I have read all the reviews and decided to see for myself. I went to their shop for a paint…read moreestimate and found a full-sized paint booth. I saw various projects in the different stages of the paint process, so it was easy to see how work was performed. Old cars with rust/rot damage take time to repair and usually cost more to repair than expected. I know this after having 2 other classic cars restored by other shops. Restoration work is not cheap or fast. I was given an estimate on the repairs, and I approved the work, so I knew what I was getting into. Once work commenced, I was given updates on the vehicle as new unforeseen issues were discovered and the costs involved. Some of the vehicle's parts needed replacement as the project continued and some of those parts were defective, which was not Texoma Classics' fault, it was a manufacturer issue. Texoma Classics cannot warranty parts as they do not make the replacement parts, which I understood. That has been the case at every other shop I have had work done at, so no difference there. The paint came out beautiful and reassembly started. Again, during the process I was informed of the progress and any issues that came up (which there were) they worked through it with me. The vehicle was completed even though it took longer than expected and cost a little more, but that was due to the extensive damage to a 50-year-old car. I am happy with the result and the finished vehicle. Everybody has a different experience or perspective, so don't believe everything you read online or in a review. All in all, a very good experience at Texoma Classics. Alan B.

Liar! Do not waste your time with liar! Fking ridiculous…read moreexperience ever! on Wednesday, We dropped our model Y for window tint, and they promised that we can have our car back on Friday. I have to work on weekends, told them we can pick up car anytime but weekends. They said no worries that the car probably got done early Friday, no later than 6pm. OK perfect. Since we are the repeat customers, we trust them. We drove all the way from Arlington just for supporting his business, also paid full payments at beginning tips 15% on the top. On Friday @ 4:50p. We got his ADVISED message that the windshield is too dark to drive at night time, they will release us on Saturday 10:30. Sir! I told you I need my car on Friday! I gotta go work on Saturday. You couldn't give customers whenever the time you would like to release. There was also funny thing happened. Once they sent out us this message. This mother fxxker never picked up the phone. We were in the front of his shop for two hours. we can heard someone's walking inside of shop, but they didn't open gate for us. we even called police helped us. This lair still ignored our call and message. FUNNY AS FFFFFFUCK! On Saturday morning, we received a message that they stated our car is ready to pick up. Alright. My husband and my daddy drove another one hour to Roanoke. Let me tell you the other funny thing. Our old window tint was still on the window. Which means this lair didn't touch my car. Listen, we are not unreasonable people. You should told us the truth instead of cheating your repeated customers. You lost your honesty you definitely will loose your business!

WOW! Best place and service. Couldn't ask for better. This was worth the drive…read more I reached out through here, yelp. The conversation was helpful and easy - everything was listed material and price. I even received a discount! I was a little overwhelmed as I do not know what will look good. I was told not to worried and there will be examples to look at when in the shop. It was in fact superb easy! The process took almost 3.5-4 hours as told. I waited inside. They provided Wi-Fi and even some beverages which is so nice of them. Thank you for the tape as it is a reminder not to open the windows. This place really speaks volume, from making an appointment to getting the project done. I love it. You guys are awesome!

I was looking for a shop to tint my car windows and JR's came highly recommended from a buddy who…read morehad also gotten the same service done on his vehicle. At the $139 price tag I honestly had some concerns, but with the Texas summer quickly approaching I gave it a go. I was advised to go early so I wouldn't have to wait too long so I got in around 10am. I was shown the different options of tint and was even given the choice of choosing the not so legal variety. I had some of that foggy film on my windows that I forgot to wash off, but they said it wouldn't be an issue as they clean it off before applying the tint. I was told to come back in 2 hours and when I did I could barely recognize my car with the new tint. Upon closer inspection the job was really well done so much so that my buddy that drove me there, Albert N., set up an appointment to get his windows tinted at that moment. JR's does a lot more than just tint (they advertise on rims, audio and just about anything else automotive you can think of) and with the courteous and professional people there I can't see how you can go wrong here.

Of all the automotive experiences I have had, this ranks as among the worst. Today, I took my 2025…read moreVW ID.Buzz and asked the older guy at the front desk if they could add side steps/running boards for safety reasons. Instead of advice on running boards he immediately went into a long sermon about MAGA politics. The front desk guy (not JR, to be fair) right away said how much he dislikes electric vehicles ("What you gonna do with them batteries one day..."). Also said he wasn't aware that VW still made the microbuses. I said mine is right out there and he sneered and said, "kinda hard to miss, ain't it." Things went downhill from there as he started in with his criticisms of government from an extremist Maga viewpoint, that windmill blades are running the planet ("Them Chinese melt down the old blades and dump them in the ocean), how the past presidents have let all of "those people," and so much more. No real help and loads of insults. My advice: look elsewhere for your retrofit needs.
