I walked in on a Friday about an hour before close. The place was empty & somewhat dirty. Three employees continued to ignore me & continue a conversation in their language. I asked clearly multiple times if I was able to order takeout. A few moments later one guy took my order acting clearly annoyed I was there & took my order on the back of an envelope from their mail. Seriously?! I get it's later in the evening, BUT they were still open AND a Friday night! As I wrote this, 3 customers walked in & they were welcomed timely and help quickly. This better be damn good sushi. Still waiting for sweet & sour chicken & some sushi. The other 3 people are gone. A few employees have wondered around the dinner area to sit & chitchat with each other with cleaning supplies in hand...again BETTER BE DAME Good Fish. The 3 before me; just got their food! wTF?? Never F again. If I hadn't paid already...

A hibachi , chinese and sushi combination restaurant. It doesn't have nice decoration and the atmosphere is not really good but they do have the best sushi in Lincoln! My favorite dishes are sushi cake and ninja special salad! Ninja special salad has shrimp, crab meat, cucumber, seaweed salad and avocado on top! It is crispy and sweet! I can see eel and salmon on top of sushi cake and spicy tuna in between. First time eating cake made by rice and fish, it is definitely worth a try!

I like the sushi very much! One of the best Japenese food restaurant in town. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. The soup was great. And the salad came with the soup was great as well, even though it was not Japenese food at all.

Seating is limited, but it feels cozy and intimate. The staff was outstanding from the greeter to the servers, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The menu has a great variety, from ramen and teriyaki boxes to rice dishes and sushi. We started with the soft shell crab appetizer, which was incredibly fresh with a light, perfectly crisp tempura batter. For our main course, we went with a selection of sushi, and it was phenomenal. The fish was extremely fresh, served at the perfect temperature, and every flavor paired beautifully. One thing I really appreciated is they don't smother their sushi in sauces, they let the freshness and quality of the fish speak for itself, the way it should. Quite possibly the best sushi in town!!

We ordered a variety of stuff. As appetisers We ordered fried calamari, it's only now that I realized I didn't grab a pix of the calamari. It was decent with a creamy sriracha sauce. I then had my agadashi tofu. It was crisp and nice. The batter could be lighter and the tofu could be the softer kind... - to me that would be nirvana. But for this- it was good. My handroll and sushi was fresh and delicious. It was a good afternoon with the good food My drink happy sumo- was nice just didn't really do it for me though. Ambiance was nice and zen. I like it. That said food still tasted good and is fresh. Thank you Koen for saving us a few bucks. Because i picked a different dish.and our overall bill was reduced. However, i also noticed reduction in the sizes of the meal probably due to the economy. In my dolsot bibimbap, there was much lesser meat, much lesser vegetables than before. The proportion of rice appeared to have grown. Looks like other patrons have noticed too. Might be awhile before we came back. Be mindful- habachi grill menu allows for one person n three people to order. The one named happy hour for two ppl cannot be ordered until its happy hour. Feels like they are penalising couples who want to both have their habachi. Remember that and save some moolah!!!!

The server took initial drink orders for two of my friends and directed them to the QR code to order appetizers/food--it was unclear. When I arrived a few minutes later it took a bit for anyone else to come by, I ordered a drink and had to ask for it multiple times. We basically learned by vibes we will be ordering our food online ourselves...which is fine but that needs to be clear upfront. I had to ask for side plates more than once, we received paper baskets, which isn't really ideal for soy sauce dipping. Midway through the meal we are told water is self-service too. I went up to order a second round of drinks for the table myself, and later my friend went up to get our drink tabs to close out and also to-go boxes as even tho you don't order the drinks online, apparently no one else was coming to our table to close these out so no idea how long we would have sat there waiting. I always consider myself a good tipper, but don't expect much when we are doing a majority of the work ourselves and don't feel like we've received any type of "service." I don't know if they are transitioning to this or struggling with staffing and cutting down, but last time I was here it was great service, and they had lunch sushi specials with soup/salad (September 2025). The menu appears to have changed along with service quality. All of that being said, the sushi is decent quality, we really liked the Oh my god roll that flames up at the table, that was our favorite. We also got the kiss of fire, it wasn't as spicy as it sounded, crystal beach, and monster lobster roll, They were all just okay, but I don't know if it's worth the time of self-service ambiance when you want the full dine-in sushi experience, this doesn't match the current vibe inside so maybe a better place just to get take out. Hoping this was just a one-off experience but time will tell. Did enjoy the beef gyoza and pineapple sake.

Once she got our order moments afterwards another 10-15 minutes go by until we got our delicious food (served yet again by our hostess and not the waitress.) but during that time our waitress was happily serving the other guests and got their drinks before us. While we were eating our food, I noticed she didn't bother to stop by our table to see how we were doing or ask about our food. She went to the other tables she had and asked them, got them refills and other things they have mentioned. I tried to make eye contact but she would ignore my eyes when we locked, even eyeballed our table and still didn't talk to us. Towards the end I noticed the hostess and our waitress talking and looking at us (assuming the hostess said something to her about us being finished with our food.) She then came to our table saying "I see you guys are full, here are your double deep fried Oreos" and passes off the check. When we gave her the card to pay for she then realized she had forgotten our drinks. which I do appreciate she comped our appetizer, gave us a discount and then made my drink (not her but yet again the hostess.) When my order arrived, the food was cold, which may have been more of a DoorDash issue since the delivery took quite a while. However, the bigger problem was the roll itself. The fish tasted terrible--so bad that I spit it out. I've had this roll many times before and know what it should taste like, and this was definitely not right. On top of that, I was missing a crab rangoon. When I tried to resolve it through DoorDash, they only offered a partial refund, so I called the restaurant directly. The employee I spoke with was argumentative from the start. When I explained that the roll was cold, soggy, and tasted like bad fish, he had excuse after excuse for why it was that way. The reality is that the food was not edible, and I had to spend more money to get something else to eat. As for the missing crab rangoon, he insisted that he personally packed my order and knew it was in the bag. He repeatedly told me he put it in there and suggested the DoorDash driver must have taken it. I told him I didn't care who put it in the bag--the point is that it wasn't in my order when it arrived. Instead of trying to help or make it right, he argued with me and basically accused someone else of stealing it. Mistakes happen, but poor customer service and refusing to take concerns seriously are what earned this review. I won't be ordering from here again.

I estimate there was .5 of an ounce of chicken, which was just a plain, unseasoned single slice of white meat. It was definitely not chashu chicken, which is pressed, rolled, seasoned and steamed or simmered. There were about 4 bean sprouts, 3 tiny slices of onion, and no bok choy. There was about an ounce of corn and about a half a package worth of ramen. The broth was the biggest disappointment. It had almost no flavor at all....no salt, no seasoning, no meat flavor. There was nothing savory or satisfying to it at all. The bowl was about room temperature. The broth tasted almost like lukewarm water had been poured into the bowl to clean some leftovers. The prices are shockingly high for this kind of food. A ramen bar is supposed to be fast, reasonably priced, and satisfying.
