Communication was poor and we never knew when and if he was coming. He would often not show when he said he would be there. He works hard but mainly does the work himself (we are assuming to save money) That said, on the day of the pour, it was windy and hot and he didnt have the help he needed, so the quality of work and the color we were supposed to achieve suffered. In an attempt to fix the color, he rolled stain/sealant over the top in spots so now it is splotchy and you see roller marks. He told us the color will change and get better over time and it has not changed over the last several months. There are dips and chips along with the lack of color we wanted and a few other things that need fixing. He told us he would fix them and to call with any issues, but now that we paid him, he will not answer our calls or text messages. His gift of gab made us feel like he was almost a friend and we worked with him and tried to be flexible and patient but what was supposed to be done in days took many weeks, with his one man show and juggling too many projects at once. We thought we could trust him but found out we were wrong. Lesson learned. Go with a reputable company... Worth paying a little more.

They took down popcorn ceilings and left lots of places where the ceiling looked horrible. When they came back, they fixed some of those places, but didn't do the second coat of paint that every other painter has said was needed. Dave did return and do some touch ups to the ceiling, but to make it look finished, I've been putting an additional coat on the ceiling myself. I've also been working on the sheet rock repair to make it less noticeable. Not a fan.
