Unfortunately, my experience was extremely frustrating due to poor communication and lack of follow-through. From the very beginning, I clearly shipped my instrument cluster via UPS with all return information included inside the box -- my name, phone number, email address, and the correct return address. I also included written documentation explaining the vehicle issues and the condition of the cluster. After shipping, I followed up by email providing the tracking number and requested confirmation once the cluster was received. I also attached the same paperwork again via email. None of this was ever acknowledged. I was never notified that the cluster had been delivered, and I received no updates unless I personally reached out. I eventually had to call the company myself due to the lack of response. I was told I would be contacted once the unit was ready to be shipped back, but that never happened. Communication continued to be inconsistent, which led to additional calls and follow-ups on our end just to get basic information. Despite multiple emails and phone calls confirming where the part should be shipped, the cluster was ultimately sent to an entirely different address that I do not recognize, nearly two hours away from me. This created a major inconvenience and should not have happened. Mistakes can happen, but the ongoing lack of communication, failure to acknowledge documentation, and incorrect shipment made this experience very disappointing. I hope the company improves its internal communication and handling process so future customers don't go through the same situation. read more

So impressed with this service! I hated the thought of trashing my six year old Vizio p65, after it would no longer turn on. After having no luck finding a replacement main board, I mailed the bad one to Nick's. They kept me updated on their portal, so I knew the status of my repair. I received the repaired board in about a week. The tv now works good as new. I also like their repair videos on YouTube. They failed to fix my Maybe 150 pound 78" tv. I took it home and it failed in short order. They said it works for them and no refund for me. They would not leave it running, said they had other Tv's to fix which is B.S. obviously. They said they would fight me if I asked for credit on my visa. They charged me $550 and told me to come get my tv. I said ok, so are you going to come to my house when it won't work? No answer, and The owner could care less. Like I want to haul this Tv back and forth a third time because they are too lazy and can't fix cuz it "works for them" Bull, They are dishonest and don't care about their Customers or Employees. Very happy with Nick's service! I had a 2012 Samsung TV which had begun on the dreaded perpetual reboots and crashing whenever I touched a remote button. I sent the main board down to Tucson and they worked on it. Unfortunately the culprit was on one of the other boards, yet they were nice enough about it and asked me to send all 3 boards down for a second round of repairs free of charge. I was extremely satisfied with Nick's Electronics Repair service, and I'll tell you why. From the initial contact to completed transaction, Nick's repairs service was very professional. They take the time to call you to discuss your issue. They talked with me about the symptoms and made their recommendation to repair the mainboard. Other companies I talked to refused to even talk to me and stated that any recommendation is the customer's responsibility. Nick's has excellent communication during the repair process. You're notified when your item arrives at their shop, when it is in the queue for inspection, when it's in the queue for repair. After repair, it goes to quality assurance. Mine had to go back to repair twice because it failed QA. I'm glad they were so thorough and found the issue rather than shipping it back to me. You get email updates every step of the way. Don't fall for those cheaper repair services on eBay. I almost did. You get what you pay for. Without question, next time I need electronics repair, I know where I'm going. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the service I received from Nick's. I have an 11 year old LG Plasma that I love. The picture is phenomenal and no motion blur. I am not ready to spring for an OLED upgrade at this time. Recently, our HDMI ports stopped working on this television. Having had the same issue 5 years ago and doing some additional internet research, I surmised it was likely the main board in my TV as had been the issue previously (then, I ordered a replacement OEM main board and installed myself). Further research led me to Nick's as a repair option as it has become challenging to find OEM parts in the current supply chain. Now, you do disassemble your device and mail the circuit board in for repair service. I was hesitant, but figured I didn't have much to lose since my TV already was non functional. Nick's notified me when they received the main board, kept me updated as it progressed through the repair process, and notified me when complete and shipped back to me. I received it Christmas eve, reinstalled it, and now have a fantastic picture again. Nick's, thank you for the fair price, great service, quality workmanship, and constant contact/updates along the way. Super happy with the mail-In repair service from eBay. My three year old LG 65UF6450 began experiencing an issue where the TV would only display static regardless of source. LG wouldn't repair because because it was out of warranty. Not going to lie, I was a little skeptical about a mail-in service, but I figured I didn't have much to lose at this point. Watched a YouTube video on how to remove the main board (it was really easy), boxed up the board, sent it in. After a day I got an email saying they'd received the board. About a week later got an email they were testing it. Then a repair notice and a shipping notification. Popped the main board back in the TV and now it's working great. Whole turnaround time was probably two weeks. Not that it's a big deal compared to getting my TV working again - but I can confirm that the board I got back was my original board successfully repaired. About a year ago I'd chipped the digital optical audio connection; the main board I got back had the same familiar break on the plastic. I know a few reviews have said that there's no way these guys could actually repair a main board - turns out they can. And I'm very pleased with the result. read more

My TV got zapped by a lightning strike. As near as I can tell, there's only 2 TV repair shops in Tucson and this one was more highly recommended. If your TV is over 75 inches, they can't get it so you either have to bring it in yourself or hire someone. They have a guy who does this who is great. He charges $150 for his service. They got the TV and diagnosed it within a week. Then, I never heard from them again unless I called. They had my set for almost 7 weeks. I called once a week and each time something else was wrong-it needed another part that they had to order, they were still waiting for a part, they were doing quality testing, whatever. But they never called once with an update. I even told them at one point that their communication sucked and they still never called-at least until it was ready. They did call me about that. The cost was reasonable and the TV was fixed. But for having the set for almost 7 weeks, they could call with updates and at least sound empathetic. read more

