Nikki's salon is clean and inviting when you walk in. Nikki and her mom, Zara, greeted me and explained the eyebrow procedure. Zara took a lot of time to make sure everything looked perfect. Been going to Nikki to get my brows done for YEARSSS. She takes her time making sure my brows are shaped exactly like what I wanted. She truly just want to make her client as beautiful as possible! Nikki will hook you up! I might be there for a quick 10-15mins, but During that short period the Beauty tips I get from her is worth watching 4 YouTube videos. I'm a regular customer of Nikki's for about 4 years now. She's my go-to person for eyebrows and upper lip threading. The best thing I like about her is she's super fast with threading (eyebrows and upper lip under 10 mins) and before you feel the slight pinch of discomfort you're already done. I don't like people who take longer for threading as we all know it hurts really bad. She rubs aloe gel after she's done so its nice and cool later. As pointed out by other reviewers her mom is obviously super skilled. I personally felt she took a bit longer than Nikki usually does, but she did a great job at that. read more

I am writing this review after two months. My hair is still look great. I have gone to this place twice. They have done great job on my hair with half the price charged at Visible changes. The owner and her mother are very polite and they try their best to keep their customers happy. The place is very simple and lack luster of most beauty salon but if you pass the decor, you will find your experience a pleasure one. If you have not tried this place, I suggest you do. read more

This review is strictly for their eyebrows. I have not tried anything else here. This is like Ayesha's in Hillcroft except I don't have to drive that far. They do both threading and waxing, I usually get my eyebrows waxed and then the clean up is with threading. All for just $7! I am somewhat of a Goodwill thrifting junkie, so it helps that this place is right next to one. The ladies are nice, albeit not very chatty. They are really fast and I am usually out of the place within 10-15 minutes. I know they offer other services too, but I've never tried them out. This is my go to place for eyebrows though. I have been going to Nikki's for over 15 years! She is an eyebrow goddess. I will never trust anyone else to create the perfect brow. Her staff is pleasant and not "chatty" which I love. Worst customer service, I have tried all their servies. They take you for granted if you are an Indo / Pak / Asian origin. Examples: 1) I got my facial done after 'Niki' the owner had her lunch. I could smell great biriyani when she was applying creams on my face. 2) For my waxing, while I expect some time for me to get into the waxing dress, she opens the door as and when she wants to and comes in goes out. Very unprofessional and she thinks she has the rights to invade your privacy because anyways you are gonna show your body for her to wax. 3) All people working at this place speak in their native language pointing at you . I am ok they do not have to speak in English among themselves, but it is not ok pointing at me - looking at me and talking in native language - doesnt make me feel good at their facility. One good thing is they are very good for eyebrow threading - quick and clean. I got my hair color done once - It was not great but ok. read more

Thank God. Finally a hair stylist who knows what she is doing. I have been in Houston for 6 months coming from NY. I couldn't find anyone who can do hair. It was a baffle to me. I came to this salon to get my eyebrows threaded and met Maryam and found her! Not only did she make my eyebrows look fantastic she also took care of my hair. Mariam does not do a good job at coloring hair at all. She totally messed up my hair & would not recommend it. I wanted a balayage but came out with horrible hair. Worst experience ever. Came out with fried & dried hair. Total cost was $190 which was not worth it at all. Had to go to another salon to get it fix. Which cost me more. read more

I've been to numerous eyebrow waxing and threading salons but they have all butchered my eyebrows. I'm on the process of growing my eyebrows out due to the abuse it has been thru. They listened to exactly what I had to say. I Told them how I wanted my eyebrows to grow back into and what shape I'm going for. They cleaned my eyebrows just so. I called this place asking for Nikki, the lady who answered the phone told me she was Nikki and I could go to her. I told that she didn't sound like Nikki since I knew Nikki over 10 years. She kept insisting that she is Nikki, and when I said no thank you, and hang up the phone. She phone me back after ten minutes and told me that Nikki is no longer working there and she is the new owner. She will give me discounts if I go to her salon. This was very disappointing for me because I have been Nikki's customer for over 10 years and this lady was just giving me the wrong Information just to get me to her shop, even though Nikki was clearly not there. read more

Worst Customer service! I got keratin treatment here for double the amount charged outside, she mixed the product inside another room(meant to be coppola), so I dont know what she used, dint last even a month inspite of using the coppola shampoo & C, but for another next to me, she was using a new bottle of Coppola. I had also booked the appt a week before with the lady I preferred, but on the day of appointment, she was doing someone else's hair and sent an inexperienced lady to do my hair. Unfair treatment to other ethnicities. I will never step foot into this place. read more
