up. Nick Tracey replaced my roof quickly and at a fair price. I had interviewed several other contractors that made me feel concerned that they were hustling us. They were all constantly trying to up-sell. Nick was prompt, professional, and very low pressure. He had excellent references, and his crew was excellent. The crew was completely unobtrusive, thorough, and quick. It's year later, and I have never found a scrap of old roofing material, or nails anywhere on my property! My roof is beautiful, and I couldn't be more confident about the quality of the workmanship! I wouldn't hesitate to use Nick again, but I won't have to for 20+ years!
