On a spontaneous Friday night my best friend and I came here, and wound up running into some old-college friends at the bar and had ourselves a time! What can I say?‍ I couldn't be toooo disappointed being that Friday's is not somewhere I woukd usually dine because the lack of quality and presentation has been down for the past maybe 20+ years. I remember the buffalo wings being a top seller there and ppl really wouldnt even indulge in the entrees as much as they did the appetizers. But I was in the area spending time with the little ones, so I decided Friday's couldn't be so bad- especially for kids! One of them didn't even ordered from the kids menu because she said it's not good lol. Idk, I guess because it's etched in stone and not going anywhere, anytime soon, they don't feel the need to put some integrity in the food. .my salmon was Overcooked, Very under portioned, broccoli was not fresh before it was cooked, mashed potatoes came out like ice cream from a scooper. The food didn't taste bad but it also wasn't much to consider. The server was pretty sweet, she was doing her best. I did make a complaint about my meal and she spoke to the manager who corrected it by sending out another salmon entree, cooked perfectly and with seasoning!!!! And I wasn't charged. Music so loud you cant even talk to the bartender, its TGIF not a night club...Asked for a draft beer, she said all drafts are down. Game came on at 1:30, I asked her if she could turn on game, she put it on TV but no sound. I asked if there would be sound and she said no, the customers like the music...there were 3...Paid for my beer and left. Just Okay... But at least the Mulch Was Lit I visited the TGI Fridays in Largo a couple of months ago with my family -- my sister, brother-in-law, two nephews, dad, and his wife. We were all looking forward to a relaxed sit-down meal, but unfortunately, the experience didn't quite hit the mark. To start, the seating situation was a bit chaotic. Even after our whole party arrived, we still had to wait for a table -- and not a short wait. It felt like they weren't prepared for a group, even though we were in plain sight. Once seated, the service was friendly, but noticeably slow. Our server was doing her best, but she was clearly stretched thin -- likely a staffing issue, which I get. Still, when you're out with family, it's hard not to notice when it takes forever for drinks to arrive, refills to happen, or basic requests to be handled. Now for the food... eh. Just eh. I wasn't expecting fine dining, but I was hoping for better than fast-food quality. Sadly, everything was pretty bland and underwhelming. Nothing stood out, and no one at the table seemed too impressed with their meal. Oh -- and then there was the mulch fire. Yes, you read that right. It was so hot that day that the mulch outside the restaurant caught fire. We're still unsure if it was the heat or maybe a cigarette tossed in there, but that was the most excitement we got that day. The best part of the visit was being with my family and sharing laughs, which we could've done elsewhere. We enjoyed each other's company, but I doubt we'll choose this spot again soon. read more

I ordered the rib dinner and potato skins appetizer. The Ribs were very tasty with the whiskey sauce, but they were a little too done. I would still order again. I think when packing food for delivery the containers should have a seal on it to ensure no breakage during delivers, not just the bag. Overall a good meal. read more

We arrived and stood at the entrance for close to five minutes before anyone acknowledged us although the bar was full of people and plenty of action was apparent. Eventually, a customer, obviously a regular at the bar, went to get the hostess, who was casually eating at a back table. She was friendly and led up to a booth in the bar area without asking if we wanted to be there. Immediately we noticed the table hadn't been cleaned well with crumbs still on the table and straw paper on the seats. A server came to take our drink order and we ordered water. He seemed taken aback that we didn't want cocktails. He brought the water then took our order and disappeared. While waiting we had no choice but to be entertained by loud music and boisterous staff chatter with the customers. They were singing, laughing, and using profanity while dancing around. The noise level was so high we had to lean in just to talk. It felt more like a corner dive bar filled with regulars than the TGIF experience we expected. When our food arrived, it was delivered by the bartender, who was friendly and courteous. He then returned to entertaining his bar customers. Our server never came back to check on us although he passed our table numerous times to talk to the couple behind us. Finally I flagged him down an asked for mayonnaise and mustard for my burger. He went to get it and returned to slide some packages of heinz onto the table, and left without a word. Meanwhile, the hostess and bartender continued chatting in an overly loud, unprofessional way, treating patrons like old friends rather than guests. Food-wise, everything was okay but was overshadowed by employees and their loud boisterous actions. The language was offensive. Who wants to dine while hearing employees laughing and talking loudly using colorful language about movies, music, and everyday comedy on the streets? I don't, especially while on vacation, which I was. After reading numerous recent reviews citing similar issues--long waits, inattentive staff, cleanliness, and bar-style chaos--I wouldn't be surpised if the owner of this location was related to these employees. No other establishment would allow this type of unprofessional behavior from it's employees on any day. This visit was disappointing. From the entrance to the exit, the experience lacked the calm, family-friendly, nostalgic vibe associated with TGIF. I wish I would have read the reviews before visiting. read more

