I thought everything here was really good , the sushi was delicious and the service was great we had a big party and the waiter was very patient and made us feel comfortable and not rushed , she also let us know that since we were a big party they would charge 18% gratuity to the bill which I thought was nice to advise prior to us ordering which she did . This has been one of my favorite places to eat for the past 7 years... unfortunately they've outgrown they're space. It's super crammed most of the time, and yes, the layout isn't very friendly for those who haven't been seated yet. Also, they've practically doubled all their prices but still claim 50% off - doubling what I used to pay, so I probably won't be going back as often as I typically would. They're kind, but busy and the food is good even if they're just selling it for regular price and calling it a 50% deal so you feel better about yourself. read more

I'm a bit upset with this place right now. We walked in around 4. Yes it's packed and my family and I are waiting patiently. One of the waitresses asks if we can give her 10minutes. Ok sure. The same waitress comes not even a minute later and tells us to wait outside. Excuse me? I straight out told her no. It's windy and cold outside. Came here this past Saturday, had a craving for sushi so we decided to eat here since our stop was in the area. This was my first time here, I wasn't too convinced given the reviews, but my friend had been there various times and said it was worth the try. We got there at 9, and were told they would stop serving at 9:30, which was to be expected since we did get there late so that wasn't an issue for us. Tons of choices, so we were overwhelmed just a bit since we pretty much wanted to get one of everything. We ended up getting a shrimp tempura roll, salmon crunch roll (delicious), tiger roll, and the spicy tuna roll. Once we had our rolls I realized we didn't get much variety, they looked the same but our fault next time we know, but each roll still had its own twist. We got everything in a timely manner, our server was cool and attentive. Location was not that bad either. Our drinks (ice tea) were probably the only bad part, they were metallic tasting so we stuck to water. Since it was late, we probably had gotten the last of the tea. It's not a too fancy sushi spot but the taste had surpassed my expectation. The happy hour is all day everyday 1/2 on every roll. read more

This place is really good. I'm from San Diego and quality ranks with some of my favorite places there. I would of gave 5 stars but on my 3rd round of sushi they took 30 minutes for me to finally ask 'Sorry but are they making my roll'. They weren't and when I said I had to leave the waitress said they could make it to go since they completely forgot about me. Then she came back and said they couldn't. I was going to tip $20 dollars but since I only got 3 of the 5 rolls I ordered I couldn't. This has never happened to me. Out of respect I still tipped $5. It would of been cheaper if I got the full price rolls instead of the all you can eat. I'm not sure why they did that too me. I only got 3 rolls in total. I'm only writing this since as a manager of people myself I feel the management should know about how they handled this situation. Good quality of food but this mishap spoiled the experience. I'll still give you 3 stars because the food was great. But please be more cognizant of how to handle a situation like this. read more

I love this place. It is one of my favorite sushi places and the price doesn't hurt. But it could use a little bit more uniformity with the waitstaff I always feel like I don't know whose my waitress/ waiter and getting someone sometimes takes awhile. I get that you get busy I would love to get an answer and have them tell me to hold not just ignore my call or hang up on me after they pick up. There were 3 tables available. It makes no difference if you're going to have to wait but they rather have their customers wait outside in instead.
