    Blueberry Danish

Nino's pastry shop serves fresh baked goods including danishes, cakes, cannoli's, ect. If you like a good pastry with your tea or coffee in the morning this place is for you! The danishes are amazing! Soft, flavorful and priced at only $3.00 each.

Sad to see the quality go down after new ownership. The cakes are not decorated how they used to be. Instead of the beautiful buttercream flowers that were their staple on every cake...is now basic icing. Sprinkles are hardly an equal substitute for the always beautiful rosettes we used to get. Clearly cutting back on ingredients. The rebrand is also very commercial now and is lacking the small bakery feel. For the most part the pastries taste the same although sometimes I feel as if something is missing. Been going here since I was born so it's unfortunate! They also spelled the name wrong on the cake despite spelling it out twice to them.

Strawberry cheesecake from Ninos pastry in Hamilton NJ

We ordered a strawberry cheesecake for my son's birthday and it said "Happy 17 th birthday Noah". And we got this messy cake with delicious contents. We love Ninos pastries, almond cookies, chocolate ganache cakes, cannolis, etc but presentation counts too.

Ricotta cheesecake and chocolate truffle( both very good)

I finally tried this business and after 2 desserts can say I'm a fan. It's a small shop with only sweet items. I noticed various cookies and rugula, ready to fill cannoli , whole cakes and pies and slices of certain offerings. I bought the ricotta cheesecake and a chocolate truffle, both $4 each. The cheesecake was excellent, lighter filling than a typical one with a nice creamy texture and slight vanilla flavor, the crust was almost shortbread like, very good too. The chocolate truffle was coated in dark and the inside was moist and flavorful cake and a chocolate mousse cream. I would get both again. And the cost seemed reasonable, both were big enough to share. My one negative impression was that there was a very nice looking cherry pie sitting by the cash register uncovered. I'm not sure the reasoning behind this placement, and I wonder if it was an isolated event. I'll definitely come here again when quality desserts are needed.

This pastry shoppe is one of my favorites! My favorite item in the store is the walnut Cinnabon! I have recommended this perfect brunch item to several of my friends!

I came…read moreacross a post on social media about a magazine naming The Gingered Peach as one of the best bakeries in New Jersey. From there, I gave them a follow on social media and checked out their website. Sadly, the bakery is about an hour from where I live, but it's about 15-20 minutes from where I work. However, they usually close at 3 pm, which means I would be scrambling in right before they close or I may not make it at all. Bummer! Needless to say, I saw they do dessert orders for the holidays, so that was my golden opportunity! For Thanksgiving, I ordered a purple sweet potato pie and a banana pudding pie. I got to select the date that I'd be picking up my pies, which was on a day that I had to go to the office. During the week leading up to Thanksgiving, the bakery was closed for regular operations. They were only open for dessert pick ups. The pies were a hit! The banana pudding pie was everyone's favorite. Needless to say, for Christmas, a larger order was placed for banana pudding pie, salted honey pie, apple crumb pie, and mashed potato rolls. Now for Christmas, the bakery was open for regular operations and you had to pick up your pre-ordered desserts at their sister business, Melba Ice Creamery, around the corner. Because it was Christmas Eve and I already had a slew of sweets pre-ordered, I decided not to try to go to the bakery that day. Nevertheless, the goods were a hit again! The only downside is that the crust on the banana pudding pie was a little different the second time around, making it tougher to slice and get out of the pan. It was still tasty though! Would I return? Absolutely!

Case in point, Pillsbury's Tunnel of Fudge Bundt Cake contests in the late 60's/early 70's that brought the heretofore niche German ring cake to homemaker prominence in the US. The specter of the Pillsbury Dough Boy dressed as a latter day Burgher Meister/Meister Burgher was truly comedy gold. That doughy androgenous spokesthing was truly they/them before those designations were even on the cultural horizon. You might even say the Doughboy was the Ziggy Stardust of Package Goods marketing. He did however bring the Bundt Cake into the mainstream for which I am eternally grateful. All of which is to say that Nothing but Bundt Cakes is terrific offering these high density circular treats with enough sweet icing to melt your molars. Great stuff all around and in the bakery desert known as Princeton a very welcome addition. Five very easy stars.

The woman at the counter welcomed me and let me know they had samples of red velvet cake to try. After having their red velvet cake with chocolate chips inside, I loved how these did not. Even in small portions, the cake was amazing. A couple of days prior, I received an email about their new churro bundt cakes, so I already knew which one I wanted. I appreciated how the icing and chocolate drizzle were soft on top. The cake itself was moist (one thing they nail every time). The star of the show was the chocolate drizzle that oozed from the inside when you got to the center. This cake is easily a 10/10.
