Omg! I love their Hong Kong Style Milk Tea!!!! It's hard to find a bubble tea place that makes Hong Kong style and actually ble to make it taste like so and is good! This place got it. It sure reminds me of HK style when I took that first sip. I wish I went back and grab another cup. I didn't get a chance to try out how good their ramen is, so sad. If I am visiting again, I will definitely try their ramen and grab at least 2 cups if HK Style Milk Tea to go. One thing I wish this place would have is egg waffles too. HK style egg waffles I mean.

The location is attached to a restaurant which works out. While waiting you can grab a drink. The kids and I all ordered different drinks and we enjoyed them all.

This is my favorite boba stop so far. It is connected to Kappo Nara Ramen, and you can get a good meal with your tasty drink. I often come here on the way home from class at TCC. The fruit tea here is made just how I like it. It's like a really yummy juice. I wish they had more options for add-ins, but my go to order is Mango Green Tea with mango popping boba & jelly and I really like it. Next time, I really want to try the Oreo milk tea because I keep forgetting it's non-dairy! I haven't tried a whole lot of the food, but the shumai and the waffle fries are delicious. Plenty of shrimp in the dumplings. I get them fried, and they're deliciously crispy and chewy. The waffle fries are a huge portion for me. They're fried super crispy and are flavorful. It comes at a great price, too. I always look forward to stopping by here. Best boba around!!!

Bummer! I really wanted to like Ninja Tea, but my drink was undrinkable. It was unfortunate, since I love milk tea and was in need of caffeine. But it was hard for me to enjoy my beverage. We came here for some afternoon beverages, and when I saw the menu, I asked about the Hong Kong Milk Tea, asking if it's a silk stocking tea, made with a net. The employee said it wasn't, so I just went with their basic house milk tea, the Ninja Tea. There was another customer who also ordered the Ninja Tea, and when they handed him his drink I was worried that mine would look like his because his milk tea looked more white than brown, as if there had been too much milk with. Unfortunately, that was the case with mine too. My tea had wayyy too much milk. I stirred it up, hoping to taste more tea and could barely taste any. It was nearly all milk. Yikes! I ended up throwing most of it away. Unfortunately, I would not recommend visiting Ninja Tea if you want a strong milk tea.

I was craving boba (as always) so I checked yelp to see if there was one close by. There happened to be one 3mins away from where I was and I didn't even know it existed. The reviews looked good so I decided to it a try. I wanted in and it was a cute little bubble tea spot. It was also connected to the restaurant next door - kappa narra ramen. I ordered my usual hot wintermelon milk green tea with bubbles and also ordered the green tea with bubbles and a strawberry yogurt drink with mango jelly. My drink tasted good but it did have a hint of a flowery tea after taste. My kids drank theirs fast and liked it. I think this is a good alternative from my fave spot if I'm in the area.

So glad Koppo Nara Ramen expanded to add a tea house to their shop! The owners are so friendly and helpful in navigating the wide variety of drinks on their menu. My go-to drink is usually a taro slush, but recently have started trying more eclectic flavors. One of my new faves is the Rose milk tea. It has a hint of floral flavor, and the tea is delicious. I take it less sweet and it is perfect. I also tried the Macau Royal Milk Tea which is tasty more sweet. Looking forward to trying more flavors! Update: my new favorite is the Tokyo Love, 25% sweet. I really like the Boba from here! There's plenty of flavors to choose from and seeing myself visiting often when I can't get to my #1 spot. No need to rush as there's plenty of space to stay a while and play board games that's provided. The young lady behind the counter wasn't helpful in answering any question I had. After I placed my order, I asked her can they change the sugar level? She said normally yes, but she started my drink so it was too late to do that. I didn't see any signs where you can change the sugar level so if they're not going to provide that info they should be asking customer upon ordering until you know you can. Anywhoo... can't wait to try more Teas!!

I came here on a Saturday with my daughter to try their teas. I decided on a coconut milk tea with tapioca and peach pearls. The lady at the counter was really ice and very knowledgable of their teas. They had a number of teas that we were not familiar with and she was able to describe them all to us. Mine was good. Nothing spectacular but good. She also gave us 2 coupons for our next visit. I would go back when I'm in the area, but to be honest, there was nothing that stood out in memory to me.

Way, way, WAYYY too sweet. I ordered a horchata (with 50% less sugar!) and added tapioca pearls. I couldn't even get through 3 sips of my drink and had to throw it away :( It was sickeningly sweet, like there was half a cup of sugar in there. And I even asked for less sugar.. yikes! The horchata mix was also gross - a very artificial vanilla flavor that was not at all enjoyable. The ladies working the counter were friendly and helpful. My advice to management: reduce the amount of sugar in the recipe! It's honestly not even palatable, and this is coming from someone who very much enjoys sweet things. The person who I came with ordered a mango lemonade with 75% less sugar and even that was way too sweet. I was also told that all of their milk teas were made with oolong tea. Would have appreciated more caffeine-free options.

