Ok, this is my favorite pizza place in Utah. The crust is just amazing! I love the Nico Special without mushroom and add black olives. I also tried the BBQ Chicken without Pineapple this time. It was fantastic. The wait always seems to be forever, so you want to call ahead, but it's worth the wait. We ordered and the wait was an hour and forty minutes on a Saturday night. But the pizza was worth every bite. I just asked my wife if it was worth the wait and she said, "definitely!" The ambiance is very casual. They have a fair number of tables and you can bring them together for bigger groups. It's right off campus at BYU, so there are lots of students that come in. Tried one with BBQ and one with red pizza sauce; tried to order one with "blue cheese sauce" as listed on the menu, but I guess it doesn't exist. The Caprese salad is excellent and the green salad is good, but basic, with way too many croutons. The house-made salad dressing is unique and delicious. The wait for takeout wasn't bad, either; maybe just 15 minutes. The art is fun and clever, too, with a spacious and clean dining area. We'd be happy to eat inside next time. read more

Nico's is my personal favorite pizza place in the Provo/Orem area. While many other great options are competitive for the top slot, I find myself going to Nico's the most. They have an excellent menu, great build-your-own options, and even have a great lunch special for anyone looking for a quick slice. I've always been treated well by the employees and it seems like they have a lot of fun working there together and that adds a lot to the overall atmosphere. They do a pretty good job keeping the dining area clean and I've even gone in to work on my laptop for an hour or two while I eat. We have been going to Nico's for years, ever since they opened their prior location on the parkway. We love their crust, fresh toppings, and fantastic service. Our 18 year old has had pizza from everywhere in the county and beyond and declares that, "Nico's is superior." So much so that he held his graduation luncheon there. You walk in and are warmly welcomed. Your meal is prepared to your liking in a reasonable amount of time and all in at atmosphere that is both reminiscent of New York and a touch of cheeky humor. I was searching for some pizza by the slice near work. I was very pleased with the fast service and restaurant. I really enjoyed the coke machine. At first was only going to get a slice of pizza however with the great prices I got the Medium Niccos way which is half combo and half your choice. The pizza was yummy I love the thin crust to it and its crunhiness. I will be back for sure and I had some extras so I took it home for dinner. I was looking for a casual place to eat in Provo and found Nico's Pizza. It seemed like an awesome restaurant and I had never been before, so I thought, "why not?". I met a friend here for lunch and it was a great experience. First impression: what a horrible parking lot situation. There is too little parking spots for how many businesses are here. This is not a reflection of the business but important to note for your visit here. Once I was able to find parking, I popped over to Nico's Pizza. They had a pretty cute little patio for people that would like to sit outside. Inside, there was a bit of a line but that's okay because I didn't know what I wanted yet. I happened to be meeting with a graphic designer in the area. One of the first things I noticed about the menu is how it is just a bunch of words on a board. There is not a lot of variety with the sizes and fonts of the text. While this may seem like a very minuscule detail, I am just saying it was difficult to figure out what I wanted because of the design of the menu. I am a sucker for pesto, so I decided on the pesto chicken pizza. It was interesting that it came with broccoli and I don't think I was the biggest fan of it. I love broccoli but it is an odd pizza topping and kind of hard to eat with the pizza. The pesto and overall pizza was great though. It also came with a salad and the salad was okay. I have had much better salads but it wasn't bad. I think if it was colder, it would be better. Another perk to Nico's Pizza is that they have the Coke Freestyle machines so you get to pick out your very own soda and customize it--us Utahns love this. Overall, Nico's Pizza is an awesome place and I would love to visit again sometime soon. read more

I've had this place on my list for quite some time, particularly for the slices. There aren't many slice places in Utah County (only 3 to my count, this place, SLAB and Fat Daddy's). SLB is good, but it takes some time, and now its hard to find a place to park, and Fat Daddy's only serves slices during lunch. So the slice is $3, and you can get a combo with 2 slices and a soda for $7, which isn't a bad price at all. The pizza is NY style, the crust is more...tender? than SLAB's, and it comes out quick. Often, I don't want to pay $20 for a pizza, I just want a few slices, so this is where I come now. Good pizza, comes out fast, at a fair price. They have a serve yourself so to fountain with reasonably priced drinks. Crust was very good. Our food came out quickly. There's a new place called Medici nearby, who do not enforce mask wearing.
