No wine on the menu? I was shocked. For a hotel bar, things were decently priced. Not a lot of space at the bar.

Finally made it to the infamous Jasper's and yes, the reputation precedes them for good reason. The…read morepours are generous. Very generous. Consider yourself warned and delighted. Food was consistent and tasty across the board. I kept it light with a salad and even that impressed me, which says something. The combo appetizers were a hit, everything landed. Honestly the biggest surprise was the space itself. Based on word of mouth I wasn't expecting much, but this place is significantly bigger and nicer than the reputation suggests. Clean, great decor, and music to my ears..plenty of parking! Jasper's is one of those places where the "good and bad" reputation had me curious and the actual experience had me planning a return visit. Definitely going back.

This place is pretty big and I am curious with the setup if Jaspers was another type of "entertainment" establishment where more than the drinks would be shaking. Well, a quick search answered my question, and it once was once the BET Soundstage where they filmed videos of Uncut. IYKYK. I am not sure of that last part about Uncut actually. What I do know is that Jaspers is well worth a return. From the looks this place stays busy and a definite local spot for some. Service was pretty good and it is no different than many places where some are doing more than others and so glad we had someone who was focused and answered our questions. I started off with a drink called the Darth Vader. It is strong but not to the point where you taste just alcohol. I highly recommend the Chino Latino Rolls. I wish they had some avocado lime crema to go with it but this app was good with the sour cream. The appetizer came out hot and was not waiting under some heat lamp. I went with the bacon cheeseburger at a medium rare. This place has a very good burger, and it was better than some places that charge way more. Put this place in for top burgers in the DMV. No complaints and this is a good place to checkout. It took me a minute to get here but glad I did finally. A second visit is a must for me.

For starters, I couldn't decide between the honey butter chicken biscuits, jalapeño cornbread, or the calamari... and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. For the main course, I went with the barramundi (catch of the day) and it was absolutely perfect, though the BBQ pork ribs and 12oz black angus New York strip with fries also looked amazing. Dessert is not to be missed--the bread pudding is a must-try. And the cocktails? The cherry blossom martini, Fleur de Lis, and espresso martini all hit the spot This place is perfect for a cozy Sunday dinner, a night out, or just because. I can't wait to come back--highly recommend bringing someone special or your crew for an unforgettable meal!

It's packed and loud inside BUT don't let the smoke and mirrors fool you. The food is overcooked and lacks season. My advice save your hard earned money this place and their food TERRIBLE. Parents anytime a kids says, "these chicken fingers don't taste like anything", and then I try them and it taste like chicken no seasoning just fried chicken with absolutely nothing. I hate to say this but it's the worse tasting food I've had in years.

The restaurant is tucked away under an apartment building and is easy to miss if you're not paying attention. It's one of those hidden-gem spots that doesn't get a ton of foot traffic simply because of its location. Once inside, though, it has a cute, welcoming atmosphere. They operate with self-seating, which was mostly fine, but it can create a little confusion. There were a few instances where people had partially occupied tables or moved chairs around, making it difficult to tell whether a table was available or not. I still loved love the esthetic. I ordered the Cobb salad (without bacon) and added salmon as my protein. The portion size was decent for the price to add to my salad. I did learn that protein is an additional charge on every menu item........ including the tacos. That threw me off because tacos typically come with a protein as part of the base dish. Lol It felt weird to have to pay extra for something that seems essential to the meal. As for drinks, I wasn't drinking that day, so I can't personally review the cocktails. However, my best friend tried a few and said they were good overall, just don't get the Paloma. She specially said it tastes like syrup and sprite. The drinks were visually appealing with plenty of garnishes. They do offer happy hour even though we missed it but it's only 10% off drinks. I will say any discount is appreciated these days, but 10% ends up being about $1 to $1.50 off, which doesn't really feel like a traditional happy hour deal. Overall, I'd give this place a 4 out of 5 stars. The food portions were generous, the atmosphere was charming, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. A few adjustments to the protein pricing decisions and seating process would make the experience even better, but I'd definitely return

It was wasn't o packed or even busy as time of our dinner, but waiter was nowhere to be found half the time. Had to wait for probably 20 minutes after players were cleared for the tab. Bartender was walking around with Birkenstocks on, no socks. All things considered those are his toes that are going to be hurt should something happen but odd nonetheless. Another waiter was wearing AirPods while working/serving. Food was mid at best. I don't recall the last time I ate at a restaurant that proudly served a cheese sauce in their nachos in this year of 2026. I hope they turn it around so the neighborhood has a place to go to.

