PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THE FITTING ROOMS!!! - MAJOR PRIVACY CONCERN !! I'm posting this to bring awareness to a major privacy concern at this store. The moment I walked into the fitting room area, I immediately spotted a high mounted security camera that was facing directly toward the fitting rooms. The camera was placed so high up that it could easily see over the top of the dressing rooms making it possible to record people while they're changing. Let me be clear: if you can see the camera from inside the fitting room, the camera can absolutely see you too. I felt completely exposed and instantly uncomfortable. I had to ask the store owner to move me to a room that wasn't directly in view of the camera. When I brought it up, the owner told me the cameras "cut off" at the fitting room doors but based on the camera angle and placement, it's extremely hard to believe that. Whether intentional or not, there is zero sense of privacy here. Just knowing the camera was aimed in that direction made me feel violated. Please be aware and protect your privacy. You should never have to worry about being on camera while half naked in a fitting room. I strongly urge management to reevaluate the placement of their cameras, because customer comfort and safety should always come first. Nina's - Camera facing right into & above the fitting room door! - Women's Clothing Near Me - San Jose, California

They got cute stuff, seems reasonably priced but the sizes doesn't fit well for the size they advertise. I am a person who is looking for a comfy size jeans past size "L" and they said they got them in the store. Unfortunately when I tried them on. its just not cutting it which made me flustered and frustrated. The have nice blouses but its not working out for me. I checked out the seams and its not well made. Oh well... Moving on... read more

The female here that wears glasses, is overweight, looks Mexican, always has an attitude and is rude. Makes you not want to shop there. Dont know what her problem is. Didn't do anything except exchange clothes that did not fit and she has an attitude. I was not complaining about anything either, just made a simple statement and said "they still did not fit me even after getting Medium because one of the dresses runs small no matter what size you get." The clothes there are nice and I like them but I would come on a day she is not working there. The clothes sizes are a hit or miss, some will fit and some wont even if they are all the same size. Someone else said the same thing in another review for this store that the clothes may or may not fit because the sizes all run differently. So to look rude just because I'm returning items makes no sense. The other workers are fine, have not had an issue with them. The owner is nice as well. read more

Ghetto !!!! Made a purchase at the Nina's in seramonte and was told I had 30 day sore credit or exchange and that Nina's had a location in San Jose as well. I drove 1.5 hours to San Jose to do an exchange only to be told I had to go to same store I purchased the items from wow !!! read more

Very much of the Forever 21/ Papaya/ Charlotte Russe milieu... Nina's in Eastridge is one of those places us chick's appreciate. You can buy disposable clothes or even strike it rich with a good quality piece. But what i dig is the basic pieces, like solid tops and tees, you could spend 4 times more at stores like Gap or JCrew. Likes: Cool basics, big space with lots to look through, their 50%+ off rack (which is not wrecked clothes, just been in-store too long), the service (smiles and questions if i needed help) Dislikes: Too many unsupervised kids running around in the store (not to mention the whole mall), can get a little messy If you're already in the mall, and need a $12 top to wear out that night... this is your place! So rude.. I bought something and decided to return it awhile ago.. They were very rude about it. It was in perfect condition, all tags were on it.. They kept trying to find something wrong with it. When they asked why I said it wouldn't fit.. They finally let me return it after mumbling to their co-worker I probably got fatter. So mean. I really liked nina's. I overall love the clothes in this store! Most of the time customer service is decent... I went recently and the older Asian couple perhaps managers were eyeing me and the lady even sent the guy to walk closer to me to watch me like I was ready to steal. I had bought something too and went back to buy another thing and they did it again! AFTER I JUST SPENT SOME MONEY. stop racial profiling and/or being so damn paranoid!! This store is amazing!! they have cheap shirts for about 3.99, they also have purses for under $10! the jeweler their i don't recommend, but they have this eye shadow that is powder , any color you can think of. read more

The pants are great!! Average price is $20 for a pair of jeans, but they have specials sometimes for $9.99. The highest price jeans are about $30. I don't recommend the tops or jackets as the quality just isn't there. I buy all my jeans here and find that they last quite a while. I'm pretty rough on my jeans and the only problem I've had is one of the zippers breaking after about one year. The young staff they have working here ins't SO friendly, but what do expect from a place in the mall! Oh to be young again, lol!!!!! read more

Horrible customer service and rude employees that do not know how to run a business. They sell you anything and do not take returns or exchanges even if the store tags are on the items. I am surely taking this issue to the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint and hope this place gets their business license revoked and goes out of business because this business can not grow with the way they run their store. read more

the only time I went there and I loved it, disposable clothes for good price, I am the kind of person that I just wear clothes three times at most. then no more, so to me its not worth it to pay for expensive clothes like bebe, I definitely come back soon.