Cute little boba shop! I tried the Lychee Green Tea and Taro Milk Tea. Both were pretty good!

Kappo Nara has deserts, but it's attached to Ninja Tea so you have a sweet drink as an option as well

Gave this place a try since all of my favorite boba places were farther than I felt like driving on a rainy Saturday. This was my first time, their shop is connected to a restaurant. Its very small but really cute, it has its own character..its very unique in a good way. Placing my order was fast and getting my drinks didn't take very long the flavor was a teensy bit unwilling BUT it satisfied my boba craving, would I come back? maybe its worth checking out if your close and need your boba fix though. read more

So I've been to Ninja Tea twice now. The first time I just came for the bubble tea and the second and most recent time I ordered from them through Kappo Nara. My first visit was met with very pleasant staff and delicious bubble tea. I remember being really impressed with how flavorful it was. However, when I ordered my tea from them through Kappo Nara with my dinner, it really fell flat for my SO and I. She got the Mango Milk Bubble Tea and I got the Taro Milk Bubble Tea. Both of ours were extremely bland and barely had any taste at all. Our drinks came out quickly which was nice. I was just really looking for more taste to it. I know it's a milk tea but it honestly just tasted like milk with tapioca balls and the slightest hint of taro flavor. The same went for my SO's mango. Since it's not as pricey as some places in the area, I'm not opposed to trying them out again next time I'm at Kappo Nara, but I definitely don't see myself coming out this way just for the tea from here. read more

Absolutely amazing. I love their tapioca not only that but there is a specific women that works there she is lovely she's very thorough with the drinks and doesn't miss any items. The place is pretty well kept and has some really cool Naruto posters when you pick up your drink. All the staff are great but I usually go in the early afternoon. read more

Great first time experience at Ninja Tea! Attached right next to Kappo Ramen,Ninja Tea offers a variety of milk teas,fruit teas,slushies and specialty drinks.Went here with my friend and we were greeted right away as we walked in,the staff are so friendly and are knowledgeable about their menu.I ordered the horchata milk tea with boba and it was so delicious! Had a good balance of flavor with the cinnamon,milk and tea flavor! The boba was cooked perfectly and not chewy and over cooked like some places.My friend ordered the honey dew milk tea with star jelly and he liked his too,didn't taste all sweet and powdery like most places have.Personally for me,the best boba place in the VB area since I'm not a fan of the KFT here.Cant wait to go back next time I'm in the area to try more flavors! :) read more

It was our first time trying Boba from Ninja Tea because we heard there were better flavors. We especially wanted to try the Horchata milk tea. So my husband had ordered the Horchata and I had added that I wanted the milk tea of that because some places there's slush and yogurt. The lady said okay and so we waited quite a bit but when we got the order we were wondering why it was dark brown so we had left and driven off realizing the order was wrong and they gave us Dirty Chocolate milk tea. Not sure what had happened because we were the only ones there so it wasn't a mix up with anyone else's order so we were really disappointed with that experience. Don't get me wrong it was good but just not what we wanted. But we want to try it again and make sure this time it's what we ordered. read more

I was having ramen next door(really next room as they share the space/are the same place) and stopped by to grab a bubble tea on the way out. The girl at the counter was so helpful and recommended the rose but I wanted add ins so she said it might alter the taste. I settled on the coconut milk tea with mango jelly and popping boba. I told her I liked it sweet but not overly so and she made it perfect. Only complaint is it went down too easy. Next time in the area I would be sure to come back! read more

I tried ninja tea for the first time today and I can say I'm not impressed. I got the mango swirl with tapioca balls and it was very icy and super sweet. The price is very much below what other places are so that's a really good thing as well as very nice employees. The only reason why it's not five stars is because the flavor lacks, it's literally sugar water. read more

Love the bubble tea here! I haven't been in a little while but I heard they updated their menu where you can choose your sugar level like at most bubble tea places. I got Taro Tea with Boba and a Thai Tea with Boba. Both were competitively priced, but the flavor just wasn't there. The Taro tea tasted like Cereal Milk and not Taro Tea. The Thai Tea was alright, but didn't taste authentic. It's not terrible, I just wouldn't go out of my way to go back. read more

I've tried two of fruit teas which are rather refreshing mango green tea with mango jelly and the lychee green tea. I've tried one slushie which was the white peach (with pearls). I'm looking forward to exploring more of the menu options. A relative of mine loves the taro slushie with the pearls. The staff is knowledgeable about the flavor options and offer honest opinions on their favs and not so favorites. read more

