I have been a customer since 2022 when I purchased a new traverse. In 2023 I purchased a new silverado. I had great service reps, but there's a very poor quality of customer service. I took my vehicle in to be serviced in September 2025 had to wait 2 weeks on the loaner waiting list. When I got my truck back the oil light came on again in October they mechanics said they could not keep repairing this same problem and would have to talk to GMC headquarters about it, well now all of a sudden, the truck is ready with only a little amount of oil problem and they recommended that I drive it, but the issue is not resolved because its a small amount of oil still where it should not be. I brought my car here for preventative maintenance, 11/15 I wasn't having any issues. My brakes and my engine were serviced by Tanner Zody. As soon as I picked up my vehicle, the brakes stiffened up and my check engine light came on. My repair ticket showed no recommended services. I took my vehicle back today and now I'm being told that I need to pay close to $500 for a pump related to my braking system and my advisor Ricky is trying to convince me that this is not related to servicing the brakes, it's just a coincidence. I also had my entire braking system redone last year. If there was an issue present, I would've been told on Saturday. I wasn't told because you created it. I will never bring my vehicle back here. The quality of the autobody repair at this dealership is a horrible mess. They had my 2019 GMC for 2 months and could not complete the job that they were contracted to do via GEICO. The clear coat paint job has finger prints and trash in the top coat, they failed to pin stripe the truck on the right hand side from the front fender to the rear tail light and the customer service personal are ignorant rude and misleading employees. It appears at this point that my only recourse is a class action law suit for damages and failure to honor their "SO CALLED" guarantee on workmanship for as long as I own my vehicle. read more

My last service visit was a disaster. I brought it in for very specific things. I had to wait weeks just to get an appointment. The first was a warning light on my dashboard. I couldn't read it with a standard code reader so reluctantly I brought it in. They charged me $180 Just to read the code. To plug in a reader and tell me the code, what, about 5 seconds? $180. This is why people don't go to dealerships. Then they wanted $850 on top of that to replace a sensor. A quick check online showed that the sensor could be bought for $25. It was clearly accessible and it took me less than 10 minutes to unscrew the one screw unplug it and plug the new one in and put the screw back on. $25 for something they wanted to charge me $800+ for. Next, a coolant leak. I am adding about a pint of coolant a week, I can see dried coolant stains under the vehicle, but it's not leaving a puddle, so i asked them to check it. They responded that there was no leak. The coolant reservoir was full. Of course it is, I have to keep adding it. Another waste of my time. I asked them to find out why my "Service 4WD" message keeps coming on. They gave me a list of about five codes that were showing up related to the four-wheel-drive system. This I knew. What did they do about it? Told me that they drove it around in four-wheel-drive and the message wouldn't come on. That's what codes are for. It's an intermittent issue, that's why it stores the codes to tell you how to fix it. They couldn't be bothered. Said it "has to be doing it at the time to fix it". Another waste of my time. Then a routine maintenance item, a transmission fluid service. They charged me almost $400 which I knew going in, but wow. Price some other area mechanics for this and see how much they charge. Probably not even half that. But I brought it in because I needed these other things done, which didn't get done. Lastly, I asked them to grease all the fittings under the vehicle that are called for to be done every other oil change. I change the oil myself, but it is difficult to access these points without it being on a lift. It is a Chevrolet vehicle, it's a Chevrolet service department, and know what they told me? They don't have a grease gun in their service department. LITERALLY THEY DO NOT HAVE A GREASE GUN IN THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. The reason was that vehicles don't need it anymore. I asked them to check the steering and suspension, honestly I don't even feel like this was done. I have no confidence that they even checked. But what they DID do, was tell me that I needed a part replaced in my air-conditioning system. Which is functioning absolutely fine. And they wanted almost $1000 to replace this part. I never even asked them to check the air conditioning system. What's more, I have done all the work myself on that truck since I bought it new twenty years ago. What I can tell you is that I am absolutely certain in every meaning of the word that there was not neon colored Freon splashed all over the