There is free parking, with limited spots that are shared with other businesses. There are a few seats for when you are waiting for your food but I didn't notice any tables for dining. When we arrived there was a food reviewer in there raving about the pancakes so, of course, we had to try them along with a few other items. I ordered the catfish and grits, which were EXCELLENT; Bae built a bowl, which included eggs, grits, and a few proteins; and we also ordered the chicken and pancakes; and a mango iced tea. Service was EXCELLENT!! Everyone was so kind, patient, and helpful. The food was also prepared quickly and was delicious! My only "complaint" is why would you make pancakes that taste soooo good and then serve cheap pancake syrup!?

Our group ordered via the phone for a carryout for lunch - I had: +the Seafood Fries - this had Old Bay-seasoned fries, topped with shrimp, fried salmon bites, and lump crab meat, dressed in a remoulade sauce; you can opt for cajun or bang bang seasoning, in which I went for the cajun. This was pretty tasty, albeit slightly more on the saltier end. The shrimp was large and well-battered, and the seasoning was definitely present! The salmon bites were okay - large generous chunks, but I think they did overfried it, so it was more on the dry end. Could have had more lump crab meat, as this was very scarce. Others had the subs, the veggie bowls, and sandwiches, and they were all fans. The only issue was that they did not include any condiments, specifically cocktail sauce that was requested, and a couple of items were missing from the order. Online ordering is also available for convenience. +large shrimp +check your orders!

Silver Diner is located in a convenient shopping area with plenty of parking, which already makes…read moreit an easy and stress-free spot to visit. From the outside, it has that classic, full-fledged American diner look and once you walk in, it absolutely delivers on that vibe. The place is clean, welcoming, and has a really nice atmosphere. As soon as we entered, the greeter was friendly and quickly got us seated in a booth. The staff overall was very welcoming and attentive throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. The menu has a ton of options, so there's something for everyone. For our meal, we ordered the French toast and the shrimp and grits, and for an appetizer, we tried the spinach rolls which were honestly fantastic and a standout item. Everything we had was flavorful and satisfying. There was a small mix-up with my drink, I ordered orange juice but received apple juice instead but it wasn't a big deal, and everything else came out great. The diner also offers a variety of beverages, including alcoholic options, coffee, hot chocolate, and more, though we stuck with breakfast drinks this time. Pricing can be a bit on the higher side depending on what you order. For two people, our breakfast came out to around $68, but considering the quality of the food, service, and overall experience, it felt worth it. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed our breakfast here. Between the atmosphere, the food, and the friendly staff, I'd definitely come back again. 4 out of 5 stars!

Lanham, MD isn't exactly a destination dining city, so stumbling onto Silver Diner and going back a…read moresecond time tells you something. We hit it twice during a recent trip: once for breakfast, and once for dinner. Both times, the menu range stopped us in our tracks. This isn't a laminated-two-pager situation. There's real variety here, and it's executed with a level of care that genuinely surprised me. Portion sizes are exactly where they should be (not the grotesque American overload, not the pretentious undersell) and the flavors are consistently on point. The one exception: my other half felt her breakfast potatoes were a little flat, with bland seasoning and a texture that wasn't quite there. A minor thing, but worth noting because everything else around it cleared a higher bar. For breakfast, the coffee was ok, though I suspect ours had been sitting too long. Not a dealbreaker, but a place this dialed-in should probably be more attentive to that detail. Value is where Silver Diner arguably embarrasses its competition. The price-to-quality ratio is legitimately hard to explain. Where else do you get this kind of menu variety, this level of execution, and walk out without wincing at the bill? Whoever runs this chain is paying attention to the details and clearly cares about making an impression, and it shows in almost every aspect of the operation, including a noticeably clean dining room. That said, the staff was somewhat of a letdown. They're efficient, sure, but warm they are not. The payment handoff in particular felt oddly transactional...they simply extended the payment device across the table. It's a small thing that lands wrong when the rest of the experience is so clearly intentional. I find it hard to square how much attention goes into the food and environment, and how little seems to go into making guests feel like the staff actually wants to be there. All in all, if Silver Diner ever opens in the Pacific Northwest, I'll be in line before the doors open, and I suspect half of the Seattle area would join me. Go. Absolutely worth your time if you want some low-priced quality, casual food.

One of them didn't even ordered from the kids menu because she said it's not good lol. Idk, I guess because it's etched in stone and not going anywhere, anytime soon, they don't feel the need to put some integrity in the food. .my salmon was Overcooked, Very under portioned, broccoli was not fresh before it was cooked, mashed potatoes came out like ice cream from a scooper. I did make a complaint about my meal and she spoke to the manager who corrected it by sending out another salmon entree, cooked perfectly and with seasoning!!!! And I wasn't charged. All in all, the kids made due as well but I can't say that I'd go back. I wish restaurants like thus would care more.
