Everyone from Tooele knows nigh time dounuts, a super tasty donut stop with the best bagels, donuts, and bagel sandwiches around. Though just recently the shop added a gluten free/ plant based donut option and it is delicious! It comes with a vanilla or chocolate glaze with a soft cakey donut underneath. These donuts are so yummy and fairly priced. They do dry out rather quickly though, so don't order more than you'll eat in a day.

We had about an hour to stop and grab breakfast, found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. WOWZA! So glad we stopped in. Everything was fresh and warmed to taste. Just when I thought Utah had nothing to offer, I found this little gem. While I don't see myself traveling to Tooele all that often, whenever I do I will stop into the Nigh-Time Donuts & Bagels. It's been around for 20 years (says the large piece of butcher paper on the wall), and I can see why. Their donuts are always so good and fresh. They're nothing like Krispy Kremes - a plus. I used to say that I only trusted my donuts being made by Asians because in San Diego they seemed to know how to make the best ones, but Nigh-Time is pretty good...and they're not even Asian! Wow...almost sounds racist...but it's not and I'm not, I swear. The feel of the place is pretty laid back. It reminds me of being back home and this is where I'd go on Saturday morning after gymnastics practice. You know a place is good when it makes you reminisce...in a good way. The bagels are also really good. They have a much different density than Einstein Bros., and the cream cheese is really good. Unfortunately, they don't put the cream cheese on the bagel...you must do that yourself. Oh how lazy people like me complain about that...I just needed to get back on the road! The only thing that sucked...by no fault of Nigh-Time, is that I was eating my bagel in the car and, because of the fact I love my cream cheese and the bagel was still warm, a huge dollop of cream cheese came crashing down onto my jeans. Unfortunately I already used my napkin in the store to wipe away something that was on my bag...grr on my part. I can't see anyone wanting to go to Tooele for the food, but as long as you're there, might as well go pick up a donut. Oh! And for you really lazy people, there's a drive thru. You can get your fatty pastries without getting out of your car! One more thing. The price was freaking awesome. Today I ordered a sesame seed bagel, toasted with cream cheese, a chocolate bar, and a bottle of chocolate milk...it was only $2.95. Not too shabby, ay? read more

Nigh Time has become one of our favorite places in Tooele! Every time my sister is in town and spends the night, we pick up a dozen donuts in the late morning. Always fresh! I went to Nigh Time and found the gentlemen that helped me to be very nice and filled donuts for me with cream when they didn't have them in the case. This is not a bagel. I'm no bagel expert but I eat them often and I've had bagels from all the local grocery stores and bagelries around Utah and Nigh Time's is by far the worst. I don't understand why this business is so popular. The bagels and donuts are very dry and the bagels have the consistency of a dinner roll with a hole in it. The chocolate icing they use isn't even identifiable, chocolate isn't red and it simply tastes like sugar, no chocolate qualities whatsoever. Over charged and unappreciated. My daughter wanted a princess cake for her 4th birthday. I looked at all the grocery stores in town and Nigh Time Donuts seemed to have the most colorful cake. So upon requesting a price, no employee could quote me one. 4 days later, after calling a couple times the owner/cake maker called me back and quoted me $51.00 for a quarter sheet princess cake. When I went to buy the cake the cashier charged me almost $60.00. Me and my mother were very upset. She called the owner and she told my mother that she had quoted me the higher price and she would do nothing about it. They ripped me off almost $10.00 for the cake. I will never go there again. I used to work for the man who owns this fine establishment he only uses the very best of ingredients and never cuts corners never!! Stays with what works I never made donuts before but boy did I learn It felt so good to work for a man who really cares about his product and treats employes good and fair I learned alot about myself and what I could be capable of. I ordered a turkey bagel & got more than I bargined for. I was watching this guy slice my bagel in half with the very large knife and I guess at the time I didn't think to much about it. I started diggin around in my wallet for money and asked him if they had cranberry sauce he said no that they don't have anything like that just pickles, lettuce, sprouts, cucumber & tomatoes. Hhhhm I though okay well pickles, lettuce & tomatoes please I ask. He wraps it up and puts in a bag and gives me a total. I start wondering why he was holding his right arm behind his back. Well again like being a trusting person I didn't think anything about it. I get in my car (college student/ very starving) I start eating right away and I really don't live far from Nigh-Time but by the time I get home I am still eating it and even gave some to my 1 year old. I am now down to the last bite and look at it and wonder, the turkey that was hanging off the end of the bagel had blood on it. Sooooo upset.