high-pressure port of my air conditioning line under the hood when I brought it in. Further to that, the reason my engine bay is so clean is because the engine on all of my vehicles gets washed with the rest of the car with high-pressure every other time I wash the rest of the vehicle. The fact that it came back with Freon splashed all around the area you told me I needed to replace and being 150% certain that it wasn't there when I brought it in (as I am under the hood replenishing the coolant every week that you told me isn't leaking) was the final straw for me. I definitely won't be back. An automobile service department that doesn't have a grease gun. I can't even make this up. They are great at charging a lot of money to do what a quick lube place does (sans grease gun) or charging you to plug something in to tell you a code, and pointing out problems you don't have, but if you need something done, they aren't equipped for it. I took my car in on 12/16. They advised me that the thermostat had gone bad and while that was covered under warranty they recommended a coolant flush to get the air out when they did the swap. I agreed to this at the $149.99 price as well as some other regularly scheduled maintenance. I picked up the car on 12/18 and drove it expecting all was right. While driving I found my washer fluid was no longer coming out. I assumed it was empty of fluid. I had some washer fluid delivered the next day and went to fill it. This meant the car was cold. I checked and found the washer fluid was full. The washer fluid reservoir is right next to the coolant reservoir and to my surprise after paying $150 for a flush to make sure it was full - it was empty. I took it back on 12/22. I was told they never worked near the washer fluid pump - it's right under the reservoir - so they couldn't have caused that so I had to pay for that. They also said the coolant is full. Well either you didn't do the job I paid $150 for or you lied or you are just stupid. No matter which, I'm taking it back Monday, getting a manager, and providing the the pages from the repair manual showing that they either lied about doing the flush or they lied about not working on that side of the car. read more

I arrived 20mins early to my appointment when arrived I sat there for 10mins while I waited to see a worker. Cars were in front of me and then rolling in beside me with people in them. Finally one came to my window and asked me if I have been helped... I said no then she said sorry let me go do something and I will be right back. She never came back. 5mins after that a different lady checks me in and starts the process. I had my car photographed to make sure it came back to my procession the same way I dropped it off. thanks They asked why the car was dropped off I said oil change. They never asked me about any of the other service requests that I have covered on my car... I simply scheduled for an oil change and that's it. 2 & half hours later I got my car. I was NEVER asked if I needed a ride home or a loaner or anything. Come to find out the reason why it took so long was bc they decided to do my other warranty maintance on my car. So the oil, the car detailing on the inside and outside got done, plus the color protector and the wax. I sweated my butt off the day prior cleaning it inside and outside... so that extra wait time made me so upset... Plus They didn't ask if I wanted my other maintenance services done. I asked for just oil ...nor warned me how long it was going to take. Plus here's the biggest reason why I am upset and even called the office manager that day after I got home...(which I never got a call back from I gave her my name and number ). I had a 3 year old child with me. And thank God he's a good boy and I listened to my gut and brought him a lunch. A 3 year old should not be up at a dealership or auto place for 2 &half hours. I didn't hide the kid... everyone saw him and not once let me know of when the car would be done or what services were being done or asked if I needed a loaner or a ride home. Or said sorry to me when I told them I was starving and it was nap time and that I needed to leave to get things done before my other child got out of school.....I will not do this again. This totally backed up my whole day. All I wanted was an oil change done so my sexy husband didn't have to do it on my new car like he did with my old car. It was mostly for my husband to be able to take a break from physically doing the maintenance . But killed me and my 3 yr old being up there... is that the point? To hate your warranty services on your car so you won't bring the cars up to the dealer and wait all day? I purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Impala LTZ and I must say the car has been running well but the paint on the hood of my car is fading. I took it back to them to see if they could assist me in getting this issue fix. They came up with a solution that I get it repainted which would require me to pay the cheapest of 800 and something dollars. I don't think that is right! When you purchase a fairly new car you expecting to pay for oil changing or minor malfunctioning of the car. You're not expecting to be paying for the body of the car unless you have been in a accident which I haven't. That defeated the purpose of me having the first place finish in my package if the paint was gone fade. I must say I'll never buy a car from this place again! I bought a new 2019 Chevrolet Blazer. I love the SUV. There is a recall for a part that attaches to the rear bumper (mine fell off). I called Nimnicht and told them why I was calling. They made an appointment and when I arrived I was escorted to the lobby. 