We DO NOT recommend Nightlight Christian Adoptions! They are a nightmare to work with as adoptive parents for two kids from Albania. Save your time, money and heartbreak by going with another Agency. We also DO NOT recommend there Renew Hope program. A case worker has lied to us repeatedly and when I brought it up to the director, she defended her employee. Nightlight is not a trustworthy adoption agency. read more

I am extremely disappointed in this org. They've lacked the ability to keep track of a child's file status three times in a row now while we've been in the inquiry phase. The first one had been adopted weeks prior and they had no idea, the second one they couldn't find the file and same with the third. Their solution: "what other children would you like to look at?" If you can't keep track of a human being that you are in a position of power to advocate for them you shouldn't be doing it period. This org should be ashamed at their complete disregard for human life! How disgusting! read more

Nightlight Christian Adoptions (NCA) is very near and dear to my heart because they helped my wife and I build our family. The Costa Mesa, CA office and staff are experts in helping new families prepare for the open adoption process (and on my family's behalf, we have seen the full spectrum). We wouldn't go anywhere else and NCA is family to us. read more

I want to say one thing. I gave birth to a boy for 6 months with my girlfriend. The name is ryan. The child's mother sent the child to this institution without my consent. And without the support of any legal documents. Take the child unilaterally and refuse me to see the child. The clerk's name is Michelle. And tell your child's mother not to answer my calls and not to contact me. I feel shameless about this behavior. I have always been active, wanting to return to my child in a conversational way. And actively discuss with the child's mother child care plans. But in the child's current family. Express your desire to adopt my child. What Michelle did was prevent me from communicating with my child's mother. I don't think this person is suitable for this position. There is no will or ability to look after the child between the parents of the child. Adoption decisions are generally made. But Michelle avoided my question. And told the mother and child not to answer my call. And ignored the fact that I was the father of the child. I also want to persuade me to agree to the adoption of my child. I'm the child's father on the child's birth certificate. Michelle despicably prevented me from contacting my mother and child. And told the child that my mother would not answer my call. Don't see me. I later contacted the mother and the child. Michelle called me very irritably and yelled at me when she knew. And swear words. I think the supermarket cashier is more suitable for you. You need to face your job with an objective and calm attitude. Your job is not to take your child away from your biological parents. Of course Michelle didn't let my mother and mother answer my phone. My girlfriend told me. I only knew how despicable Michelle was in this matter. I hope you will take this matter seriously and investigate it. Treat such employees. I don't think Michelle is qualified for her current job. i gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. i started with nightlight when i was about 5 months pregnant. michelle was extremely helpful and was there for any questions. when i found the family that caught my eye, we met them and knew they were right. we continued to meet them to make sure they were still the right choice. my baby's family lets me see her whenever and they send me pictures every other day to make sure i'm still included in her life. i'm very grateful i found nightlight. read more

What a terrible experience from beginning to end with Nightlight Christian Adoptions. From the beginning the focus of the adoption was all about what papers needed to be filed, mostly filled out by us with no help. We were going to adopt from Albania. We received a file from them with minimal information on the child. We were asked to make a decision within 2 weeks however we asked for more time being that we were having her medical file reviewed by the leading adoption doctor. We had just received her diagnoses and wanted more time to think about it, 24 hours is what we had asked for. We kindly asked for more time. The answer was no. We went forward in faith (with little information and one picture of the child) and decided to adopt. From then on, we payed invoice after invoice, which is mostly about the only time we would hear from them. We asked for more pictures and perhaps a video of the child and they always said "one picture is what the country provides", "we will be lucky to get more than one". They did receive another picture of her but they made us so paranoid to ask for more information about the child. Fast forward about 9 months later, we went to meet the child. It is heart breaking that her medical file did not match up to what they said. She has several medical issues, including a brain/genetic disorder. We could not move forward with the adoption. It was heart breaking that we were matched incorrectly. We contacted Daniel Nehrbass (President of Nightlight) and his response was so shallow, such a lack of empathy. If I could have recorded this. It is so sad that this company is not in it for the sake of the children, but more for the sake of profiting or having titles. PLEASE DO NOT USE NIGHTLIGHT! read more

