We stopped here on the way they Huntington and OMG I'm so glad we did. The place was a throwback in time with the bar stools and the counter an old fashioned milkshake machine and a pie fridge. Their menu is a good size with huge portions. The tenderloin is enormous and their burgers are perfect for cutting into two and eating one half at a time. The fries are a huge portion and oh so tasty. The entire meal was fabulous. I wish I lived closer because this spot would be a once a week hit for my daughter and I. Service is great, not only were they patient with all of our questions but they kept their smiles the entire time. They food is made to order and comes out fairly quickly. The soda tasted sooo good out of their soda fountain. We didn't try pie because we were so full but maybe one day because they are big slices as well. It's busy in there so be prepared to wait for a table and the servers are very busy but they are attentive! We constantly saw them fluttering around to every table making sure everyone was satisfied. They take credit cards or cash and have to go boxes! Hope people will try it if they are ever in the area. read more

The only competition this place has is a good house wife! There are lots of choices on the menu. All of the food is excellent. The staff is friendly and work together as a team. The best part, besides the incredible food...the owner recycles and buys recyclable products for the to-go containers! Get off the highway for a great breakfast. After an early start from West Lafayette to Philly stopped here for breakfast. It felt like going back home. The basic 2 scrambled eggs, home fries, toast and sausage we done just right. The sausage appeared to be ground and flattened into a party and was very tasty. Huntington is about a half way point my family and I to meet for lunch - so we chose Nick's Kitchen based on the reviews and craving for a breaded tenderloin! We all went with a breaded tenderloin of course and a side of fries or onion rings - next time I would skip the side because you want to save room for the PIE! The breaded tenderloin was good - could have had a better bun though... I think they should be known for their butterscotch or sugar cream pie!! It was so good!! Came here with the family on Small Business Saturday and loved it. I had the tenderloin, because how could I come here and not? It was so perfect - tender inside and crispy outside. Oh, plus it's huge! Either come hungry or expect to leave with a doggie bag. We weren't hungry enough after the sandwiches to try their pies, but they all look delicious. We'll have to save room next time I guess. The staff were all very friendly also and they did a great job answering any questions, getting the food out to us, and keeping up with drinks. This place has the best breaded tenderloin sandwich I've ever had. It doesnt come with a side, but it is so filling I'm glad. The pie flight is also great because all the pies are so good. Their "famous" breaded pork tenderloin sandwich is disappointing; dry, flavorless, and the bun crumbles after two bites. French fries are not crisp. Service is very slow; we had to get up twice to get items we needed because it was impossible to get a waiter's attention. The 2-star rating is for the decor, which was the only pleasant thing about Nick's Kitchen. You'd do better eating at home. read more

Mane this wasn't even close to the best pork tenderloin sandwich I had. Places that are better. Waynewood Inn, and yes even Crazy Pins have a better pork tenderlion from the old Speedway cafe recipe. Mane I drove all this way for this Pork tenderlion? pricey and charge you for every little thing here. I got the homemade onion rings and got like 5 onion rings for a hefty price. Me not coming back place isn't very good and one big rip off. Famous in there heads perhaps, but in the real world not very good. Not all that. Won't be back bye bye. read more

Once again, Nick's Kitchen was delish!! We came from Fort Wayne to eat here. Adalyn, Chris, and Maddie were again great servers. The place was packed plus they had lots of carry out business today at 2pm and we still had good service. Today we ordered their famous tenderloin sandwich and onion rings, plus a fish dinner with fries and apple salad. Food was hot and fresh when it arrived. We got several slices of pie to distribute to family. The black raspberry pie is the BEST! We also got peachy apple, cherry and apple. Pies are always, always amazing. If you want to try more than one, order a flight of pie. You get three 1/2 slices so you can try several. This place is always clean. The ladies room is always clean. Jean Ann, the owner, is always checking to make sure the food is good and guests are happy. Just hearing others today, many came from other places just to eat there. How amazing is that? I ordered the big tenderloin with coleslaw and my wife ordered the small one with fries. You got a small portion of slaw and the fries my wife got were pieces and on the burnt side. My tenderloin was okay; but not great! And I was surprised that after charging a good price for the sandwich that they added 50 cents for the tomato. read more

Lived up to its billing. Pork loin sandwich was HUGE. my wife had the pulled pork dinner and again the portion was enough for two. No room for the sugar cream pie but another diner had the pecan pie and it was above average but nothing to write home about. This is my go to food library. I spend a little time at the comic store located across the street and then I head on over to this little gem of a spot. First time I ordered food I got a delicious Double Cheeseburger with some onion rings. They were delicious the burger was cooked to temp, the fixings were all crisp and fresh, the waiter was nice, the place was empty but they said they picked up after around 5 o'clock. My hamburger was low quality meat which was apparent by the taste. Didn't finish it. My husband had a Cobb salad and couldn't finish it due to the bleu cheese dressing that tasted terrible. The coffee tasted like it was days old. Will not be back. read more