10 minutes later my name was called and I was told the part wasn't available. I've called back twice only to be told "no one is answering in the parts department." I was told I would get a call back by the end of the next day. I'm still waiting for those calls. I also texted my salesman (Greg Allen) twice with no response. I love my car, but the appearance of my back bumper makes it look terrible. Argh! read more

They will tack service contracts on your loan and act like that is something they are giving you when in all actuality you are paying for it in your loan! Took my truck to nimnicht to get it fixed because the alternator was bad. They told me that its wasn't the alternator its was my battery. So I purchase a new battery and they put in never tested the alternator and told me that it work fine. I ask if the tested and his response it was its your battery. He continued to tell me that they are in the business of making money so if it was your alternator they would fix it. The paperwork didn't state that the check anything. So I made them put it on the paperwork. So I took my truck to another dealership because I was having the same problem and was told that it's the alternator. And I have spent over $350.00 that included a new battery plus nimnicht fee to have the same issue. Long story short get it in writing like a did. The sad part is that the alternator under warranty. I would never recommend taking your vehicle here for service, I have had 2 appointments now to fix a recall on my car and both times they were ill prepared and unable to complete the work. Today I had an appointment at 8:30, was there early, got my car checked in and went to the waiting area. At 10:30 ( TWO whole hours later) I walked over to the service area to get a status, I was told there were 7 other cars in front of mine & she asked me if I wanted my car back to make another appointment for a different time and day. Terrible service department. Wasted my time going here, dealing with Ben Simpson was a nightmare, he could care less about the customers and it shows. The service manager Doogie was even worse. Was ignored by both after many phone calls and a wasted day of an appointment. Waiting over a month All over a simple electric switch for my conversion van, which has a full warranty, which seems useless as they just refuse to answer me and fix the problem. After multiple days working with sales to lease a new car, after filling out a credit application to get accurate pricing, after SEVERAL conversations back and forth with my sales advisor, in which I confirmed the exact model and was told exactly what my lease payments would be, I was screwed around like they thought I'm some idiot. I literally said to my service advisor "before I come in, I don't want to waste either of our time" and confirmed model, pricing, etc. Well waste my time is exactly what they did. Firstly when I came in, the service advisor I'd been working with wasn't available. After I had texted him 10 min before arriving and he said "Perfect" Then I was taken and shown a car I wasn't interested in. Then I had to wait and wait and wait even though I told them I had to get to work (I gave them an hour) and still didn't have an answer about the car I wanted. The best part of my experience today with this place was the Lyft driver they called for me. The people were in interested in being helpful in any way...I made an appointment to have the oil changed in my car a week ago, and when I got there today ,it took ten minutes to get anyone's attention, they simply look at you and walk away, I finally got someone to take my car and they asked if I needed a ride home since it would take a couple of hours to get to my car...ok , three and a half hours later and five phone calls three of which they hung up on me, and two of which they connected me to the wrong dealership, and one Lady said she didn't find my car in the system and asked if I knew where my car was?!! They said I would have my car back in a week or so!! For a freaking oil change? I called until I got someone who seemed to have common sense and told them I was coming to get my car ,please have it ready...she wanted to know what they wanted to charge...excuse me ,you did nothing but hold my car hostage for Five hours, took the car to Jiffy Lube and they changed the oil the air filter and vacuumed it out in ten minutes.. Called back and spoke with