We have been so blessed by our experience through Nightlight. This agency has gone above and beyond to help us, pray for us and make sure that we were equipped every step of the way. Our social worker Amanda was kind, supportive and encouraging. Our case worker Stephanie, who directly helped us with the country we adopted from, was beyond wonderful. She has become a dear friend as we've gone through the last 1 1/2 years of pursuing our daughter through adoption. The after care support, training and walking us through each step, was just what we needed for our first adoption. They made the process smooth and encouraged us completely along the way. It's unfortunate that people don't get their facts straight before posting. Nightlight is a reputable loving agency that cares for children and works hard to find orphaned children loving, forever families. The people at the agency are truly kind and caring and would never do some of the things listed in these posts. They are always ethical and have spent years to build a reputable agency. Thank God for these people and the work they do for children. read more

The hospital has tried to admit me countless times, but Nicole plays games only to ghost you. She only does her job when a third party contacts her about the concerns. No one was there to pick us up from the airport (imagine landing at 1 am in a foreign country where you don't speak the language!), and it was one big fiasco after another. After a few days there, I found that they did not even have a baby chosen for me so I spent a few days dealing with the government to try to find one. Then, after going to the orphanage and being interviewed for 4 hours, I was told that I couldn't meet her because she "had not been in the Russian system for the required 6 months". Still, I signed the paperwork to come back in a few weeks. During that time, the Mother reclaimed the baby. To make matters worse, the owner of Life Adoption then fired me for complaining about it all and I never got my money back. I took her to small claims court to try to recoup some of my money but they said her contracts said that she did not have to give me money back. Joan is totally unprofessional and should NOT be in the adoption business. HORRIBLE!!! I really hope no one else ever has to go through this. There are lots of professional organizations out there.

You can check with the better business bureau as we did for complaints. At that time there were none. Just to let you know that Russia is one of the scariest places to adopt. The country does not want any healthy babies to leave so the health records are often adjusted, if you know what I mean. It is possible to get stuck over there if the government decides that they are going to shut down things temporarily and you never know the costs of the health exam since it changes weekly. We were all very happy with how things were run. Thee was a driver that met us at the airport and he stayed with us for the seven days when we needed a ride and was such a sweetheart at the mall and held the baby for me. The interpreter met us at the hotel and we made plans for the remainder of the trip at dinner. We eventually got Visas for the girls and flew to Ufa to get them and visit the orphanages. We brought presents and things like bubble gum. It was very interesting. Everything was very organized as was the visit to the Mayors office and the lady that was the helper at the orphanage. We were driven to all places, the embassy, the visa place, the mayors, sight seeing, the doctors and in the end the orphanage for last minute details about how to care for the babies while they were in our care until we got home. We had been given a list of things to bring ahead of time. We also took with us from the mayors office a booklet about their heritage. When I left in the car for the airport to go to Moscow, my daughters nurse leaned into the car and asked permission to kiss her good bye. I felt the whole time that the care givers had an attachment with her. I don't know about the other orphanages. I do know that I felt it was very organized and we were in and out in seven days. It still feels like a dream to me all these years later. I did not feel that I could not trust the organization but it has been a long time. Everything is about how the people who work there care and want your trip to be run well. You should always check into the organization you are going to use. Ask for people who have gone through them etc. I also hired a professional researcher to find out about my daughters background since Russia gives you very little of anything. Pam Bucci

The inside of the piping was corroded and needed to be repaired. From the moment Sean and his team came out, they were professional, honest, and easy to work with. They took the time to explain exactly what was happening and even used a camera to show me the condition of the pipes, which made everything very clear. There was no vague explanations, just straightforward information and transparency. Sean was wonderful throughout the entire process. He kept me informed every step of the way and made sure everything was handled properly. Jorge and his teammate came out to resurface the pipe, and another technician completed the epoxy lining. They later sent me a video of the finished work, and the difference was night and day. It was a significant investment, but it was absolutely necessary, and I'm glad I chose this company. They also stand behind their work with a 10-year warranty on the epoxy and a 2-year warranty if anything gets stuck, which gave me a lot of confidence. This company genuinely operates with integrity. I never felt pressured or taken advantage of, which is rare compared to some of the larger plumbing companies out there.....not naming names *Mike Diamond* Anyways, if you're dealing with plumbing issues and want it done right the first time, I highly recommend them. A mom checked out a milkmaid costume for her daughter or herself presumably, & I'm not sure she understood the type of milk maid labor this costume implied. Salvation Army, these were not Halloween costumes or costumes suitable for kids; these were spicy night costumes--the kind that are not meant to be worn for most of the night. 5 stars for bizarre amusement in adult slumber party costume merchandise form. Nothing quite like the ideal attire for a special hoe-ccasion.

