My grandson had his 8th birthday party here. We arrived a little early to decorate our designated space which was set up with tables & chairs. Then the boys were given tags that showed what time their play was set to end. The play area is huge with many different obstacle courses & slides. The main obstacle course is set up with a timer. The boys loved it. Some of the adults also did the obstacle course which was hilarious. The staff are friendly & monitor the play area to make sure kids are using equipment properly. Overall, a great experience. Glad we were the first party as it began to get crowded towards the end. Recommend going when it first opens at 10. I have never quite witnessed so many kids ages 7-12 with so much haphazard recklessness, running full speed in every imaginable direction. All of them. I brought my sons here for the homeschool PE special and it was awesome! The facility is large, clean, and well-lit, unlike a lot of other indoor play parks. It is basically American Ninja Warrior for kids which is pretty cool, my 4 and 6-year-old boys had a fun time challenging themselves at all the different stations. The bathroom was small but clean. It was a rainy day and we had just a few hours left in Carlsbad. I looked up indoor playgrounds and came upon this one. It was 10 minutes away and looked entertaining so we drove here. Over the summer I failed as a parent to sign my (only child) kiddo up for any sports or camps, so I had to resort to other means of entertainment, one of which was Ninja Factory. At a friend's suggestion we bought a Groupon to try it out after visiting Play City next door a couple of times, and my daughter had noticed Ninja Factory and proclaimed, "I WANT TO GO THERE NEXT TIME!!" I got the Groupon and picked a mid-week day to visit, arriving just after opening. I don't believe they're super strict on the socks like some places - meaning, you don't have to have the Ninja Factory branded ones - but you do need sticky play socks, so we just used our Play City ones. Check-in was super easy, we picked a table for me to sit at, stuck my kiddo's shoes and things in a cubby and she raced off to play. I did a few laps to get the lay of the land, as the building goes back pretty far and I wanted to see what she'd be getting into. Everything is pretty kosher and easy to navigate for most kids probably 4+ years old, with the exception of the challenge wall in the back. My daughter attempted it herself and had a little mishap where she freaked out and froze and I had to physically take her off the wall, but once she faced her fears she attempted it a few more times. The employees are not as "on it" as at other play places - they're pretty on alert next door at Play City so I noticed a couple of activities not being well-monitored (like the TALL slide where kids grab a sack and slide down - a few kids did so unattended until an employee returned to their post), so I would be a little more actively involved if you're visiting with younger children. Overall my daughter enjoyed Ninja Factory and we've been about 4 times in total and she still occasionally asks to return. It's a great addition to Vista and I hope they will remain! read more

This was our first time coming to the Ninja Factory !!! We only choose to do the 60 minute pass which was just enough time, the park is very small but we shared alot of smiles and laughter!! Our 16 year old and 14 year old had a blast on the activity wall, they tried to beat each others time record, which had my husband and I in laughter seeing them fall and try all over again!! It was very competitive hahaha!! Personally it's an ok park for $23.99 it's a nice way for them to get tired & pretty exhausted Cool little park, but does get boring after a while. just saying 60 mins is all you really need! Ninja Factory is a fun place to take the kiddos to get some indoor energy out that isn't just a chaotic trampoline park. There are some really cool features. I wish there could be a 4.5 star option, my only issue is the horrible chairs for the parents that will 1000% kill your back. There is only one style of chair, so if you have a bigger booty or if you don't want your back awkwardly angled back with no lumbar support in a rock hard steel chair....too bad. Considering bringing my portable camping chair. There are just a few pre packaged snacks available for purchase and the prices aren't that bad, but definitely bring your own snacks. There is plenty for the kiddos to do, more aimed at older kids without much for young toddlers. I'd say kindergarteners and up, more elementary schoolers. My kiddo does like this place a lot. The staff will track your kid down exactly at your sticker time so don't expect an extra ten minutes here. When your hour is up you get the boot. I think an extra 10-15 minutes is nice to transition out, and it is nice to let the parents have a chance to transition their kids out of the space so that why I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5. Cool new indoor obstacle/bounce park for the kiddos. Took my kiddo and his two buddies. They are all seven years old and this place is perfect for their age group, quite honestly it's well designed for ages probably 3 to 10 years old and it's joined to a play place for younger kids, probably age 2 to 5 but there are a lot more toddler style stuff at the place city that's next to it since this place is so new it's quite clean and there's a lot of little tables to sick, they don't really make any food or anything here, but there is chips, candy and cookies. All priced below three dollars at a snack bar. They do birthday parties and it's between $20-$30 depending on if they spend an hour up to two hours here. read more

I don't recommend bringing your children here as they won't be safe. They are understaffed and children can take many big falls and hurt themselves. Their large slide is supposed to have an attendant watching, and they even have signs posted. In our one hour visit, three separate kids came tumbling down the hard plastic slide. The attendant at the front told us it's because the owner doesn't wax the slide enough, so it gets sticky. Likely saving on money to maintain their playground. We have videos of multiple kids tumbling down, causing injuries to all of them. Not to mention, killed the vibe. When I brought this to the manager's attention, they refused to email me back after three separate attempts. Terrible customer service as one would expect a courtesy response. If you've ever been to We Play Loud in Lake Forest, that's similar to what you can expect here but less noise and more options for older kids. My kids age 9, 7, 5 had a great time. I appreciated the extra free hour of play if you go before 11am. It's a little pricey and there is no free wifi, which is a major bummer for a parent that is sitting around for two hours. I could have gotten some work done while waiting. It wasn't very busy in the morning; I'm not sure if that's because it's more expensive than trampoline parks around the area, if it's tucked back behind main shopping centers and not visible, or if people just didn't know it was here. For example, it's about $24.99 for an hour but because I have two kids it's almost $60-$70. Make sure you ask questions before purchasing. Also, you don't need specific socks they sell, the kids just need socks. It's just a bonus that there's little grip socks of any sort, because the obstacles are inflatable, and so they might slip a little bit, but still safe enough that regular socks will do just fine. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ONE MORE THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a party here for my 8 year old this past weekend. The kids had fun but we had a subpar experience . We got the Ninja 20 which is $700 for 20 kids 2 hours (2pm-4pm). It felt completely rushed. You have 15 minutes to set up. The guest line to get wristbands, socks and stickers took forever so that was time lost for those attendees. Also, the bathrooms were disgusting and clogged. I was told we had extra kids in our party so we were charged extra but I took an accounting and only counted 20 kids because we had no shows. I asked for a final list of those who checked in but did not get a response. They automatically just charged me extra.15 minutes before our time was up we started cleaning up and they came and gave us a time warning. I asked how much time we have to clean once our time is up and they said you have a good amount of time especially if there is no party after you. Then they proceed to move the tables and spray the cleaning spray on the tables at 4 pm exactly and allowed the next party to already start bringing stuff to our area before we left. So disappointing and annoying. Clocked 4:10pm as the time we all walked out and were done saying goodbyes. It was definitely not worth it! All this to say I will never be having a party here again and will recommend others the same. As far as just dropping in to play, the kids had fun during their short amount of time. But my kids and their friends are traumatized by their friend's incident and they don't want to come back.
