This place is awesome. It is a huge building with a drive through and high ceilings. I decided to call to order ahead and they made it so painless (except for the fact that they thought I was first asking to speak with someone there). Once I ordered, they got everything ready within 10-15 minutes. The bagels were amazing! They could have been a little bit fluffier (more bread) but the outside of the bagels were toasted and seasoned well. The everything bagel tasted amazing and as I would hope and so did the cinnamon sugar. Everyone was happy with their bagels which also included the cheddar jalapeño bagel, the French toast bagel, and the blueberry bagel. I plan on visiting this place whenever I visit Utah. We stopped by the bagel den on our way to Park City from Midway and we are so happy to have stumbled upon this place. The menu is massive for a bagel shop and the service was absolutely fantastic. My husband had the mexicana bagel sandwich with the Highlander grog coffee and said they were both a 5/5. I had the Cali bagel and added cream cheese which was absolutely delicious! It is very dangerous that they opened a location in Kimball Junction by my office. I have to ration my visits. The breakfast sandwiches are fantastic and I order frequently. I think where they really shine is in the other sandwiches. The club is my go to. Big thick slices of turkey and quality bacon. I can't recommend them enough. The service is lovely and they never judge me for how many things I want to put on a bagel. My bagel always comes out quick, just the way I ordered it and the correct temperature. read more

I got the egg and sausage bagel with an everything bagel and added chives and onion cream cheese it comes with sliced cheese and cream cheese is .75 extra. My husband got the nova lox combo. Open every day as early as 6am... this is the place to be. We stopped in on our way home from camping on a Sunday morning. The service was fast, the ambiance was like your typical breakfast bagel establishment (think, Einstein Bros Bagels), and the portions were fantastic. I didn't capture any pictures since I was starving, but I know that every time I'm on the road I'll absolutely be stopping here again. Bagels. Bagel. Say it out loud. Yes, right now. First of all saying the word bagel sounds like you're gagging. You look like a cat hacking up a hairball when you say it. On top of that, they're not that attractive to look at. I mean, can you imagine how the bagel feels when it sees a donut? Donuts, like bagels, are round and have a hole...but they are glorious to look at. There's frosting and sprinkles and various colors of cloud like cake. When shops display donuts they're under glass, spread out so that you can admire them. Or, they're behind the cash register on a wall, built to house them gently, side-by-side, under spotlights so everyone can see their beauty. But bagels...bagels are usually thrown in baskets, piled up on top of each other without any thought to their feelings. I was driving from Salt Lake City down to Vernal and was really hungry. I had yelped out some places I wanted to eat in SLC but each one had a wait list of 30+ minutes and I had to get on the road. I drove about 45 minutes to Heber and that's when I came across a small building specializing in the humble bagel. I used the drive-through and my order was taken by a really helpful and friendly employee who walked up to my car. The wait at the window took a little while, but I didn't mind because that meant they were making my sandwich fresh. I got turkey, bacon, avocado with mayo on an everything bagel. The bagel was delicious, really soft with a perfect firm outside crust. The turkey was not low end deli meat, it was like carved off the bone turkey. Red onions, tomato, bacon, and mayonnaise... it was really good! You're not gonna find elevated food here, just really great bagels, solid good sandwiches and a really nice variety of condiment options, spreads, etc. I also got a French toast bagel with honey almond spread for my breakfast the next day at my hotel. I haven't eaten that yet, I'll edit my review tomorrow and add a picture. If I was going back to Heber anytime soon, I'd definitely stop at the Bagel Hut. I feel like they give the bagel the respect that it deserves. And also because the food is really good. Why 4 stars? The wait at the drive through was long. There was only one car ahead of me. There was one person behind us, we walked up to the counter and started ordering but I guess too slowly for the guy taking the order, he was barking out orders to employees so I'm guessing he is the manager or owner. Anyway he was pushing us to be faster or suggested we move aside if we don't know what we want, he was rude and pushy until we ordered $22.00 worth of coffee and bagels then he was trying to be nice. Howwww have I driven through Heber so many times and not been here before?? This place is amazing! I feel like I just stepped out of a taxi in New York and into a classic bagel joint with freshly made bagels and a whole lot of options for success. We did the drive through which took a fair amount of time, but nothing crazy. My husband got the California breakfast bagel and I got an egg cheese and bacon bagel, both on pretzel bagels. Wow. They were soooo good! The pretzel bagels are salty so if you like that sort of thing, you'll love that one. We got a cinnamon sugar pretzel with pb&j for our kids to share and it smelled so good that we had to go back inside for another one! We also got the tropical smoothie and thought it was great! This place has excellent bagels. The dough is sourced from New York and flown out weekly. It's got a perfect, chewy texture, something you just don't get from most bagel places around here. They do homemade schmear. They've got a good variety from pretzel bagels to cheddar jalapeno to even french toast, and of course your typical cinnamon raisin, plain, onion, etc. Several schmears as well. We've tried some of their drinks and even the mac and cheese. Nothing disappoints here. When we're passing by in the morning we try and make a stop here. A half dozen bagels and a couple schmears and you've got a great breakfast for two (or even 3) for about $10. read more

