I always get the same synthetic oil change when I go to Valvoline and use the online coupons. I was in and out of there in maybe 7 minutes. Fastest oil change ever, and I was impressed with their speed and happy I didn't have to deal with a bunch of upcharging and additional options because I don't go to valvoline for anything else, and only for an oil change in a pinch. Our family cares about having safe places for members of the queer community to patronize, so this got me in the door. We were able to get both our cars in for routine service quickly. This included a free all-points inspection with photos and info (e.g. brake pad thickness) and broke everything down by degree of urgency. Service was prompt and friendly, and after I discovered transmission fluid was leaking from one car when we got home, they apologized and got me back in right away to correct the issue. Parking lot is tight and there's no night drop (fenced lot), but they have a nice waiting area and their lobby shows how involved they are in supporting the local community. One shop wanted $219 after having me drive by to look at it, another wanted $160 after two long phone calls of questions and 'ill get back to you'. Meineke? Jacob, current manager, delightfully gave me the best price in town, just from over the phone and said they weren't too busy for me to stop by to do it asap. I could hear him smiling through the phone, which made me feel cared for and not like a nuisance to them to make time for me. I was already hooked. I got there a little less than an hour to CLOSING. They installed both my headlights assembleys for the BEST deal in town, with a SMILE, in a TIMELY manner, while going above and BEYOND advising me of needing to replace my blinker because its missing a bolt, letting me know where I can find certain car supplies and giving me tips on how to clean fogged headlights. Jacob made that last minute and stressful experience so smooth and pleasant. I felt concerned and cared for coming here. He also has a great sense of humor and is clearly customer service oriented and fun to be around! I highly recommend this place for any installations based off my experience here at Meineke! Their standard pitch lately is now to have you leave your vehicle for what entails a 30-60 minute inspection and tell you that if they find something that needs repair then the vehicle is already in the bay and they can take care of it. The issue here is that I am just requesting an inspection - and if additional work is needed then I reserve the right to obtain other quotes. I don't consider it necessary to leave my vehicle for an entire day while they work around other jobs they have going and waiting for what typically amounts to work that I want a second opinion on. Just advise not to 'leave' your vehicle, if they can't do a basic check in an hour then they're wasting your time and setting up expectations of major work that needs doing.
