The food was fine. When we were given the food that we didnt even order. The waitresses were so rude to us. Staring at us constantly with disgusted looks on their faces. I have never felt so uncomfortable eating in a restaurant before. I have been going to Ninja Sushi for three year and this is by far the worst visit I have ever experienced. I'm not sure if it's under new management but I didnt recognize any of the waitresses this visit. So they must be new. They sure acted like they were new. Forgetting to bring me what I ordered then bringing me the wrong order three times. I bought almost $200 worth of sushi for my family that attended with me. I was so embarrassed to bring my family to this restaurant after I had talked Ninja Sushi up so much. I will never be going back there again sadly to say because of the horrible service I was given. I hope that people thinking to eat there find this review helpful if they are looking to have better service than I was given. read more

I'm torn kind of. The first 2 times we went was great, good quality and fast except their water is disgusting. But the last time I don't know what happened if it was the 1 server they had or the chefs but my sister and I were in there for no less than 3 hours! No joke. I think in that time we ordered less than 10 rolls and still after 3 hrs hadn't even received 8 of them. So we just figured they forgot about us cuz ww couldnt get the waitresses attention. We just said forget it. We were hungry but afraid to ask for the rest of our food for fear that we wouldn't get it anyway. So we left hungry and mad from all you can eat. This is one of my favorite places for sushi in the area, it always tastes good and fresh. I don't recomend ordering the octopus roll here, it's too chewy for me and my boyfriend says it is not a good representation of a well prepared octopus. the rest of the rolls are yummy, though. The first time we went there, we almost didn't come back because one of the chefs yelled at the waitress in front of everyone, but there hasn't been any similiar incidents since, so hopefully that was a one time occurance. read more

I've always loved going there but the last two times they would not seat us because it was 8:20 pm and they close at 9:00. I've never heard of a restaurant turning people away that much time before closing time. The first time it happened I thought it must of just been a weird night. Excellent food my favorite is the viking and ninja rolls! Their prices are the best i've seen at any, yes ANY sushi restaurant i've ever been too! I'd recommend sitting at the bar. They may be crowded depending on the time but the experience is worth it. Great times and people. Is my favorite sushi place and a go to restaurant! They often have new rolls from the sushi chefs, which is why id recommend sitting at the bar so that you can inquire about them. The beverages are on point from the sake to the genmaicha. TBH i'd give a 4.5 only because i've never been to a single 5 star establishment in my life , in my opinion at least, but i found it fitting to round up for this place because they truly deserve it. read more

Not that great on sushi. Sushi means rice and the rice here that they use on the sushi is just plain rice. I was sceptical about their sushi so I got the Benton special. It came with miso soup which tasted like water and green onions. I ordered the pork katsu which was over cooked and dry. I also ordered the spicy tuna roll and a calamari roll. Both was once again made with the plain rice. I had green tea with the meal and I was thinking it'll be in a pot but instead it was just hot water and a tea bag. I would pass on this spot. It lacks flavor and is plain. I would only suggest this place if you want cheap drinks and a lot of plain rice with your fish. read more

This place is our favorite up in the High Desert. We never bother with anything else, except the all you can eat menu. I personally would give this place a 4 star review, however, my wife and kids think otherwise. It's no "Sushi Gen", like down in Little Tokyo, but we still like it. The servers sometimes become a little overwhelmed, but they still deliver. The Sashimi is pretty fresh, and beer is pretty cold. read more

This place is straight trash horrible service! They close at 10 o'clock we got there around 8:40 I guess that pissed them off. The chef that was there was staring at us the whole time. The sushi was horrible the service was horrible, They were too busy cleaning the place so they can close early I guess, it took them like 20 minutes to take our order on top of that she told us last call was 915 and they close at 10! I came here because a friend told me about it. I expected it to be great but it was ok. This place is more about popcorn/fried stuff rolls rather than anything else. Nigiri looked like it was cut by a butter knife considering how ragged some of the pieces were and regular rolls were falling apart and all different shapes. Sashimi didnt seem super fresh either with a lot of it already having been pre-sliced in their display. Service was subpar. We didnt have much trouble but the waitresses all seemed to forget about the table next to us and they kept missing orders for them. Overall, it was ok but if you want any kind of raw fish, i'd say go elsewhere. read more

My boyfriend introduced this sushi place to me while I was visiting him and his family. It was very busy when we arrived, and the service was pretty slow too. I didn't mind the wait because I wasn't hungry at that time... But when our order came on the table, I was in heaven! Probably the best sushi I've ever had!!! I even asked my boyfriend to take me there the next day and it was still mouth watering haha. When I come back to visit him, I'm definitely going to ask him to take me here for another sushi date. :) Update: I guess the place has some new chefs because I've never seen their faces before. The sushi rolls are quite different from what I remember... Still good tho. The only thing I was confused about was the way they greeted me and my fiance when we stopped by... They mocked Asian phrases and talked down about their business saying they don't even know what kind of food they served, then laughed about it. Quite unprofessional on that part. Made me wonder if they even like their job as a sushi chef... Hope they improve or find better sushi chefs who actually loves their customers without sounding like a bunch of monkeys. read more

Came in with my family, service was super slow, probably some of the worst service I've ever experienced. Took forever for our food to arrive, guests that came in well after us seemed to get their food quicker. Servers never asked us if we needed more water, etc. I think their problem is they don't know if they want to be a restaurant or fast food place, they are so busy prepping the to-go orders that the customer service for the dine in guests suffer greatly. The sushi is ok. The service is lacking. And the prices are confusing. Some things are ayce, others are not. But there is nothing showing what is on the ayce menu. So you order it and half the rolls arent available. Then you end up paying more than if you had just ordered the rolls you wanted. Totally bait and switch. We wont be back. read more