A bagel spot in Heber! I hit these guys up a week or so after their grand opening. I found the atmosphere to be warm and inviting. They really did a great job converting the old Taco Time. Since it was breakfast I went with an everything bagel with scallion, bacon cream cheese. I was a bit worried the bacon would be soft and rubbery but it was crisp and held up well in the smear. The bagel was good. I'm not sure if they boil, then bake but I found the texture to be pleasing. I can see this being a popular place especially in the winter. The dining area even has a fireplace. Another NY bagel shop in Utah?? Yes please! Owners are from NY and ship the dough from a place in NY. The only thing non-NY?...they steam the bagles instead of boiling them. Place was packed when we walked in and only one person taking orders. In my opinion they are missing out by not making use of the drive thru. Although it may be because it takes a bit between ordering and getting what you ordered. We ordered at 10:27 (2 bagels toasted with butter and 1 bagel with sausage and egg) and we didn't get it until 10:45). The bagels were good, a bit of a crunch on outer shell and chewy center but they weren't as thick or crisp as a true NY bagel. It was slathered in butter and they were in little bags instead of wrapped in paper so it was messy for the drive but still good. My niece that got the breakfast bagel said the sausage was tasty and the egg was cooked well. A decently delicious breakfast sandwich. They use Park City Roasters coffee so that's a huge plus but they may still be learning how to do the coffee thing here since they weren't processing the orders quite right (had a fellow barista with me telling me they weren't doing it right by letting espresso shots sit out too long and then pulling too fast so it may be undercooked). I will stick to trying the bagels here as they are still new and working out kinks. The space is big and I love the four sided fireplace and wood accent furniture to make it seem like you are at home. However, the space is too echoey and you can't hear your name being called if you go sit down to wait for your food. The staff stands at the counter and calls out your name but you can't hear unless you are standing up there. I love how they converted the old Taco Time for this space and it's nice and convenient especially for people hopping on the 40 to head to PC or SLC, but it would be better closer to main street from kids going to high school etc. But they need to make the drive thru happen and take advantage of the people on the go and in a rush. Definitely stop by to taste the goodness but don't go if you're in a rush or you will be frustrated. I will have to give them another shot after a bit to give them a chance to work out the issues and get in the flow better. read more

I usually love this place but this morning there was so much salt on my egg I could feel my blood pressure rising. But that's not all, I bit into so much egg shell it got stuck in my teeth and it grossed me out so bad I was dry heaving! I opened the bagel and found more egg shell! Hubby and I can while exploring Utah. Saw it got good reviews so decided to try it out. I got a sesame seed bagel with bacon egg and garden veggie cream cheese. Bagel was good, I liked how they cooked the eggs not scramble basically you can see the white and the yoke. I like over easy eggs that's why I likeD how they cooked it. Probably was done on the microwave not sure. Also I didn't have cheese on mine just the cream cheese and they make their own cream cheese spread here you can tell by the freshness of the garden veggie spread, very good. Probably won't get it because it has raw onion and not a big fan of raw onion but if you don't mind it I liked the flavor of it. I would have given it 5 stars but wish the bacon was crispier, it was a little chewy and my mocha was Luke warm. Good but just warm. Took them about 5-8 minutes to get our bagels out. Not to long. We paid about 14 for 2 breakfast bagel sandwiches and a mocha. Hubby just had water to drink. Not bad but bagel shop back at home in California was way cheaper. The service was good, girl who took our order was nice and when asked what people like most with their sandwiches she responded Asiago or just plan. We sat at a table that was super wobbly... uhh might want to fix that guys. Scared my mocha was going to spill that's how wobbly it was. Wish they had outside seating so you can sit with your pups.