Great customer service! They give a 20% off discount if it's your first time there which is nice. The strawberry yogurt drink that I got is good and different than what I expected. I was expecting more of a yogurt taste but it's still good. I'm going to try the fruit tea next time. read more

I haven't tried all of the boba spots in VB but this place in my opinion comes second place to KFT and that's saying a lot! Staff was very friendly and answered my questions. The horchata was good and different, never had it at any of the boba shops around here. I ordered the Hot Taro, it was good but it just wasn't my fav bc it tasted like like fruit loops. But I liked how their teas are actually made with tea and taste like it too! Some shops to me just taste like milk and powdered flavor and I can't taste the tea at all. This boba shop also has interesting concepts like their "Dirty tea." I think the cashier described it as milk, the specific flavor, and brown sugar which makes it "dirty." Definitely wanna come back to try these! read more

With boba shops popping up all over Virginia Beach, this one is definitely one of the tops for unique (but very natural) flavors and toppings! Boba is made perfectly. Natural sweetness on point. Definitely need to come back to try their other flavors but the Macau Royal Milk Tea is amazing! Staff is very friendly and accommodating in answering any questions you may have. My first time here, I arrived at 11:52am, which surprised me since their hours online and on their business card state that they open at 11:30am. I went to run some errands and then we came back later. I ordered a milk tea for my son and a green milk tea for me, both with tapioca. The wait was a bit longer than I expected. The flavor was really on point; the tapioca balls were the smaller ones but still good in flavor. Another couple before me seemed to be waiting forever for some hot tea, which I overheard that they were still boiling water). I do believe in giving a place more chances, so I will definitely return to try more flavors. I love that it's close to my house but hate that they are closed on Sundays! read more

OMG, this place is amazing. This is the only Boba Tea place i go to in Va Beach. The only regret i have is not eating at Kappo Nara Ramen. Well, that gives us an excuse to come back and get more Ninja Tea after we get some Ramen and Takoyaki. read more

I've been coming to Kappa Nara for Ramen for a little over 6 months now. I just got back from a deployment to see that my favorite Ramen place has a Tea place attached to it! As boba tea is my absolute favorite, this was such a wonderful surprise. I ordered a Rose Milk tea and a Taro tea, both iced with boba. They are both delicious and the price- you cant beat it. This facility offers a 15% off discount to student and military, as well as BOGO Wednesdays. I will definitely be back. read more

Love the taro bubble tea. It's small and super clean spot to grab a bubble tea. There's only two or three tables with a few games you can play I assume while drinking your tea because you wouldn't have enough time waiting for your order. Always quick and friendly too! read more

I was meeting a group of friends at Kappo Nara and Ninja Tea is a part of that establishment. When we first arrived, my son and his girlfriend were sitting in Ninja Tea, waiting for our table. My son told me to taste his Rose Milk tea because he was raving about it. It was pretty good, so he ordered a hot black tea for me. Since I'm a rookie at this, I did not realized that you can determine the amount of sweetener that is added. It took a really long time to get it, so we went and sat at our table. After 30 minutes or so, my son went to check on my order, because they typically find you in the restaurant and deliver it to your table. Even after he checked on it, it still took them another 15 minutes to bring it to me. It was sickeningly sweet, to the point where it probably sent my blood sugar sky high! I will try them again, the next time we're at Kappa Nara, however this time around, I'll be empowered with the knowledge that I can control how sweet I want my tea. I am a tea connoisseur, who appreciates fairly strong tea (preferably black), with a small amount of sugar and milk (English Style). I also want to try out one of their Boba drinks, just because I've never tried it before. They have quite a large selection of flavors from which to choose. read more

Oh my goodness!!! This place is amazing!! People are so friendly and helpful. If you ever have any questions about the tastes and what something is, they help. Cindy is always so helpful, made me a small mix of one cause I was really on the fence. But it helped me great. Didnt like it much but the husband did and he got it. Get boba tea occasionally at other places so we tried this one out. Really good! Order did take a while to get, but the workers were all hustling to get things done. Though there were only two waiting for drinks in the shop, they were filling orders for people in the restaurant. I hadn't had dirty milk begore, so I asked some questions. I was given great explanations and her recommendation spot on. The dirty cofee milk with boba was fantastic. read more

I opted for a mango and taro cake (I love both of those flavors), and told them they can choose what they think is best for the rest of the cake. Looking back, I kinda wish I requested for taro for the top layer because I love the color purple, but it's all good! It was absolutely delicious, and my family very much enjoyed it as well! Already thinking about getting a cake here again :)
