The Banner Special never fails us. (big cheeseburger with bacon and fixings, fries, and a big drink or shake --lots of flavours to choose from). Better than 5 Guys across the street and cheaper too. Awesome onion rings and shakes!! My partner loved her Butterscotch Shake sooooo much, she is still talking about the damn thing. Butterscotch afterglow!! We were there after the lunch rush, and they were still being slammed with customers. The lass taking our order was so friendly and on top of everything. This girl hustled and worked!! Taking orders, wiping down tables, filling sauce containers, passing out orders, etc. She is one of the hardest working employees that I have seen in many ages!!! Next time, I will talk to the owners/ managers about her awesomeness. (They were too busy on the day of our visit, plus, it's a grand excuse to grab another amazing bacon cheeseburger and fries!!!). This burger joint is the best! Great food for a great deal. Every time I think of going across the street to try Five Guys Burgers & Fries, I see the price and say no way 'cause I can get an entire amazing meal at Nipps for the price of just their burger! It's a really popular place so many times the lines are long. The owner is such a cool guy that aims to please and has photos of fishing trips all over, but there is also a drive through. I really enjoy Nipps. I have eaten here a few times with my father-in-law and my brother-in-law and just love the burgers here. They have a great variety of choices to choose from on the menu from burgers, sandwiches, halibut, cod, salads, chicken strips, jumbo shrimp basket, fries, onion rings, shakes and combo meals. The food is cheap and very tasty. My favorite is the combo #2 which is the Nipp burger, with sauce, pickles, lettuce, tomato and onions, and fries with a medium drink for $5.29. The burger is very juicy and extremely tasty. It's hard to put down its so good. When you order make sure you ask for extra fry sauce. I don't really know what they put in it but it is absolutely delicious. You can't have the fries without the fry sauce. They have a drive thru and a big parking lot to park if you don't feel like going inside, especially since its not that big of a place. read more

Burgers here are suppose to be absolutely delicious. I found mine to be decently good but nothing amazing. The fries were the same...good but not great. I also purchased a pineapple milkshake. That thing was pretty darn good. I froze most of it and discovered it's even better as a slightly melted frozen treat. Generous chunks of pineapple and not too sweet. Although there's quite the variety of shake flavors to choose from, I can't imagine any of them beating the pineapple one. As far as service goes, it was pretty quick. The drive-though line was enormous so I opted to walk in. The staff were friendly. The food wasn't good enough for me to want to return unless I was with people that wanted to eat here. This is a little old school burger joint, good place to grab a quick bite! My favorite thing is...the veggie burger! It is super tasty and comes with yummy fixings, I have a hard time not just inhaling it because it is so good. If you don't think you will like to eat a veggie burger ever, this would be the one to try, it might turn you! Also, the fish and chips with cod are pretty good as well, we always share a basket of those. Pass on the milkshake though - it is far from a real milkshake, took them about a minute to make, and just tastes like frozen icy drink, yuck. I tried it once earlier this week and ended up just throwing most of it out. Disappointing, was really hoping for a good milkshake. Last but not least, the staff is great - we always have wonderful service and it is very clean inside, too. Friend told me how good nips was. So I decided to try it with my wife. We both got the cod and fries to take home. I should of looked at the food first. Cod was on the verge of burnt and was completely dried out! Must of cooked the fries with the cod since they were also pretty charred! Also, we got some fry sauce that wasn't even mixed up. What a disappointment! I got the combo with a grilled chicken sandwich. The only decent thing was the chicken and that was just okay. The bun was flat and floppy, there was one very small and thin slice of tomato, and a tiny amount of wilted lettuce. The fries were okay, but a smaller amount than they used to provide and not as crisp and tasty. This was my first visit since the pandemic hit and I doubt I'll go back. Comes w/ an amazing burger, the MOST delicious fattening fries ever, and a soda. I had the Nipp burger. It was really good. My wife got the mushroom burger. Hers was good as well. I loved the fry sauce it was chunky like tartar sauce. My wife on the other hand didn't like the fry sauce for that reason. The fries and onion rings were good but did not taste home made. The service wasn't bad but was not good either. The soda was flat, tables were dirty, (and we were the first ones in the door at 10:30 am) restroom is outside. read more

After working in Longview for a few months and hearing about this place all the time I final went in. They have great food and even better prices (cheaper than McDonalds or other fastfood, but way beter tasting). However the secret is out and sometimes you have to wait a few minutes. We moved here in 2017 and I admit we had driven by Nips countless times. Why? it didn't look like some place my wife and would enjoy due to the lack of healthy menu choices. One day we decided to give Nips a try wanting something different. I chose a 1/4# cheese burger, no fries and a vanilla shake. I hadn't had a shake in over 10-years. My wife went with the halibut sandwich, onion rings & a cup of water. We were hungry but this didn't influence our review at all. Nips earned our respect as a clean, popular, organized, reasonably priced,, fast food option we plan to visit again and again. My cheese burger was, no lie, one of the best I've ever had. The 1/4# patty was not the typical shrunken meat that gets lost in the bun, rather it was a full sized tasty patty enhanced by the included fixings (special sauce, lettuce, onions, tomato, etc). I have often craved another several occasions since having my initial experience. The vanilla shake was nothing out of the ordinary, however, refreshing none-the-less. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her halibut sandwich and onion rings. I know not being a fast food fan she was quite satisfied because she has recommended Nips several times since our initial visit. Dear Nipps, I miss waiting forever in the drive through line with my mouth watering. Great, cheap, greasy burger. Nipps is always packed and there's never enough seating, but it's damn delicious. The best burger I've had in Longview. So much better than fast food for a little more cash. The fries are killer. Nipps burgers are greasy, but the good kind of greasy. If you're not used to a fast food diet, this place can give you a stomach ache and/or put you in a food coma. You will die an early death if you eat here enough, but at least you'll be satisfied. One bad thing: my coworker always gets the veggie burger, which is nothing special, and strangely costs $1.25 more than a meat burger. Maybe Nipps is attempting to make an anti-vegetarian statement with their pricing. read more