a representative at 9am who advised she would get the status and give me a call back shortly. Noon hits and still no call back. Decided I would drive to the dealership. Spoke with the representative Josh who then stated it would be 2-3 days for it to be looked at. Why would I make an appointment for service when it would be looked at 3 days later? Service department is terrible. Purchased my vehicle brand new from Nimnicht. Pulled in on a Saturday. Typically you are met with a service advisor. Well I guess it was too cold this day, after waiting in my vehicle looking at the advisors in the Windows sipping hot cocoa I decided to go in. I requested a basic oil change. Nothing special. The same oil change you can get done on your lunch break at almost any location. The advisor said there is a two hour wait. Two hours for a oil change? Are you kidding me. Just left the Nimnicht service department for the first and LAST time. After getting a decent (not really a great deal) on my wife's ss Camaro a couple months ago we were told it came with the first two oil changes free, great! We set up an appointment for 1:30 today (Friday Nov 3), arrived directly on time and then met the most lackluster group of service writers I have ever experienced. They finally mumbled to some one who just walked up it was a 2 HOUR wait. I asked if that was for those with appointments and they said yes. What good is making appointments if you have absolutely zero intention of keeping them??!! Their excuse of being busy doesn't cut it, I am the customer and I am busy too, in fact the reason we had an appointment was because we are busy. You people better understand real quick that you are there to cater to customers not the other way around! When I went to reclaim my car I asked for the key fob and was told by the lot runner they were IN IT!!! You left my keys in the car in this neighborhood????!!!!!! They snarkily said they service hundreds of cars a day and never have problems. Newsflash: I do t want to be the first one either!!! Don't ever risk my vehicle!!!!! I am a former ASE certified tech myself and have experience running shops. I can warn everyone that when a shop is this poorly managed their techs are overworked and WILL take shortcuts and make mistakes. It's not worth your safety or aggravation dealing with this kind of shoddy shop management. If they want to improve based on my experience today they need to start by cleaning house. I was going to discuss some major upgrades to the car today and WAS going to let them do it in the interest of maintaining my factory warranty. These upgrades were going to be several thousand dollars and guess who is not getting that business?? You have exactly one chance at a first impression and you completely blew it Nimnicht. I just wish yelp let us rate zero stars! Ok, as the old saying goes, fool me once shame on you, twice shame on me. I really wanted to give a second chance and it of course bit me. Again my wife had an appointment to get just a couple things done: an oil change, replace a nut and bolt on the splitter, change the brake deflectors for a hpde day, air up the tires, and get an estimate on fixing some paint scratches. Well at least this time they got the oil changed and adjusted air pressure. According to the service writers though every "mechanic" there is completely incompetent; none of them had the skill set to put in a nut and bolt or unscrew a few screws and replace them in the deflectors and NOBODY was there to do an estimate. So apparently their mechanics missed screw driver and wrench day when they went thorough training. I would have normally done all of this except I am out of town. It's sad when a company freely admits they are incompetent buffoons. I wish someone could explain to me why thy hired people to run a dealers service department who really don't even have the skill set to ask if you want to upsize your combo meal. The fact the service manager hasn't been fired with extreme prejudice speaks volume to the management of this dealership. read more

I drive my car a lot for work so I need an oil change more frequent than most and I completely forgot. It's nice to know they stay on top of things so I don't have to. My experience with the service department has been horrible I brought a used vehicle but purchased the extended warranty. A week later my car was in the shop with an air bag issue and the shop did not want to honor the warranty purchased a week prior now a year later my car has been in the shop over 10 times and each time I have to fight with them to honor the warranty I purchased that they recommend. I brought in my 2012 chevy traverse in for an oil change and was pleased to have had such a short wait time. In the past it had been much longer so it seems as though the service wait time has improved. I was also pleased to know that my tires were rotated with the service which was a nice bonus. A dealership in my local area in Ga charges for tire rotation, are not as friendly and they damaged my car the last time I was there.