I come to this location enough to know good service. Richard at the bar has been my server the last few times I've gone in and I have not been disappointed no matter how busy the bar is. The last time I came, I came in by myself as I was supposed to be meeting friends who were all super late, but I was hungry. I proceeded to the bar, sat down, and ordered their well known Long Island Ice Tea. I had the new meatballs on the apps menu, and an order of boneless wings. My friends eventually showed up and Richard was super accomadating to the additional requests. All of the food was as expected (I always enjoy what I order). Drinks were great. Service was great. 10/10 Service today, Our server "Dontajah" was amazing. Coming into the restaurant with a few other groups of people, we were all met at the door with a smile and two puff balls which was cool and made us feel welcomed. My family and I where sat along with 3 other tables, we noticed she was the only server but was kind enough to let us know and ask us to bare with her. It was something about her energy and smile that just made us feel welcomed. As we were eating a family of 10 people walked in we assumed one of the other employees would at least help her and take that large family but she was on it! Kudos to her for still having a smile on her face while managing 5 tables of people AND helping customers for Togo. Our food was pretty good it did take a little long to come out but it's understandable. It was a little loud due to the music but nothing unbearable. What can I say the food is sooooooo good I myself love eating the occasion pasta it is so good. It's like it just melts in your mouth with the good sauce on the side with a little bit of kick spice. I wish I could put 0 stars. From the minute we walked in to the restaurant, the service was very slow and we felt like the restaurant staff did not take any interest in assisting us. We ended up waiting for nearly 45 minutes from the time we sat down to the time we walked out and there were so many problems with the service. To start off, the floors were very sticky, there was no silverware on the table and after I asked for a strawberry lemonade our waitress brought over a plain lemonade without providing me with any explanation. Furthermore, she came back and told us that our food was taking longer than usual because someone took my food and ate it at the bar. I feel like a waitress, it is her responsibility to make sure we receive our food in a timely manner and as I stated above, the service was above awful. We also noticed a few other families walk out of the establishment and my fiancé finally said that we should do the same and just pay for our drinks. When we spoke to our server, she immediately started arguing and insisted that she was about to bring the food out but the overall experience was horrible and I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I came in around 1030pm for a late night dinner. It was extremely loud and considering the time I wasn't surprised. The music was good. The bar area was not packed, so my table for one came fast. A server greeted me within like 5 min, took my order, and my food came out like 10 min later. I was advised they were taking my whiskey glaze strips off the menu. My alternative was chicken tenders with the glaze. Omg that was much better than what I originally came in for. My broccoli was a little salty and soggy. So I was not pleased with my vegetable choice. Overall, I had a good experience. I usually don't come to this one... I may have to start coming again. After a 4 hour tournament; my daughter requested Friday's. When we got there, no host was present. It took about 3-4 minutes until we greeted and told it would be a 10 min wait. We were the only ones waiting at the Time. Music was at its higest. Good selection of music. But it honestly felt like I was clubbing with my 13 year old. Other patrons were heading to the 21and over section (bar) very busy section of the night. The dining area was near empty. So we decided to wait. Another couple comes in and ask the host how long and had a second thought about waiting. The host seats the couple before us and as he's heading to the dining area he notes that I see and tells me that we're next. Very unprofessional, since my daughter and I were waiting longer. No biggie, we just left and this place was not where she wanted to be after a long day. This review is a ZERO.0 STAR rating . Not family friendly after 9p. Don't waste your time. I was verbally assaulted at the bar, and the manager had the nerve to ask me to leave instead of the assaulter. On top of that, when we originally came in, the bartender was absent, there was no staff, we had to wait 20 minutes for anyone to ask us for our order. Once the bartender eventually came, she was not pleasant or personable, and very rude. I was seriously flabbergasted at the management and the unprofessionalism. What the hell is wrong with this place?! Our server was the worst. He literally got nothing about our orders right, despite taking copious notes and double-checking with us. It took my best friend over 30 minutes to get his drink...and literally all he ordered was a cocktail. When he finally got it, it was the wrong drink. I ordered my cocktail and asked for it to *not* be frozen (they had a frozen and non-frozen option, despite the server telling me that Friday's doesn't serve frozen drinks... As I'm looking at a frozen drink right there on the cocktail menu). Took over 20 minutes for it to arrive and, yup, it was frozen. We had kids in our party and the server brought out a kid's entree on a plate so hot that he literally threw it on the table in front of the kid because it burned his hand. So you gonna bring plate that hot in front of a toddler? Forreal bruh? Fortunately the manager was nearby and saw everything. He quickly grabbed the plate from in front of the child, took it to the kitchen and brought the meal back out on a cooler plate. As for the food... Ugh. My burger was so greasy and not at all seasoned. They gave me 6 small, overcooked onion rings instead of fries and I had to pay extra for this disappointment. Smh. Adding insult to injury, one of the people on our group never got her food. We were here for almost 2 hours and she didn't receive her entree until just before we left...and this was after the server came over *several times* and asked what she was waiting for. When her meal finally arrived, we realized that he only brought out part of it. She asked for the other part to be brought to her, several times, but it never was. The final straw was the loud trap music with vulgar lyrics (forreal? It's a Monday night and there are kids in here... with us, and with other parties. They don't need to hear about nobody "bussin it open"). We could barely hear enough to talk to each other over the loud music, but after hearing the lyrics, we had to try and distract the kids in our party from hearing it too. Thankfully the manager was able to eventually change it. Still... Kids or no kids, that's definitely not the most appropriate choice of music for a restaurant with all kinds of people patronizing it. read more

The bartender with the glasses and headphones in the entire time told me he had a lot going on reasons why it took me 30 minutes to get a drink. You're a bartender!! If you can't keep up go to Ruby Tuesdays. It's a little bit more your speed. I am so annoyed I got my food to go. Never again. I'd rather drive to Greenbelt. Doesn't even deserve the 1 star.
