Thuy's reviews speak for itself! I found her on Yelp (like most things) and her clients' genuine, honest, and positive reviews is what drew me in. At first, it is a little bit difficult to find. It is located right next to a barbecue restaurant that has a bit of a bigger sign. There's not much for parking, but it has never been an issue for me to find a spot so far. I love how intimate, private, beautiful and homey her studio is. She takes one client at a time, so you feel very comfortable as soon as you walk in. She times out her appointments perfectly. I've never had to wait, and maybe the one or two times I did- it was never more than 2 minutes. She does her job fast and thoroughly and is very knowledgeable in what she does. She's friendly, honest, genuine, informational and trustworthy. You feel comfortable with her. I usually go for underarm and Brazilian. Underarms are a piece of cake. The Brazilian does hurt. Even after going to her the 8th time, it still hurts... but I'm always happy in the end. Her prices are very fair. Around $10 (if I remember correctly) for underarms and $35 for Brazilian. Recently moved to LV and was finding a new wax place. Saw B studio in Yelp and was drawn due to high reviews. The place is clean and it has a spa-like ambience. I had brazilian and it was pretty good, not as painless as my previous waxer does but overall it was a pretty decent job. The reason for 3 stars is that I felt awkward the entire time as I was given the silent treatment which I am not used to, especially it is my first time in there. Didn't ask if I was comfortable, if there's pain, if it's too hot etc. Just plain, awkward silence, which made me feel uncomfortable. Sad because I was looking forward to that visit. read more

I got my first Brazilian wax done here and omg Thuy made it so quick and easy! I had a lot of questions beforehand because I was so nervous and she was so patient with me and very informative during the whole process. I felt comfortable with her as soon as I walked through the door and that's so important during your first time because let's be real Brazilian waxes can feel very invasive at first lol. I took an ibuprofen about 30 minutes before which helped with pain my first time. Looking back I definitely could've handled it without. I just bought a $20 thingy for Brazilian wax from groupon and went today to get it done. Since I'm kinda shy at first, Thuy ( Twee) is such a nice lady who really guided me all through it since it was my first time having it done. It wasn't too painful that I'll bleed out and cry, hella nothing like that! She did it like she was painting a canvas carefully. LOL. I just moved from Cali to Vegas on Jan 3rd. Had my wax girl in Fullerton... i told her I wouldn't cheat on her... but I have not had the time to make the drive to Cali for a visit and I was starting to feel like a cavewoman! She makes you feel at home by making it easy to make an appointment even when they are super busy, until you leave. The best customer service! This made it easier to not feel nervous, Brazilian waxes are not easy. I have had really bad experiences that it always makes me nervous when going to a new place, however they know what they are doing and they are extremely professional. My skin is really sensitive that when the wax is not done right i can feel it for days if you know what I mean that burning sensation. I can say with full confidence that it was the best Brazilian wax I have ever gotten. When you first walk in, you're immediately welcomed by the lovely and super adorable rustic decor of the studio. More importantly, the space was also very clean and well kept. Thuy is both the owner and lady-in-charge of getting rid of all hairy business, and is nothing short of amazing. She is extremely warm and personable, and makes the waxing experience a breeze. The waxing process was fast and thorough, and the pain surprisingly minimal. To start this off, I do have to say Thuy was absolutely amazing! She made me feel very comfortable considering I am a male receiving a Brazilian wax from a female for the first time. She was quick and very thorough in removing every hair! However I've been getting Brazilians from a male esthetician in San Diego for a few years now and after moving to Vegas, searching for weeks to find another male, I gave up and settled for a well reviewed female. Overall my experience wasn't too bad, obviously it was painful however I have never felt pain like that before. Not even for my very first waxing. I wasn't really given any warning so I was cringing the entire time... that whole inhale - exhale technique was used however she didn't give me a chance to even breathe in before she yanked. Aren't you supposed to pull when I exhale? Felt really rushed... After leaving very very sore, I decided that it's normal feeling and it'll go away however after two days, I am still very sore and after examining myself, I noticed that there's a layer of skin missing on an area that already has thin skin... which is what I try to avoid by getting waxed since I'm terrified to razors near that area. I sincerely apologize to Thuy for this review because your service was great up until I noticed this today... however I do not recommend her to any men interested in receiving a Brazilian. read more