An Honest Review. My Vizio TV started having power on problems and then wouldn't power on. After researching the problem and diagnosing that the power board was causing the problem, this led me to the videos from Nick's TV on YouTube. They offer advice on how to correct the problem or a way to send the board to them for repair if you don't have the equipment, time or expertise to fix it yourself. I saw the initial problem as the video indicated; however, there may be some other underling issue that I wasn't trained for to see or recognize. I went to their website and saw my board there with a price for repair at $64.95 and an extra $10 for return shipping. 1. You first purchase the repair/service you want 2. They will send you an email with instructions on how to package and send to them. 3. They will invite you to make an account to track your item and to upload or document any symptoms or problems (Do it). 4. They will advise you when they receive it and inspect it to make sure it isn't broke or damaged from the shipping 5. A pre-diagnosis or test bed may occur (mine did) to validate problems you may have noted 6. Repairs are made or info about the repair is sent to you Before I purchased the service, I called and Nick answered the phone. He also answered all my questions on time to turn around and packaging. I sent the package Priority mail to them. In 2 days after they received it, I received another email (also on the account they had me make) showing the arrival of my package and inspection of the board and let me know that there was no damage due to shipping. I received another email 3 days later stating that the board was tested on a test bed to validate the claim I was making and diagnosed for the problem. The email also said that the required parts were not available and had already been ordered prior to the repair and if I want to email or call to inquire about the delay I could. So, I called and one of the Techs told me that they were expecting the parts and he was going to send a message to the "On-Line" team to inquire how long of a delay was anticipated. He said he would call me or have someone call/email with the info my the end of the day. I received an email that evening stating they finished the repair and mailed the board back. I received the return in 2 days after. The package was really great!! Very well packaged and wrapped. I installed the power board back in and everything worked like a charm. No issues. I see on the board the capacitors that I thought were bad were replaced. Very clean and professional repair job performed. No documentation on the repair, only a sheet of paper with a checkbox for the board that said successful repair had been completed and please leave a review. Overall, I am very happy with the repair that saved a $1000 TV. Time from shipping to return was 2 weeks and 2 days. (They don't work on weekends, so be patient) read more

Very happy with Nick's mail-in repair service from start to finish: quick responses to an email inquiry before I purchased it, clear instructions on how to package and ship the board, prompt answers to questions while they had it, and email status updates when it was received/tested/repaired/tested again/shipped back to me. DO NOT!!!!! Purchase their eBay "Mail-in Service" where you send them your board and the clown "fixes" it for you. He won't, he can't, and doesn't actually touch a thing. What he will do is vacuum it, repackage it, and send it right back to your house with a sheet of paper that reads "Repairs Made/Tested Good". And when you go to install your now "repaired" board, the TV will still be dead. You'll be confused, disappointed & worried, asking yourself "Did these pieces of sh*t just scam me??" So first thing, you will email them right away asking for a refund. They won't respond right away. You will call them the following day & get that obnoxious receptionist...who will with all her life, block you from ever talking to the "tech" and will place you on a brief eternal hold as the prick feeds her words to reply with from his "repair" room. Will keep it short. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! I only used their service to save time in fixing the board. These positive reviews seem 100% fake. The guy can't do sh*t. read more

We looked around Gilbert/Mesa area for a repair shop for our TV. The choices are very few considering 55 inch brand new isn't too bad now a days to buy brand new. We did find one in Mesa but to repair the TV probably be 1/2 the cost of a new 55 inch TV. We only needed the main board to be fixed. Now we looked online and found Nick's repair. Yeah it is out of town so we had to pay to ship it out and for it to be ship back but the price was still way cheaper then to have it repair in town. The whole transaction was done online. We bought bubble wrap, packaging, printed out the receipt (you do pay ahead), write/type out what the problem we had with the TV and shipped it out. Again we shipped out the main board if you Google it there will be videos on how to remove it and no we did not buy any special tools. They had instructions that were pretty simple to follow. The whole process took about 1 1/2 weeks from us shipping it out, them repairing the main board and shipping it back. And now we have a perfect working TV again. DON'T RUN TO BUY A NEW FLAT SCREEN TV before you get a free estimate at NICK'S TV REPAIR at 22nd and Crawcroft. I did just that early November 2020. Luckily it was to be delivered 3 days later soI was able to cancel the sale. ($1141.00) We got our Samsung 52" in 2009 when it was top of the line. Great picture .We loved it. Then it wouldn't turn on with the other surround sound components. Had Cox out. Later got it to turn on a couple times by quickly pushing power button. But not consistently. Went on line ,called Nick's. They checked it out, gave me probable estimate. Next day gave me the estiment which was less than the probable $200.00 mentioned the day before. He also checked their computer for TV's with similar problems and if any came back for further repair. We were so very happy with the whole experience and the service and price. As a retired RN with 43 years in the service industry, I know good service when I see it. I'm happy to write this review and to say you can't go wrong with Nick's TV Repair. Took my TV in as the picture was intermittent my so called repair was supposed to be minor is what I was told so dropped off my TV and Nick himself said my TV was one of the best made by it's brand he said he would diagnose it and let me know how much the part would be a few days later he called and left a message that the TV was not repairable and he could dispose of it, I went to pick it up and brought it home the power button is dangling off the TV it self will not even turn on I opened the back of my TV and there are parts missing I am so upset not only are these guys inept in electronics they are ripoffs Now all I have is a gutted TV NO RECOMMENDATION FROM THIS BAD EXPERIENCE ! read more
