Alex, not only helps me heal physically, he has also helped me heal emotionally by explaining what I am going through. He is also a good listener. I paid almost $300 for an initial assessment. I waited painfully in the waiting room seeing the staff talking amongst themselves while they were doing treatments. One staff member was using the patient machines. My assigned physical therapist finally came to greet me 20 minutes after my appointment start time. He looked me over for about 5 minutes then put me onto exercises. The whole time I was doing them, he was talking personal patient information with another staff member right in front of me. He wandered around chattering with the other staff. Not paying any attention to me to see if I was doing my exercises correctly or needed guidance. Even while he was massaging my back I could see him gesturing to another staff member while I was talking to him. I paid good money to come get one on one care to improve my acute back pain, to only receive the complete opposite. I ended up canceling all my future appointments to go to a different facility. The receptionist was so kind when I called to cancel that I didn't have the heart to tell her the real reason I didn't want to return. I was going to let it be. Then I received an additional bill stating I owed more money for that absolutely terrible assessment! I couldn't believe it. It saddens me to see that this is an acceptable level of care and service at this facility by licensed practitioners. I hope the managers see this and try to improve for any future pain suffers that may come to your facility.

From 2 weeks before 1st visit to 18 visits over the past 5 weeks we were "waiting" for their business office to get the prior auth, so they had us pay the cash-pay rate. They have yet to even request a prior Auth from insurance, have yet to return any of the 10 calls with messages (live person taking message, entering "ticket" and saying "someone will call you back today"). Zero calls back from billing business office. Zero calls back from clinic director or leadership. They lied. Misrepresented to the patient that they would get the prior Auth. They never even tried. Insurance has verified repeatedly that it was never even attempted.

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.

Been coming here every so often over recent years for a variety of issuse from ankle, to lower back…read moreto neck issues and have always experienced great care from their physical therapists and it remains a place I recommend for injury rehab and education regardless if you are a pro athlete, a weekend warrior, or a regular joe injured on the job or doing everyday activities. Not only are they skilled to help, but they asdo do care. But that also means that there aren't sometimes issues that need attention or rectifying. The lost star from this visit is becasue of certain assumptions made during my visit. It is common fore your therapist here, when applying cups or needles as a therapudic tool, will walk away and work on others. Sometimes they dont return and another care professional will finish up. On this case, that was what happened and I was just handed some papers showing after care execises to do at home. The problem was, there was no communication as to the purpose of each or demonstartions. Because they know me, there was an assumption that I know what to do at home. Although a picture and description is helpful, it is very easy to do things wrong making it ineffective to the intent or in such a way to cause undesired pain or fatigue. So always ask, if it is your first time with a new exercise or you are addressing a different issue from the last time, ask for a demonstration before you leave. They have offered an opportunity to come in and go over those exercises as part of my last appointment. Transparency, this is an edited review. Other issues involving a new person at the front desk were resolved after one of the owners called me personally to better understand issues I had. That is being resolve with both Training and any other type of customer support notification. And the fact I was called, vs. a canned written response on yelp, shows that they care and further supports my positive recommendation.
