My break lights were stuck on and draining the battery, I thought it might be the switch, Daniel said it was just the switch gasket came loose, replaced the gasket and only charge me for the labor finished in less than a hour! Scammed by the auto techs here. They tell you one thing then it's always another issues aises. Had an oil change, got home it was leaking bad. Took it back then they said your oil gasket needs replaced due to wear and tear. My car is an 2021 Chevy Malibu so there's no way it needed one so fast. Wanted to charge me $1000. I complained and they basically threatened me with violence. Took it to Chevy dealer and they said all it was a loose oil filter! read more

I would give them negative stars if I could. Worst customer service. Overcharged me for a smog test and cashier couldn't return the money for debit and manager did nothing. The mechanic was more helpful and understanding than the useless cashier and stingy manager. Being a girl and needed anything for your car can be intimidating. I've had people try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge a few times. Went here for a smog test and Rod helped me and made me feel very comfortable. Really nice guy. I called and asked about the price and when I showed up he told me the same price, and I didn't even tell him I called. Will probably go back for other needs. The head mechanic, Collin has been repairing my car for many years. He's always been very nice and does a good job at a fair price. The main problem is that he's the only one there and must accept simple jobs (i.e. tune-ups, oil changes, etc) with quick turn-over. When he is unable to repair something, he honestly admits it, and provides excellent referrals. I only wish that he had a support staff, and could offer more extensive repair services. We need capable, honest, reasonably-priced mechanics in the Laguna area. read more

My dad goes here and told me to go here, big mistake. I took my old red 94' Acura here in 2006 and they told me I need to change a coolant hose, cause' it was ballooning? They can't change a coolant hose properly. They replaced the hose with an incorrect sized hose. Guess what... All my coolant leaked out two weeks later. I didn't realize my engine temp was rising until it was too late. Ended up blowing a head-gasket. I told the dude with the pony-tail that worked on my car about what happened...he shrugged and told me I need to keep a better eye on my cars temp. Went to the Dentist this am, in the same center as this Mobil station. Came out and tried to start my 2014 Highlander. Only a clicking sound and a warning that the car was overheated ? Strange as I had only driven one mile to the dentist office. Called the Toyota dealer and asked the service guy what it could be. He said just tow it in here and we will diagnose it. Could be a rat chewed wire or other electronic issue. The Mobil station was closed for some repairs, so I walked home and contemplated what to do. After I had some lunch I called the Mobil station to see if they were open yet. I got Collin on the phone and he said he would be happy to have a look at it. Went back to the center and met Collin. He grabbed a portable jumper and we went to have a look. I tried to start it again and no luck just clicking and the same warning. Collin hooked up the jumper and It started right up :) You need a new battery he said. I agreed and asked if he had one. After checking stock, he was sold out of that particular battery. He referred me to Costco or Pep Boys. When I asked Collin what I owed him, he said nothing. This is the kind of service I Remember from my childhood. A very rare thing these days. Collin not only got me running again but saved me all the hassle of towing to the dealer and paying big bucks for diagnostics and who knows what else. Laguna Niguel Mobil is a Class act.. read more

Been taking our cars here for servicing and repairs for years. So far so good. While it may be cheaper to get oil changes at other places, we give them the business because when it comes time for repairs, they do a good job and their prices seem reasonable and more importantly we trust them. They never try to talk us into do any unnecessary repairs or maintenance, so they have been very honest with us. When we still had our car warranties and went to the dealership, they always try to talk us into getting something else done. They never let us leave without spending some extra money - new battery, new coolant, new fan belt, etc. That's why we stick with Laguna Niguel Mobile. read more

This place is unbelievable! The cashiers are so friendly and the mechanics are Real mechanics. I was shocked that when I took my car in and said the dealer told me that I needed $2700 worth of work, this mechanic Colin said I needed only 197.68 worth! I will return and tell all my friends and co-workers about this place! Terrible terrible terrible! What I thought was a legitimate place to take my car for the last 4 years, ended up biting me in the butt. When I would get my oil changed here every couple months, they would also do a full diagnostic test, tire rotation, all that jazz. Because I trusted them, I would say "okay" with whatever needed to be taken care of. Big mistake. After showing up twice for an appointment, and having the mechanic call out sick without even giving me a courtesy call, I decided to go to mission auto services (given their 5 stars on yelp). Well, come to find out the air filters I have paid for were never actually done, alignment and tire rotations were never done like I paid for, and I have a huge leak that has supposedly been there for over a year that they failed to mention. I'm now having to pay for things on my car that should have been fixed years ago, and now they've become an even bigger problem. I'm very disappointed because the guys are nice, just not good mechanics. read more
