    Love dinner plate excellent!

Excellent place! I highly recommend this place. It's on the back of a gas station, but you don't smell gas or car smoke. It's very clean. There are families and groups of women dining so friendly and comfortable place. Bathroom was clean. They're very popular for take out, but there is a great seating area. I ordered the calf liver. It was delicious! So soft and tender and seasoned well. It came with rice and bulgar and salad. Look forward to trying something else next time.

This was such a surprise-The restaurant in behind a gas station-The server was very nice and the food very very good! They baked their own bread!

Small hole in wall off of the side of a gas station. Very good and fresh food. We had the lentil soup which was blended and creamy but no texture of lentils. The small garden salad with skewered. Chicken was huge and had tons of great veggies cut up and added in. The bread was super fresh and warm. Service was a tad slow as they do a huge take out business so the waitress was a bit busy. They do take credit card and parking is few as it shares a few spaces with gas station and residential renters in the top of the building.

If this place doesn't satisfy your need to feel exclusive, nothing will. Here we have a quality, family run Turkish restaurant that's hidden in the back of a Valero gas station. F'ing rad dude Wanted to try everything on this wonderfully simple, reasonably priced menu - but I went with the the Adana Kabab - needless to say, it was amazing.

My friend Greg orders catering for 20 for a party and at his place and it was phenomenal! The order for 20 could have fed a lot more! The dips were flavorful and varied. The meats all were cooked well and were great rolled up on some pita and some sauce. To say the very least I was stuffed and kept going back for a bit more. I don't live in CT but would highly recommend stopping in for anyone passing through.

This place is honestly a hidden gem of a restaurant; located in Bridgeport with a shared parking lot to a gas station, so the location is a little odd- but trust me their food is bomb!! Excellent grilled meats (I highly recommend getting the mixed grill plate!!), delicious rice, yummy french fries, small side salad, and of course delicious lamb/chicken/whatever meat they have in a shawarma style wrap. Love their cucumber yogurt sauce (similar to tzatziki, but different bc it's a Turkish restaurant. It's called Cacik). Good service. Nice staff. Small restaurant space for eating in, but you can eat there in a party of 4 or less. Their take out is always good, delicious and fresh. Ooh! Also they have delicious baklava too! My family orders from here often!! I highly recommend this restaurant when you're in the mood for some fresh and delicious Turkish food.

    Churrasco..such a great dish.

I've been here a few years ago and decided to return for lunch. The location is odd and the restaurant is a bit run down but I remember the food was good. This time we ordered 2 apps. Stuffed eggplant and Falafel. They were ok but I wouldn't order again. The Falafels were tiny and the eggplant was a cold app which was fine but it had a bunch of oil under it. The bread and lentil soup were good. For my entree I ordered the Churrasco which was delicious. The steak has great flavor. Their rice and French fries are so so yummy. It's a great portion with lots of veggies. Our server was great.

Delicious! This hole in the wall style restaurant is a gem in the area. It's nestled behind a gas station, and is deceivingly great. Prices are exceptional given the amount of food you receive. A simple appetizer salad is enough for two people. You can tell everything is made fresh.

This food was so good! I ordered take out and it was ready in 15 minutes. The dip came with thick warm bread. I also ordered some beef kofte with the salad and it was well flavored and cooked. Everything was delicious.

    Homemade knafeh and pistachio ice-cream

Excellent grilled baby lamb chop! Authentic knafeh!! Amazing restaurant!!! Exceeding expectations as a highway stop.

The restaurant was extremely clean. The employee who helped us, perhaps the owner was very friendly. We asked about the difference between a pita and a lavash. He explained this nicely. I also asked about what was in the special red and white sauce. I appreciate he took the time to answer my questions. The food was delicious and the customer service was outstanding. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

From a creative idea it quickly became a dish available in the cities and towns of the Netherlands. Eventually it crossed the borders of Europe, and now available in Bridgeport CT. My wife and I are originally from the Netherlands, or as we say Holland, and familiar with 'kapsalon.' So we didn't wait any longer and made our way to WoW Kebab & Gyros. The restaurant is located at the corner, and we parked on the street. We walked in, and I was hoping to meet somebody with a connection with Holland. It's always good to meet people from the homeland. Hassan greeted me, and we started talking. No connection with Holland, but with other countries in Europe. And because 'kapsalon' had arrived in Berlin, Hassan knew about it and brought it to the US of A. While Isak, prepared our meal (hope I wrote his name right). Hassan and I talked about life, and other stuff cool people talk about. When he however showed me and had me taste the sambal sauce (a spicy chilly originated in Indonesia) and his garlic sauce, my heart skipped a beat. YES! Finally! Oh, man did I long for this. Hassan I'm forever grateful you decided to come to Bridgeport (Yeah, I know Black Rock). Eventually the 'kapsalon' was ready to go. We said our goodbyes. I think I left Hassan with a little anxiety when I told him I'm going to review them in Yelp. Any how we came home and got ready to eat 'kapsalon.' (A moment of silence) Hassan, Isak... thank you, thank you for bringing home a little bit closer. The 'kapsalon' was great! We will meet again, and I will bring friends to experience a taste of Rotterdam in Bridgeport/Black Rock almost Fairfield. We wish you the best, and that WoW Kebap & Gyros will become a staple in our town, and who knows even will cross State borders in the US of A. teşekkür ederim arkadaşım/bedankt vriend
