TO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- WILL RUIN YOUR EVENT If you're considering hiring this company for an important event, especially an outdoor event, I strongly encourage you to read our experience before booking. We paid $700 for what was supposed to be the centerpiece of our daughter's first birthday. Instead, approximately 20 minutes before our guests arrived, the display began falling apart. The shimmer wall separated, balloon sections detached, and the entire structure collapsed before the party even started. The owner, Nicolette, never came to our event herself. Instead, she sent assistants to perform the installation. During setup, one of the assistants actually asked us if we had a rock because they didn't have enough sandbags or weight to properly secure the display. When we told her we didn't, she responded, "I was just given these materials. You'll have to take it up with the owner." That should have been our first warning sign. A professional balloon company charging hundreds of dollars should arrive fully equipped to safely secure its own display--not ask the customer to provide rocks. After the display collapsed, we were forced to search our yard for rocks and concrete blocks ourselves just to try to keep it standing. We also had to reinforce the shimmer wall with packing tape so the party could continue. The second group that arrived to address the collapse introduced themselves as Nicolette's parents. During their visit, they called Nicolette in front of us. During that conversation, we heard them state that the structure had not been properly supported by the assistants because there were not enough sandbags used to stabilize it. They also told us they had previously recommended that Nicolette stop taking jobs on Long Island because she lives upstate and cannot personally service her Long Island clients. We also recognized the stand used for our display as an Amazon stand. In our opinion, it was poor-quality equipment that had no business being used for a $700 professionally installed outdoor balloon display. It appeared lightweight and not suitable for supporting a large outdoor installation. After the event, Nicolette relied on a clause in the contract regarding outdoor displays. However, the weather that day was completely normal for a summer party--approximately 9 mph sustained winds with gusts around 16-17 mph. There were no storms, no severe weather advisories, and no unusually high winds. We expected a professionally installed outdoor balloon display to withstand ordinary weather conditions. Although the contract discusses outdoor displays, we could not find language stating that a customer assumes responsibility if a professionally installed display collapses in ordinary weather. Despite the display collapsing before guests arrived and continuing to fail even after repairs, Nicolette refused to issue a full refund and instead offered only $150 back on a $700 display. You only get one first birthday. Instead of spending those moments celebrating with our daughter, family, and friends, we spent them repairing and stabilizing a display that should have remained standing from the beginning. We have photographs and video documenting the progression of the collapse. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company. If you're spending hundreds of dollars on a milestone event, ask who will actually be installing your display, what equipment will be used, and how it will be secured. We wish we had Owner will also try and play on words and say that their outdoor set ups aren't guarneteed - I'd say then don't take my money and the job if you can't do it properly do the job. read more

Nicolette did my daughters Communion, and although the weather turned out to be terrible, the company that handled my event was above and beyond accommodating and professional. Sadly, I was very disappointed with the balloons. The designs were not what we discussed, or what I paid for. The cross looked nothing like the picture that I had send, and the balloon arch was nice, but again not like the pictures provided, additionally it was not personalized as also discussed and agreed upon (and I was charged and extra $100 for)I do not know if maybe they had another event or something else but it was upsetting to say the least as this recommendation came from a friend. Lastly, the complementary religious package was non existent. The 3 free rose gold cross balloons were left deflated on the table and in silver. The free balloon cross tower did not exist and the free god bless sign was used on the backdrop in lieu of the personalized back drop that cost me an extra $100. I reached out once without a response and three weeks later received an email asking for a review. I emailed Nicolette privately but again no response. In fact she responded after I wrote a negative review, which was requested, and the conversation quickly turned contentious. She blamed me for everything that was wrong, telling me that I am a miserable person and to "tell my deadbeat baby daddy, that I kept bitching about Happy Father's Day" I have never in my life worked with such a crass and unprofessional vendor. Please save yourself the aggravation and deal with a legitimate and reputable company. read more

I'm only giving one star because I'm required to give a star rating. But if it were up to me this company would get no stars. I hired NICOLETTE'S CREATIVE CO to do my daughter sweet 16. she came recommended by one of my vendors. I hired her to do the welcome sign, seating chart two balloon arches and the candelabra. My agreement stated 50% deposit and final payment in cash the day of the party. She made the seating chart three weeks too early and it was all wrong. There were names on the chart that were no longer attending. it was way too small. People couldn't even see it let alone see their names on the seating chart. the welcome sign was also too small. When I asked her to come to the venue and do a walk through of the floor plan she advised she would only come at an additional $85 charge. Which is insane since she is being paid to decorate the walk through should be included. She doesn't honor a signed contract. She doesn't allow you to make changes to what you want even though that's what you're paying her for. I asked her to remove the welcome sign since I found something else. She said no. Mind you I requested the change 4-5 months ahead of the party. Instead of offering an alternative she says no changes allowed. As the party got closer I asked her to confirm the set up time the day of the party would be 5pm she stated she cannot guarantee she would be there at 5 she had other parties. The party started at 7pm. they showed up at 5:30 and weren't done setting up until right before we were to walk out. My guest were showing up and there were balloons still going up. to top everything off. a week to days before the party she changed her company policy to payment 72hrs in advance of her even doing the party. I told her, the change made sense for new customers but I was an existing customer with a signed agreement that stated cash day of the party. I had given her 50% of the total already. Her rebuttal was that she is running a business she changed her company policy it was not an argument I was to pay within 72hrs It was either pay or she wouldn't show up and ruin my daughter party. Not only did she send insistent reminders leading up to the 72hrs She then proceeded to change the total price of the agreement and called it a credit card fee. Since when are credit card fees added to each individual service being provided? her excuse for the additional charges is a decimal rounding issue. She added a 4% fee to each item on my invoice instead of it being 4% on the total. She's a theif. The day of the party instead of her being in attendance she sends her associate but did not advise her staff of how the decore was supposed to be set up . They didn't know how or where things were supposed to be. she also didn't send the right colors on the balloons. the colors were supposed to be burgundy dusty rose and rose gold she used all pink balloons and almost no burgundy. The photos will show what I asked for vs what was provided. It's not what I asked for. The back drops were hung incorrectly and looked wrinkled and almost cut off. She is rude and unprofessional and horrible business owner that doesn't know the meaning of customer service. I do not recommend this business to anyone. read more
