The owner/manager of this place was very rude!!! I noticed that I didn't have the bread basket as she was handing my orders, I nicely said I ordered one and just reminded her to put the rest of the condiments. Her face instantly turned sour and went on and on while raising her voice at me and getting in my space! I said I'm never coming back to this place, and she responded by saying "do you want a refund?!" I was so excited to try all the bread since it was my first time going to this place. So disappointed. Maybe this lady is going through some tough times that she can't respond nicely to a paying customer like me. Mind you I bought worth $30+ of just bread! Treat your customers right lady! This is by far my favorite brunch spot in Lubbock. My toddler and I come on lil' dates here about once a month, and I think he likes it too! The atmosphere is a good mix of clean modern/industrial, and makes for adorable pictures. I love their lavender iced coffee, and the scones taste the way a scone should, not overly dry, but not like a cake either. The food was great but a little on the higher end. However the people in the front were incredibly rude and we would see them constantly rolling their eyes and sighing when customers needed help. The worst of them all was Macy, she was at the pick up station and was constantly rude to us even though the messed up drink we had was not our fault. When we needed to go boxes she passed us on to someone else instead of taking the time to help us. It was sad because it's a beautiful place but I was made to feel uncomfortable because of the front end, but when the people/cooks from the back came out it was truly only good energy from them and laughs while they would come out and actually help customers well instead of the front team. read more

Like my other reviewes, let me start with the decor and atmosphere of this restaurant is awesome. It's soothing and peaceful. The employees very friendly, attentive and polite. They made a difference. The breakfast sandwich and the homemade cinnamon roll wax delicious. The coffee good and strong enough. The only thing that I disliked was they didn't have any hot sauce or Cholula but it's a French restaurant so I understand. Management was friendly and easy to speak to. I adore this cafe, I'm a regular customer, it's friendly and they have some fantastic food. I had the vegetable soup on Monday and really enjoyed it. It comes with a piece of baguette that was fresh. I also ordered a bread basket to take home and it was fresh. I find what is completely lacking is if you purchase a loaf to go home. I purchased a cheddar loaf on Thursday and it had 2 dates on the bottom 3/4 and 3/7. I purchased it on 3/10. I asked about it and they talked to a manager ( I was sitting at a table drinking my tea.) and they said it was still good. Today I went in for a coffee to go and purchased a baguette. Get home and it's hard as a brick bat, and has the date 3/9. Could management reach out to me? What's happening here. read more

We arrived at the 92 at 1:58pm just over one hour before closing at 3:00pm. We were looking at the menu to decide our lunch choice, standing at register with employee waiting on us. The time went to 2:01pm and we started to order and the girl informed us they stop taking orders at 2:00pm. We will never return. I understand time control, but she waited and watched us review the menu as the time to order expired. Just another customers service failure post Covid. Went in for breakfast before work with my wife and kiddo and ordered a fruit jam and yogurt for her and the "jam" which was strawberry was runny like water and was super tart and sour. We returned it to the counter and the young lady exclaimed "it wasn't to your liking". I replied that it was tart and sour to which she replied "I'll let them know in the back". My daughter and I tried Ninety-Two a couple months after it opened. Our first couple of visits were great - the scones were the absolute best. They had a crunchy outer shell with a soft middle and not too sweet. I'm a scone girl so I felt like I had found the perfect scone and told everyone I knew about how great they were. Fast forward to October 2022- we went in to get a coffee and scone to go. After two bites of the salt block they gave me that looked like a scone I had to toss is out the window. I was so disappointed and figured a new baker had gotten their measurements on salt wrong that morning. So about a month later we tried again. Same scone... still salty. I swore I'd never go back. However, this past week my daughter and I happened to be in the neighborhood and thought we'd stop in for a coffee. Guess what? They had scones but did not look like the scones from last visit. These scones looked like the scones you get at the Holiday Inn free breakfast Buffett ... and they tasted just like them too. Super sweet and the texture screamed processed. Why? Why? Ugh...
