I would like to give this place a higher rating because the food was pretty good however the service was two thumbs down.

I'm not going to lie...I was disappointed to see Osaka(the former restaurant)go. However, I quickly forgot about why and have found my new favorite Japanese/hibachi restaurant in central Arkansas! #jalapeñofriedrice We couldn't decide what to begin with so we went with pan fried dumplings. The. Best. They were perfectly golden on the outside, but that bite in the middle was perfection. Of course, I dipped it in the sauce I call, heaven. Our waitress came right back to the table and joked with us about how quickly we devoured them. She said, "so, dumplings were a good choice!" She had recommended them. :) I could skip the salad anywhere, but thoroughly enjoyed the onion soup. Then, the winner. The big boy. The plate of all plates. Filet Mignon hibachi platter. Yummy!! I paid $1 more and got jalapeño fried rice and it was fantastic. Just the kick I was hoping for. Now, we ordered sushi, too. We tried the Capital, Krazy, and the dynamite rolls. #justorderthreecapitalrolls y'all!! Delicious. read more

The food here is awesome. My wife and I got the tiger roar and the steak hibachi. The tiger roar is packed with goodies and tastes great. My steak hibachi had good portion size. The fried rice was delicious and the steak was done just right. The owner greeted us personally and was super friendly and generous! We are definitely coming back! read more

Best sushi in Little Rock. Beats kemuri and sushi cafe. The cuts are fresh and the names are clever. The rolls are good, as well as the sashimi and nigiri. Food is good, but owner is rude. Orders are never ready at the promised time. This last order will be my last. Ordered online through menudo and received an email after making initial payment that my card was charged an additional $5.55. When I get to the restaurant I asked about it. I was told it was because I requested to replace onion with zucchini. Not because of product cost, but labor. The number was on the order and a courtesy call could have been made to ask if I wanted to pay $5.55 to substitute onion for zucchini. The owner also told me no one is making you order from here. I didn't leave the order there because this is what my children wanted for dinner. However, the owner is correct no one is making me order from his restaurant. So I will never do it again. I am also disputing the additional charge on my card because I wasn't notified prior and did not authorize it. I refuse to patronize a restaurant that has such rude ownership. read more

Prefer this restaurant under previous management. Still OK but service is extremely slow. The sushi is moderately priced.

Not clean AT ALL.....sticky surfaces everywhere and on top of that the same music playing on repeat....time to step on Ninja Sushi. Service could be so much better. read more

My husband ordered the Big Dam Bridge, his favorite roll from another sushi place we eat frequently. He said this was the best he's ever had. We also ordered the Monkey Brain, Philly Roll, California Roll, and the King Kong roll. The last 3 rolls were in a lunch combo. They were all amazing! We will definitely be back. read more

Visited this location last night with my hubs and sis-in-law. Ambiance was welcoming and the time from order to food hitting the table was swift. We ordered various sushi, hibachi, and an app - all of which ranged from pretty good to great. Our server was attentive and responsive. My only complaint was when our soups/salads was brought out our server did so by carrying our bowls with her thumb down inside the bowl. I actually watched the soup slosh against her finger as she brought it to the table. No. Just no. Needless to say I can't comment on the soup as I sent it back. read more

Ate here last night for the first time & really enjoyed our meals! Husband & I both had hibachi dinners with steak, shrimp, & fried rice. The dinners also come with salad & soup. I thought the salad was delicious with the ginger dressing and especially loved that they didn't drown the salad with the dressing. The meat was well cooked & flavorful; shrimp was my favorite! Fried rice & vegetables were delicious as well. Our son has a food allergy, which I mentioned to our server. He was incredibly thoughtful and mindful of this when he brought dishes out--that is greatly appreciated! He also was such a good server overall. We started our meal with an appetizer of pan fried dumplings--so good! Obviously, we had a great experience here & look forward to returning. read more

First of all I love this restaurant and I love the food. I'm here at least once a week but I feel upset because I don't feel comfortable eating in the restaurant. This is due to your employee Kyle. He flirts with customers and he is very rude. I had an outside drink and no one said anything, he stomped up all cocky and said some of the rudest words I've ever heard a waiter say to a customer. I would understand if he was nice but he wasn't. I've heard lots of complaints of him being inappropriate with custand thought he was fired. I really love this restaurant and am just sad I can't come and eat in here more often. read more

Not sure what's going on with this place. We came in and one other couple was in the entire restaurant. The server helping them was picking up their ticket after they paid and within ear shot of us said "we have another location and they don't understand how coupons work so I'll let you keep this one to use there too" "oh ya that server doesn't work here anymore because I got in a fist fight with him, I made sure it was on camera so he'd get in trouble" "our head chef went to our new restaurant, that ones much better than this one because in the back here we no longer have quality control." Two other people came in in the meantime and the one other server helped them. He said to the couple he was still helping "Ive gotta go help them, oh never mind she's got them." Completely ignoring us, we sat there for another five minutes while he continued talking about himself, and then got up and left out of frustration. I gave the place a try after the recent change from Osaka to Ninja. I came during lunch and had a typical sushi roll lunch. Food was decent and one of the rolls had way to much sauce on it that over powered the roll and it just tasted like spicy mayo. I will probably go back sometime to get it another go but I would have expected much better sushi like their sister restaurant downtown. read more

I LOVE Ninja. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is fantastic. The location is perfect. The waitstaff is typically really great, especially Madison. She always gets my order right and she is always so happy and cheerful. Definitely need to find more servers like her. The only reason why I refuse to give this place a 5 star rating is because of one server in specific, Kyle. He seems just a bit overbearing and rude, like he's better than everyone. He's really slow and takes practically forever to get to the table. As I said, he's the reason for this place not having a 5 star. read more

My girlfriend and I went to Ninja for the first time two days ago. Per our waiter, Kyle's, suggestion, we had the two roll chef's special with the Ichiro roll and crazy tuna roll for $25, which came with a salad for each of us. We also had the shrimp tempura roll. Our original selection was more expensive and included very similar rolls, but thanks to Kyle we saved at least $5, our meal was very diverse, and absolutely delicious! We were so pleased we came back to Ninja tonight! We started with an appetizer of scallop and eel nigiri with a yellowtail roll with added jalapeño, at Kyle's suggestion, that tasted amazing. Then we had the same $25 special with the Godzilla roll and ichiro roll and two miso soups. We can't choose a favorite roll because all have been so delicious, possibly the best sushi we've ever had, and Kyles suggestions and friendly banter made the experience especially enjoyable. We will be back whenever we can! Seek out Kyle as your server. He made the dining experience one worth repeating! read more
