I brought my 6,8,12 yr old nieces here for mani's. They were very sweet to the girls and accommodating. I occasionally do gel manicures if my nails look awful and need to grow. But I read on their website about SNS nails and they seemed healthier than gel so I called. Alex was very patient and answered ALL my questions and did not rush me although I'm sure he was busy. So I came back later in afternoon and had an SNS French manicure. Alex explained the process in detail and did a great job. He was very friendly but not too friendly. The salon is beautifully decorated and only 2 years old. I have found my new nail salon! The only small negative is the chemical smell was very strong. Maybe needs more ventilation. I have been coming to Nina nails when Alex ran things for about eight years. I had never had an issue and everyone was great. Now that they are under new management, things have changed. I booked my appointment for 6:30 PM since the website allowed me to. Once I arrived, they told me my appointment had been rescheduled to 6 o'clock without my knowledge. They said they are about to close and basically would not take my business. I am very confused on why they have 630 as an option on their website if they close at seven. I'm been raving about this place until now. I came to simply get a nail fixed. I walked in and the owner who wasn't busy just looked at me. Once I signed in and sat down she asked what was i there to get serviced I told her. She said do you have an appointment I told her no and she said we are fully booked. I'm not mad that they're booked but why just look at me and wait until after I sign in and sit before greeting me. I also don't think it's fair to book appointments only when walk ins are supposed to be welcomed. I definitely don't be coming back unless I have an appointment. I decided to try Nina Nails after googling salons close to where I work, the reviews were so great and the salon is less than 5 minutes away so I decided to give them a try. I called Thursday at lunchtime hoping to get an appointment that afternoon. I was told they were fully booked and they advised me against a walk in even though they accept them, because they knew I would have to wait. I was disappointed but decided to make an appointment for this afternoon instead. We arrived and I thought the parking lot looked empty so why did I have to schedule an appointment. Walked in and the place is clean and tidy, and there weren't 6 people sitting waiting. I went with a friend and we arrived 15 minutes early, they took her back right away as she was just getting a mani and I needed a full set. I actually didn't go back until 445 for a 430 appointment by which point I was getting annoyed, HOWEVER, it was well worth the wait. I had Alex, and he gave me the best set of coffin acrylics I've ever had! He was gentle and meticulous, he really cared about what he was doing. My nails look fantastic and I made my 2 week appointment as I was leaving. I will never go to another salon! I'm fine with having to sit and wait if my manicure is flawless! I also now understand why they told me to come on Friday rather than walk in on Thursday, they take their time and care about the service they provide, unlike some salons that take in as many appointments and walk ins as show up, then do poor quality work as they are rushed. My friend loved her manicure, and also made a 2 week appointment, as well as an appointment for her wedding nails in October! We are both very happy customers! read more

Do not get the SNS nails here ! It's a new process sometimes called "dipping nails" because they dip your nails in A powder. They are like gel but it seems to be easier on your nails and lighter. . Only a few places in town do them. I was frustrated with the other salon because of service so tried Nina which I understand to be under new management. The young lady wasn't exactly friendly and looked kind of inexperienced which concerned me. I asked her how long she had been doing nails and she said 4 years. So they do the SNS but only have a few colors. My nails were hacked!! Got them done on Thursday and by Friday they started chipping. By Monday they were a hot mess and headed there for a redo. They are closed on Mondays. My nails looked so bad I had to go somewhere else to get them redone before I go back to work. I will be calling tomorrow. She should never do the SNS, she's just not experienced at it. read more

Great spot with convenient hours and easy appointment scheduling through the Yelp app. The spa is very large and clean and they have a ton of techs so everything works efficiently. The pedicure was awesome with a nice foot scrub and massage along with the most awesome chair massages ever! Gel manicure was quick and well done. We will see how long it lasts... I only took off one star because it is a bit more expensive ($61 for gel mani and reg pedi) than other places I have seen. The guy who did my nails was super sweet and let me check on my nails at every stage of doing them which was a massive improvement from where I had been getting them done. Do NOT get your eyebrows waxed here. I went in for eyebrow waxing and already the room was a storage room with boxes and a sink that only had towels in it- clearly wasn't being used. I also noticed the bed had towels on it instead of the usual paper sheets you sit on in other salons. When she finished doing my eyebrows they were completely uneven. One was so much thicker than the other. The only thing she did was wax them- no plucking or trimming or anything. Huge waste of money. read more

Today I stopped in, like many others, because of the convenient location. There is no price sheet listed anywhere. I asked the girl if she had a price list I could see, she said "what do you want done?" I said well can I see prices ? She got a sheet from behind the counter but said "this is confusing to look at, what do you want done?" And kept the sheet hidden from my view. Finally I said a manicure, she said ok $15. I said well I'm wanting gel polish on my nails how much extra for that? She thought for too long before saying $30. Seemed VERY shady and like they were just making up prices. Nina Nails is HORRIBLE with doing Dip nails. I've gotten my nails done with dip powder on my real nails for months now and I recently moved into the area and needed to get my nails done. I had them do dip powder nails, wayyyyy over priced it was $45 dollars when I usually pay $30 at my normal place. The first day I had them done the color was beautiful but my a couple nails had already chipped off. At my old place, dip powder would last 3 weeks with no chips they were practically indestructible. But here, I can speak on the dip powder service, I will never go back again. read more
