Gave this place a try since all of my favorite boba places were farther than I felt like driving on a rainy Saturday. This was my first time, their shop is connected to a restaurant. Its very small but really cute, it has its own character..its very unique in a good way. So I've been to Ninja Tea twice now. The first time I just came for the bubble tea and the second and most recent time I ordered from them through Kappo Nara. My first visit was met with very pleasant staff and delicious bubble tea. I remember being really impressed with how flavorful it was. However, when I ordered my tea from them through Kappo Nara with my dinner, it really fell flat for my SO and I. She got the Mango Milk Bubble Tea and I got the Taro Milk Bubble Tea. Both of ours were extremely bland and barely had any taste at all. Our drinks came out quickly which was nice. I was just really looking for more taste to it. I know it's a milk tea but it honestly just tasted like milk with tapioca balls and the slightest hint of taro flavor. The same went for my SO's mango. Since it's not as pricey as some places in the area, I'm not opposed to trying them out again next time I'm at Kappo Nara, but I definitely don't see myself coming out this way just for the tea from here. read more

Absolutely amazing. I love their tapioca not only that but there is a specific women that works there she is lovely she's very thorough with the drinks and doesn't miss any items. The place is pretty well kept and has some really cool Naruto posters when you pick up your drink. All the staff are great but I usually go in the early afternoon. read more

Had a good balance of flavor with the cinnamon,milk and tea flavor! It was our first time trying Boba from Ninja Tea because we heard there were better flavors. We especially wanted to try the Horchata milk tea. So my husband had ordered the Horchata and I had added that I wanted the milk tea of that because some places there's slush and yogurt. The lady said okay and so we waited quite a bit but when we got the order we were wondering why it was dark brown so we had left and driven off realizing the order was wrong and they gave us Dirty Chocolate milk tea. Not sure what had happened because we were the only ones there so it wasn't a mix up with anyone else's order so we were really disappointed with that experience. I was having ramen next door(really next room as they share the space/are the same place) and stopped by to grab a bubble tea on the way out. The girl at the counter was so helpful and recommended the rose but I wanted add ins so she said it might alter the taste. I settled on the coconut milk tea with mango jelly and popping boba. I told her I liked it sweet but not overly so and she made it perfect. Only complaint is it went down too easy. Next time in the area I would be sure to come back! read more

I tried ninja tea for the first time today and I can say I'm not impressed. I got the mango swirl with tapioca balls and it was very icy and super sweet. The price is very much below what other places are so that's a really good thing as well as very nice employees. I got Taro Tea with Boba and a Thai Tea with Boba. Both were competitively priced, but the flavor just wasn't there. The Taro tea tasted like Cereal Milk and not Taro Tea. The Thai Tea was alright, but didn't taste authentic. It's not terrible, I just wouldn't go out of my way to go back. read more

I've tried two of fruit teas which are rather refreshing mango green tea with mango jelly and the lychee green tea. I've tried one slushie which was the white peach (with pearls). I'm looking forward to exploring more of the menu options. A relative of mine loves the taro slushie with the pearls. I haven't tried all of the boba spots in VB but this place in my opinion comes second place to KFT and that's saying a lot! Staff was very friendly and answered my questions. The horchata was good and different, never had it at any of the boba shops around here. I ordered the Hot Taro, it was good but it just wasn't my fav bc it tasted like like fruit loops. But I liked how their teas are actually made with tea and taste like it too! Some shops to me just taste like milk and powdered flavor and I can't taste the tea at all. This boba shop also has interesting concepts like their "Dirty tea." I think the cashier described it as milk, the specific flavor, and brown sugar which makes it "dirty." My first time here, I arrived at 11:52am, which surprised me since their hours online and on their business card state that they open at 11:30am. I went to run some errands and then we came back later. I ordered a milk tea for my son and a green milk tea for me, both with tapioca. The wait was a bit longer than I expected. The flavor was really on point; the tapioca balls were the smaller ones but still good in flavor. Another couple before me seemed to be waiting forever for some hot tea, which I overheard that they were still boiling water). I was meeting a group of friends at Kappo Nara and Ninja Tea is a part of that establishment. When we first arrived, my son and his girlfriend were sitting in Ninja Tea, waiting for our table. My son told me to taste his Rose Milk tea because he was raving about it. It was pretty good, so he ordered a hot black tea for me. Since I'm a rookie at this, I did not realized that you can determine the amount of sweetener that is added. It took a really long time to get it, so we went and sat at our table. After 30 minutes or so, my son went to check on my order, because they typically find you in the restaurant and deliver it to your table. Even after he checked on it, it still took them another 15 minutes to bring it to me. It was sickeningly sweet, to the point where it probably sent my blood sugar sky high! I will try them again, the next time we're at Kappa Nara, however this time around, I'll be empowered with the knowledge that I can control how sweet I want my tea. I am a tea connoisseur, who appreciates fairly strong tea (preferably black), with a small amount of sugar and milk (English Style).
