    Italian time
    Charles T.

This would be 3.5 if I was allowed to give that. I had 2 trips to Primo's in Tannersville, PA. Both times the service was friendly but both times the service was slow. It's a very new business so the inside is brand new. Bright and clean. I saw cooper sharp as an option my first time in (and I knew they used Liscio's rolls) and went with a cheesesteak. This was a mistake. The steaks texture was odd and they just melted the cheese over the top of it. Nowhere near enough cheese and it wasn't mixed in at all. I won't be getting a cheesesteak from a Primos again. Got the Italian the second time. This is a very good sandwich. Thumann's meats on that Liscio's roll. Lettuce was shredded nicely and not brown in any areas. I get oil/vinegar and mayo...always have always will...and it was quite good. This sandwich and a turkey sandwich did take 20 mins to get though, with no other orders in the building. I peeked around the corner once and the employees were just sitting down with a half made sandwich on the cutting board. No bueno. Primos didn't suck, but the service needs to get better for sure.

Its a cute and comfy atmosphere with a home town charm and super friendly staff. I love their soda and brought home all the flavors! I will be ordering from here often since I am new to the neighborhood!

Fresh homemade meats, soups, desserts, you name it...it's all done the right way here. First time here I had the pulled lamb sandwich. I had never heard of this before and I asked the owner what he suggested and after he said "everything", he said if I liked lamb then this was it. He couldn't be more correct. The lamb was tender and juicy, the roll was a nice sturdy Kaiser, and the pickled cabbage added a nice little acidity and juiciness to this sandwich as well. Next time in I ordered the "Phat Boy" and the Roast Beef sandwich. Both were incredible. The phat boy had fried eggs, cheese, pork roll (or Taylor Ham depending who you ask), bacon, and sausage on that same Kaiser roll. Everything was amazing, but the flavor of the sausage really shined through on this and created an experience I want over and over again. You could truly taste the freshness of the meat and delicious fennel flavor. This roast beef sandwich rivals (if not beats) the amazing roast beef sandwiches of my youth in Brooklyn from places like Brennan and Carr as well as Roll N' Roaster. The meat is incredibly tender, I was barely even chewing and it was just melting away in my mouth. The au jus added some nice flavor and moisture, and the horseradish mayo was (as it always is) a wonderful touch on a quality roast beef sandwich. The last time in (again on his suggestion) I went with the lamb burger. Another homerun. The meat was tender and cooked medium rare. The bun again was that same crusty Kaiser roll which I personally love for burgers. Just the addition of lettuce, tomato, and his Rooster sauce so to not overpower the flavor of the meat. This was seriously fantastic and somehow honestly probably the lowest on my list of items I loved here...that's how good everything else has been. Run, don't walk to get here. Roosters Meat Barn (I think technically in Reeders) in Stroudsburg, PA - Didn't Suck

The platter was stuffed so the lid barely fit. The textures were smooth, the spice was just right, (i like heat) and the white sauce was so delicious mixed in with the dish. I have totally found a substitute for chinese takeout and shah's will be my go to. Excellent job brothers, keep doing what you're doing A few hours later: Ok now i'm burping up the dish and it tastes just as good as when it went down, the cucumbers are magic

I got five platters, some pita, a side of hummus, a bottle of Coca-Cola, and some baklava. The total came to right around $80. I got three chicken and two combination lamb and chicken platters. The chicken is moist and tender and always delicious. The lamb well not my favorite, is also tender and flavorful. We always get it with onions and peppers, black beans, the cucumber, onion, tomato, medley, chickpeas, hummus, and white sauce. The vegetables are always fresh, and the combination of the flavors is on point. Sometimes I find their little light handed, but they're always willing to add a little more to get you where you wanna be. I've never had an issue with the staff, they are always happy and accommodating. The seating area is always clean and there are several tables so space is never really an issue. If I had to find something to complain about, it would be that some of the dishes require cooking in the back, and those can take a long while if you order them. Items such as the burgers, and chicken nuggets, are definitely pre-frozen and almost assuredly meant for children. Stick with what they do and you'll be absolutely happy.
