I like the kiosk concept of ordering and it's been pretty fast everytime I've gone. I always order it to go and it never disappoints!

Good portions, fast and friendly service, and nice casual seating. Its a food court kind of style restaurant where you order up front and receive your food in a tray. Presentations is nice and they provide you with everything in the tray so you don't have to go around looking for sauce or napkins or anything. I got the spicy pork and its a big portion for a great price. Tastes like your usual korean spicy pork bulgogi and the vegetables are cooked well. Everything else looks just as amazing with big portions for a great price and will keep you full for a while. The yum yum sauce is also really good with the vegetables. Overall not sure why the rating is so low. I think this is a great casual place to get a delicious healthy meal for a good price. read more

I've been waiting here for 45 minutes and I haven't been talked to about my order. All of the employees are just talking to each other sitting around not showing their worry about me having to wait so long for my order. While watching them work, they have spilled three sauces in total and laughing about it the whole entire time. I'm sure the food is gonna be good, but this service is absolute bullshit. read more

The last two times I've placed a take-out order, I've waited an unreasonable amount of time. The food is just okay, and when you're waiting that long for essentially chicken nuggets and rice, it's hard to understand why. My food tasted good. However, the service was absolutely horrid. It took over between 20 to 40 minutes for our party to get our food. Orders were given to the wrong people. Very expensive for what we got and having to pay extra for white or ginger sauce. Also extra fee for Wasabi for sushi. The employees were on their phones doing nothing. This place has good food, but the service is very inconsistent. I've been in on days when they're on top of it and you can sit down with food in 10 minutes. But ive recently learned, do not go dine in at night, as this is the busiest time for pick up orders. I do not agree with their order management as there were multiple orders being placed on the process of me trying to order my food to dine in/in person. The orders that were placed online were done way before mine even though we were waiting in the store to dine in for 45 minutes before we ever got anything. I'm pretty sure they even gave half of my order to someone else by mistake so they had to throw another bowl together that was cooked right before giving us our food while my bowl was cold for sitting there so long. read more

Came here during lunch on a Friday and it was busy super busy! The line was long, and they were swamped with phone orders. It took about 25 minutes to get our food, which was a bit of a lengthy wait for a take out type place. Ordered the steak bowl with steamed rice and the person I was with ordered the steak bowl with fried rice. We enjoyed our food. This is a decent place to eat at in Goldsboro and I would recommend giving it a try. Just avoid going during lunch because it gets busy! Either that or place a phone order. It seemed like a bunch of people who placed takeout orders paid ahead so they could avoid waiting in line. read more

It's what you expect. I really like the Gyoza. We usually order the Bulgogi bowl w/extra egg. Which is quite tasty.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Super slow called in 45 minutes ago and still waiting for my order. All I ordered was chicken bowl & steamed vegetables. I've had pickup from this location a few times over the last year. Food is always generous, prepared properly, and delicious. I usually get the chicken bowl with brown rice and veggies. Last week I got steak and it was a perfect medium rare. The pan fried gyoza are fantastic with a spicy dipping sauce. We would've returned it but there was already an issue with my daughters order...she ordered white rice after being asked and she was given fried...so we had already corrected that problem. No one in front of me, 3 people behind the counter, no greeting of any sort to say hello or they'd be with me in a moment. I really love this place, but tonight things were a bit "off". It was about 8:30 and I ordered the steak bowl with fried rice and veggies and a fountain drink to eat there. My food comes to me in a to go box, the steak was not cubed (as it typically is cut), my veggies consisted of only cabbage, and was cold. After asking about the steak, I ate a little bit and decided I didn't want to finish it, so I trashed it and left. I would expect this from their other location on Berkley Blvd...which totally sucks, but not the Wayne Memorial location. This is the first time having an issue, but am hopeful it was just a fluke. read more

Went in to order a to go order thinking it would be pretty quick. I ordered a veggie rice bowl with no onions and no cabbage and received only onions and cabbage for my meal. Tried this place out yesterday and it was MEH........ The menu is pretty small, so I went with the chicken teriyaki entree. I had enough steamed rice to share with 3 people and enough chicken for 1 serving. The price was super cheap, the food was ok, but I'll pass on this place. My family and I came to eat at this location Sunday July 8th, 2021. The service was awful and the food took forever to be served. When I went up to the counter to check on my food you could see a whole line of food on the counter, that was clearly getting cold. My whole family had come to eat here and when my cousin went up to check on her food the girl gave her attitude. So the second time the service was terrible, half the food come out, after ten minutes of waiting I asked the cashier and the other half wasn't even started! I love there ninja fried chicken/shrimp but if you have any kind of allergy don't go. My dad is allergic to seeds and nuts and they refuse to stop putting them on his bowls. If you have a life threatening allergy don't risk it. I hate leaving bad reviews but they could injure someone. read more

I was at your Wayne memorial location in Goldsboro. After placing my order they said it would be ready in 25 minutes. I arrived and my order had not been started. One girl tells me that the order was not ready yet and tells me I have to wait in my car for my order. I ask "How long should it be? You guys told me it would be ready in 25 minutes. Now with that, what frustrates me is that instead of saying "sorry we didn't see it" she pretends that it's in the process of being made where I can see through the window to the kitchen and clearly they aren't doing anything. After I ask that question another girl says "Oh our machine messed up that's why we didn't get to it yet. Your order should be ready in 15 minutes." I wait for 30 minutes and my order is finally ready. No apologies or anything, just "have a nice night." Improve your customer service. I would have been fine if they were just transparent instead of trying to cover their mistake. read more

Let me start by saying that both ninja hibachi express restaurants in Goldsboro are terrific. However, there are some distinct differences between the restaurant on Berkeley and the one on Wayne Memorial. I visited the restaurant on Berkeley many times before moving out of state a year ago. During our visit back to Goldsboro, we decided to try out the new ninjas on Wayne Memorial. Then we visited the old ninjas on Berkeley the following night to give a true comparison. We visited both restaurants at about 6 pm. Wayne Memorial is a cleaner and prettier location. It is a great place to dine in. However, the portion sizes are noticeably smaller than the other location. The Berkeley location is run down and only sufficiently clean (better for take out). The staff at both locations were polite and fast, but the Wayne Memorial location was literally empty.... We were the only people in the restaurant at 6 pm. I don't know if it gets busy, but we got three meals in under 5 minutes. The Berkeley location was totally packed, and they cranked out orders every 2 minutes. We had to wait a total of 25 minutes. Now the most important part... Taste.. We ordered steak terriaki and chicken terriaki meals and there was little to no difference in the taste of the meat and rice, but the veggies served are different. We lo ve the zucchini served with onion, carrot, broccoli, and cabbage at Berkeley. Wayne Memorial served all the same veggies minus the zuccini. Both locations are terrific. You can decide which is right for you. read more
