It was like discovering a secret place filled with affordable treasure, and I've since returned many, many times. The store is filled with such great pieces that it is almost impossible not to react with glee. The eclectic assortment of pieces includes antique furniture, wonderful Christmas ornaments (including some lovely peacock feathers that I used to make my tree spectacular this year), charmingly feminine and/or hipster earrings made from glass and sterling silver by a local artisan, lovely classic children's gifts, tasteful wall hangings and designer pieces, pop art dishes, unusual gift items and things that you would raid from your mother's attic or even your grandmother's if they weren't looking. :) You never know what to expect, as their buyer finds such appealing things. The prices are reasonable for the pleasure these lovely things will give you and you will feel more like a welcome guest than a customer. The proprietor, Deanne, is also a design consultant and will kindly try to help you narrow down your choices and stay within your budget, but I must warn you... There are just so many lovely items. I brought 2 bracelets in to A&J Jewelry. I'd never been there before and like to support local…read morebusiness. Never again. One bracelet was an easy fix-just a metal connection needing repair. The second bracelet, a tennis bracelet with very small diamonds needed ONE diamond replaced. I dropped them off on 8/2. The simple bracelet was fixed in a couple weeks. I had to call repeatedly for updates and was told the tennis bracelet was more difficult (a part had to be ordered). Finally on 9/20 I received a call it was ready. This is after multiple calls from me every 2 wks checking in and being told every time, it would be ready "the following Tuesday". They simply ruined my bracelet. Instead of replacing one small diamond, they replaced THREE. And instead of the 3 new diamonds being flush with the bracelet in accordance with the others, they are raised. AND they used gold which does not match the gold in the bracelet. I called them when I got home after looking at the "repair" and they simply said they were sorry I wasn't happy. I do not recommend this jewler. They ruined this very sentimental and dear bracelet.

He had the watch battery replaced and all the dials reset in under 20 minutes. He also gave me a box for the watch since I didn't have one. His kind and thoughtful gesture was especially appreciated because today's my son's birthday and the watch was from his father who passed. He was quick, efficient and very kind. Scam artist! Wish we would have read the comments before making a purchase. My spouse bought me two…read morerings for Christmas. The first one was white gold with an amethyst. Not even a week later the stone fell out. I don't have a job that's rough and take my rings off to do dishes etc. so the fact that it fell out within a week is ridiculous. Then when we read the comments this happened to someone else as well. They wouldn't do anything to help or replace the stone. The second ring is white gold, diamonds, and tanzanite. Well we were lead to believe it was a tanzanite but not even a month later and the stone is becoming clear/see through and most definitely is not real. I'm not going to stand by though and do nothing. I've contacted the BBB, Westfield Mall (we're they are located), and will go to the news if I have too. The fact that they are getting away with ripping people off infuriates me. We work hard for the things we purchase and want these things to be nice. At the very least last longer than a week!! I would recommend never stepping a foot in this jewelry store if you value your money.