We visited several adoption agencies and even began the process with a different agency but then we found Nightlight. Their love and care for prospective birthfamilies blessed us so we quickly switched to their agency. It was extremely important to our family that great care and love was poured into our children's birthfamily. We have adopted 5 times domestically and 2 times internationally through NCA. With each adoption, Nightlight and their staff has done an incredible job helping us through the process. They have been supportive and proactive on our behalf. As we navigated through our international adoptions, NCA and their staff were once again extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Starting our family seemed hopeless until we contacted Nightlight. We now have a beautiful 3 month old little girl. We would not have been able to get through this adoption process without our case worker. Don't let "case worker" scare you off. This lady has become one of our dearest friends. She advocated for us, answered tough questions, kept us on track and supported us. There were no surprises because we weren't afraid to be open and honest. This was one of the biggest decisions of our lives. We worked with both the Oklahoma and Missouri offices and the staff at each office was amazing. We not only have an amazing relationship with our birth mom, we have a support group for life! They DO NOT pressure the adoptive family or expectant mom to do anything that makes them uncomfortable. terrible situation made worse by this organization. Notice every bad review is responded by the same person saying not true. yes it is true they are terrible to the whole family of babies. it's all about the money for them. I come from a very reputable family of Christian's pastors of churches all over the area so far from a criminal but that's the way they treat the family of the baby. The bio mom the dad grandparents everybody requested a local family and the baby got sent across the country. need to take out Christian and insert satanic because these people are doing the work of the enemy. I will never ever recommend them to anyone. If you call them they yell at you n put you down and threaten to take you to court just for asking for information In a calm respectful way. Terrible terrible people. This isn't a car it's a baby and moving this baby across the country isn't what was best for this baby read more

What a blessing that an organization such as Nightlight Christian Adoptions exist in our broken world today. In my experience dealing with this amazing group of people, I have never seen a more above-board operation then I have seen here. Compassionate, honest, caring, faithful, law-abiding, and sincere are words that only scrape the surface of what this agency represents. There are people who hate the idea of adoption and if the world wasn't broken we wouldn't need it; but I'm glad that in a world troubled by unfortunate mistakes, this agency stands to represent and place those most affected, the innocents. We were blessed to work with NightLight's Snowflake Adoption Program all the way from Canada! From the very beginning we were amazed and truly thankful for the amount of support, guidance and care shown by the staff. All of our questions were answered in a timely fashion, and they continue to support us today, 7 months after our son was born! We anticipated some issues shipping embryos across the border and thankfully NightLight handled everything with ease. The utmost care and compassion was shown towards our tiny, frozen babies. I cannot write enough good things about Nightlight and their Snowflakes embryo adoption program. My husand and I adopted embryos through the Snowflakes program and had a wonderful experience. They were very thorough, responsive, compassionate and helped us throughout the entire process. They were also flexible and wanted to make sure we were comfortable with every step of the process which was very much appreciated. Nightlight Christian Adoptions program, called Snowflakes, allows parents with left over frozen embryos to donate them to be adopted by an infertile couple. We listed what kind of family we wanted for the little embryos, and Nightlight respected our Christian faith and only sent us profiles of families who fit the criteria we set forth. A beautful family adopted ours. If you have left over embryos, please don't discard them. Give them a chance at life. We are pro-life, and we believe this is the best way to honor God who honored our desire to have a family through IVF. read more

Nightlight's Embryo Adoption program was a God-send to us. Having completed our family via traditional adoption and IVF, we were left with a quandary - being pro-life, what was to become of our genetic babies left in a frozen embryo state. These people are very deceitful. They will promise you a referral of a internationally adopted baby, and then literally refer you a 15 year old to adopt after you waited for a baby for 4 years. Don't trust a word they say. These Narcissists have not earned trust. Their supposed "waiting" children profiles are lies as well. Those kids don't need to be adopted - just false marketing. read more

You can access unwanted embryos from most infertility agencies without paying this bunch of money for homestudy and all. Just another money grab from those of us who are plagued with infertility. Please don't buy into this and ask your local infertility centers for information. read more
