Guys, if you love pizza you gotta try this place. If you don't like pizza...you gotta try this place. The dough! The ingredients! The kind of cheese that won't detach when you pull the slice away. It's all here. For example, they spend 5 days on making their dough, ask them about it. I usually toss crust out, but theirs is actually good. I loved the barbecue pizza in particular, and the cheese bread with marinara sauce was top notch. The hot sauce was very tame and flavorful. The house salad sauce was arguably the best I've had. First off I downloaded yelp just to leave this review. I was dragged out of the house by my roommate gaz to come try this place (2 hour drive) and on the way up I thought they were hyping it up too much. Let me tell ya, that pizza is better than sex. Not at all greasy and the crust has that nice but soft crunch you don't find very often. They make the pizza hot and fresh and tbh, you can't compare it to anything else. The gals wanted pizza for dinner, so off to Nico's we went. I am always on the lookout for a good pie and this place came highly recommended. The pizza turned out to be good, and the Stromboli even better. I, however, was disappointed. Whoever heard of a pizza joint that does not serve beer. Only in the Utah Valley. I should have called. I should have checked Yelp. What is the matter with me? The gals got a chuckle out of my frustration, so I at least provided these callous, cold hearted wenches with a little dinner entertainment. Next time we get a pizza craving in this area, we will go to Pizzaria 712. The pizza is great, the gals working there are sensitive, caring, and, serve cold beer. Provo has REALLY stepped up its pizza game over the last couple of years. Places like Midici and Mozz popping up left and right make the pizza market a lot more competitive around here. All of that mixed with the good things I'd heard from fellow yelpers led me to have pretty high expectations for this place. I ended up liking it just fine, but wasn't blown away. The pizza was pretty good! Definitely a step up from the fast food joints, but it didn't really leave a lasting impression for me. It's good enough that if a friend asked me how Nico's pizza was I'd tell them it's good! But I'm not running around telling all my friends to go here. Two biggest stand outs for me were the awesome service and the yummy house dressing. Prices are also reasonable. I would probably compare this place to Slab, and I would pick Slab over Nico's any day. I'm sure I'll be back eventually. Just not going out of my way to make sure that it's soon. read more

In my mind, Nico's Pizza fills the perfect niche for fast casual food. The food is really tasty, inexpensive with large portions, and always comes out fast and piping hot. I've gone here probly around a dozen times, and the service is genuinely THE nicest I've ever seen at any restaurant, period. Honestly a masterclass in customer service. It's Boston-style pizza, not authentic Italian pizza, so keep that in mind with expectations of what type of pizza you're getting. It honestly feels like a really gourmet version of Little Caesar's, if that gives you an indication of the style of pizza. Only complaint I've ever have is that there have been a few times that the breadsticks were not fully cooked through, and were doughy, although the majority of the time they hit it out of the park. read more

You wanna know what? Nico's pizza is pretty dang good. It's really good if you are a fan of your typical grab it while you watch a football game type puzzle. I would classify Nico's as something that is perfectly situated in between little caesars and MOZZ or something like that. It's not high end by any means but it is much better and much higher quality than a chain. In all reality the local flair certainly does add something too it. I am a big fan of getting their slices and making it a combo with a salad and a drink. They've got a coke freestyle machine so rest assured you can find a drink you like. They do cheese/pepperoni by the slice daily in addition to a slice of the day. The place is always clean when I go and the workers seem happy. Occasionally it takes a while to get your food but nothing out of this world long. The thing holding it back from 5/5 is there just isn't a wow factor. I don't leave thinking to myself "oh my gosh that's amazing." But I leave satisfied and so will you. read more

Best pizza in Provo. Consistent quality and friendly staff. If you like east coast style pizza this is the place to go. We have only ordered carry out and it is always ready when they said it would be. Really enjoy the Strada di Roma and I'd like to explore the rest of the menu but the regular old pepperoni is excellent so I usually stick with that. Forget delivery chains, go to Nico's. read more

Top notch pizza, amazing cinnamon bites, delicious cáptese salid, we absolutely loved the cheese scarpa but what was the absolute best were the wings. We all agreed that they were the best wings we have ever had. I recommend them plain as the skin was perfect. I love this pizzeria. I have been here three times now and every time the pizza is amazing. Their thin crust is so flavorful. I think they said they do a slow rise of 48 hours and you can totally taste it. Tonight we got cheese and then we split a pizza: ranch, chicken and bacon on one side and bbq sauce, chicken and red onions on the other. Both were winners! I love this place! Their food is amazing!! Their customer service is superb! My favorite thing to order is their scarpa combo that comes with two scarpas, a side salad, and a drink. Their house dressing is the best and I recommend getting it as dressing for the scarpas and the salad. A scarpa is basically the best bread and cheese ever!! Quite good actually. Quite good! East coast style pie--thin, flavorful, cruchy-chewy, high heat bake, bias against piling toppings up inches thick (thankfully). Quality of the slices themselves rates probably an 8/10. Surprisingly good for a random hole in the strip mall wall near a UPS store. Very tasty, and they sell by the slice, which is a massive (and almost unheard of) bonus in this area. The bad? You are almost guaranteed to wait at least 5-8 minutes for a slice, which is decidedly not east coast style, but not abominable in relation to the local competition. Also, very Utah prices for pizza by the slice, rather than east coast prices. Rather than $1-2 a slice, something like 3-4 times that price, so that pizza becomes a "real" lunch spend rather than a "street/junk-food" lunch spend. Still--that's probably just the economics of the area. There's a lot less foot traffic, so there's a lot less opportunity to sell/earn in volume and turn over inventory while fresh. Whatcha gonna do... beggars can't be choosers, especially in this part of Utah valley. If you're in the Bulldog and State area and want real pizza, this is your place. read more
