Great food, great service. Both dishes were great, and there was plenty to take home for left overs

DELICIOUS! Affordable! Don't let the inside/location fool you, it's great! Only thing is I wish the noodles weren't cooked as much.

Finally got to try this place and was happy I did! Lincoln needs more Thai options so I'm glad I can trade off this place with Blessings on N. 27th. Prices super reasonable ($10-$12 range) for tons of food! As it was my first time I have to get my favorite curries, so we tried red and panang curry with chicken and both were good. I love the kick of panang and the flavor of the fresh kaffir lime leaves, we are spice freaks so we got our dishes hot and it was a good heat level. We also tried spring rolls! I'll be back to try more things on the menu sometime soon!

I love the food here. the service was also good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was great when i went in person[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Genuinely one of the most authentic and delicious Thai restaurants that I've ever been to! I was passing through the city during a road trip, and it was such a pleasant surprise to find such a hidden gem in the middle of Nebraska. The restaurant really doesn't look like much, but don't let the run-down exterior and slightly sketchy neighboring gas station scare you away. The service is absolutely incredible; our server was incredibly kind, warm, welcoming, and helpful, and she was super helpful with answering our questions and accommodating my dietary restrictions. And the food...wow. Truly some of the best papaya salad and tom yum that I've ever had in my life. My parents thoroughly enjoyed the pad thai and pad woon sen, although the dishes were a little too salty for their taste. One thing I will note, though, is that Asian Taste's spice levels are pretty legitimate (this is definitely a spice level scale catered toward a Thai person's taste buds)...their "spicy" level is actually quite hot, so definitely be prepared for the dishes to bring on the heat. All in all, Asian Taste was (shockingly) one of the highlights of my trip to Lincoln, and if I ever find myself in the city again, I will definitely drop by again.

Red curry which included a total of 2 shrimp and some Pencil-eraser sized 'scallops'

I'm in town for business and love Thai food; I try to sample some in every city I visit. After reading the 23 5/5 star ratings, I was excited to try this place. The location next to a grubby convenience store / gas station on a lower level strip mall with a person living out of their car parked next to me should have been a red flag. Being seated in what could serve as a coat closet with 3 tables by myself, lit by a 1990s chandelier with 4/7 working bulbs of various brightness should also have been a flag. I ordered Thai boba tea which was syrupy but fine and red curry with scallops and shrimp. The curry had fresh veggies which were good, and contained a total of 2 skinny shrimp and 9 pencil-eraser-sized scallops...or pieces of them. The sauce was flavorful but watery. The hostess / waitress was very pleasant and friendly. Service was slow. It does feel like I'm in a small village restaurant in Thailand, though. I would not revisit this restaurant.

Best pad woon sen I've ever had. Everybody is nice, the food's always fresh and the flavors are out of this world. Great restaurant.

Arguably the most bland food I've ever eaten. Don't do it. Don't recommend at all. Not terrible, but not worth going to.

Seating is limited, but it feels cozy and intimate. The staff was outstanding from the greeter to the servers, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The menu has a great variety, from ramen and teriyaki boxes to rice dishes and sushi. We started with the soft shell crab appetizer, which was incredibly fresh with a light, perfectly crisp tempura batter. For our main course, we went with a selection of sushi, and it was phenomenal. The fish was extremely fresh, served at the perfect temperature, and every flavor paired beautifully. One thing I really appreciated is they don't smother their sushi in sauces, they let the freshness and quality of the fish speak for itself, the way it should. Quite possibly the best sushi in town!!

As appetisers We ordered fried calamari, it's only now that I realized I didn't grab a pix of the calamari. It was decent with a creamy sriracha sauce. I then had my agadashi tofu. It was crisp and nice. The batter could be lighter and the tofu could be the softer kind... - to me that would be nirvana. But for this- it was good. My handroll and sushi was fresh and delicious. It was a good afternoon with the good food My drink happy sumo- was nice just didn't really do it for me though. Ambiance was nice and zen. I like it. We will be back.

We were seated immediately and our server was very polite and nice. There is a variety of seating available and we got a table with one side being a bench seat and I got a chair. The chair was not very stable and if you leaned back you could fall. I'm quite small, as long as I didn't lean back I was good. The decor looked like a cross between industrial and a pub, not neccessarily a japanese restaurant. The restaurant has a full bar with mixed drinks, red and white wine and beer. There is all you can eat sushi - but we didnt order that as we were not that hungry. Hubby ordered a diet coke and I got japanese jasmine tea. Yamamoto yama tea that came in a nice ceramic pot with a ceramic cup. Drinks came promptly. We ordered age tofu, and fried spring rolls for appetisers. Age tofu was crispy and sauce for it was good. But the age tofu that I'm used to had a much lighter batter which i prefer. The spring rolls were a tad cool to touch- and mushy inside ( feels like something frozen then fried and left there - then lightly refried. ) not made fresh to order. We ordered the Kasumi and Nebraska. Sushi was well wrapped- combination of rice to ingredients ratio was good. Sriracha on sushi was a little odd. Both hubby and I agreed we liked the Nebraska roll a little better than the Kasumi. Condition of the restaurant - could be improved. Service - decent Food - oķ but not great. Might not be back so soon.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would…read more I ordered through DoorDash and got the same roll I order all the time. I've never had an issue until today. When my order arrived, the food was cold, which may have been more of a DoorDash issue since the delivery took quite a while. However, the bigger problem was the roll itself. The fish tasted terrible--so bad that I spit it out. I've had this roll many times before and know what it should taste like, and this was definitely not right. On top of that, I was missing a crab rangoon. When I tried to resolve it through DoorDash, they only offered a partial refund, so I called the restaurant directly. The employee I spoke with was argumentative from the start. When I explained that the roll was cold, soggy, and tasted like bad fish, he had excuse after excuse for why it was that way. The reality is that the food was not edible, and I had to spend more money to get something else to eat. As for the missing crab rangoon, he insisted that he personally packed my order and knew it was in the bag. He repeatedly told me he put it in there and suggested the DoorDash driver must have taken it. I told him I didn't care who put it in the bag--the point is that it wasn't in my order when it arrived. Instead of trying to help or make it right, he argued with me and basically accused someone else of stealing it. Mistakes happen, but poor customer service and refusing to take concerns seriously are what earned this review. I won't be ordering from here again.

They dont have all drinks on the menu and the menu is not updated. They did tell us what was not available but was a generic dont have these and just slid his fingers on the menu. I finally got an iced lemon tea. We initially ordered egg rolls and a hot pot. We ordered spicy soup together with bok choy fungus( wood ear mushrooms) Beef, spam, fishballs and jumbo shrimp and egg noodles with a side of white rice. The soup came with a burner and it wasnt powerful enough to boil the soup on the pot. The pot had no definite style to it. Tasted like soy bean soup with some sichuan peppers. Not excessively spicy and not very flavourful. Our ingredients took a long while to come out- and our egg rolls eventually never came. Practically all the ingredients were frozen with the exception of the fungi and the egg noodles. The sauce station looks thrown together with takeout containers and plenty of sauce. The bbq sauce had part of a spoon which was broken off in the sauce. The sauces are similar to haidilao type just not as fresh. But the chives looked a little greyish. Overall, service is not fantastic. We did remind them multiple times about the egg rolls, but it still didn't ever arrive. They at least took it off the bill. We forgot to check about the missing bakchoy. Not sure we will be back anytime soon. Hubby wasn't quite happy with our dinner last night.
