She did an amazing massage and cleaned my nails better than anyone has before. She also messaged my hands really well. I asked for a flower on one finger and idk how this even looks like a flower. Like clearly that's messed up considering I paid $45?!?!? I'd like to call them on Tuesday morning to get my nails redone (at least that one finger). This just seems like something I could have painted at home with my gel kit. Idk why I spent money for this. Some of my nails look matte while some look glossy. I am so damn disappointed. Should have said something at the salon but I was rushing to a dinner reservation today so ran out.

Basic manicure. This is done just as I like it - short, rounded nails with little to no cuticle cut and a nude polish.

I have been going to Nirvana for years! It's in the Loehmans plaza and I've seen businesses come and go but this spa is still there. That has to mean something. I took a star off because sometimes it's hard to get an appointment and you can't just walk in and expect to be seated. Atmosphere: The owner, Mimi, has tastefully decorated the spa and it is an oasis in CNJ! You actually feel very relaxed inside and they don't have any TVs or music blaring, just easy to listen spa music and a water fountain for some background sound. All the ladies that work here are very sweet and speak softly and kindly. And they always ask about how you are doing which is just great customer service. Attention to detail: this is its own category because Mimi has provided so much detail here - from complementary beverages, snacks, to the purse holder while you get a manicure it's a very thoughtful spa. Services: I've actually only gotten manis and pedis here (including the spa pedi) but there are many many offerings. During the summer months I find the spa pedicure to be super relaxing and while it is expensive the whole experience is what you pay for - the quiet / the scents/ the hydration. It is a bit pricey for me so I only get this on occasion. The manicures are also a few dollars more expensive but they do a good job. I only get regular manucures but they leave me feeling neat tidy and pretty. I've also gotten the mini manicure when I was in a rush and was able to get my nails done for an event in under 30 minutes. Parking: there's tons of parking. No issues with parking. Pricing: compared to other spas in the area the pricing is fair. However for a basic mani and pedi it's still higher than other nail salons. That being said you do get more relaxation than other spas and I enjoy the ambiance more. Customer service: they recently switched to a new system so you can even book manicures online. That's a plus for when you are in a rush.

So disappointed with the service. I received a spa finder gift card and thought I'd treat myself to a nice manicure. Place is beautiful. A very relaxing atmosphere. They offer water or tea. They even offer a warm neck roll. I asked for a gel manicure. My nails were uneven, polish was not smooth. So not worth the money they charge. Place is over priced.

Look at the paint job. SNS is supposed to be powder color. Renata duped me.

Nirvana reached out to me about my previous 1 star review. I really liked that they cared about my experience and I decided to give them another opportunity. I did my nails with Tahira and she completely changed my mind about Nirvana. I tried the SNS nails again. She gave me a manicure, the paint job was well done and she was extremely pleasant. I will return to see her and I am curious about trying a pedicure. Thanks for caring Nirvana nails. Excellent customer service and I'm glad I gave it another try!

The decor and atmosphere remind me of California style spa/salon. Very nice staff, friendly greeting and service. I had a pedicure followed by reflexology. The prices are slightly higher then some competitors in the area. The pedicure was fast (only 20 min), very short leg massage. Reflexology lasted another 20 min for a total of 40 min. I have had worse and I have had better, so I can only rate Nirvana 3 stars.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this spa! The owner, Mimi, does the absolute BEST eyelash extensions. I've tried several other places in NYC and she tops them all. I won't go anywhere else! Don't be deceived by the sparse outlet mall that Nirvana is in. Once you walk in it's a true oasis. Everything is beautiful, with crystals, sparkly jewelry, the cute hats you see in my pic, lol, soothing smells, etc. It's always impeccably clean. Everyone gets spoiled with a fruity water and scented, hot neck wrap. Every single employee is sweet and helpful. And, you can easily book online. When getting extensions you get to be in a private room with soothing music and a warm blanket. The lash sealer helps them last so much longer. Eyebrow waxing is painless and you get treated with a cool stone massage on the area afterward which feels amazing. They really go above and beyond here. All the little details and finishing touches make this place worth coming to again and again!

They were able to fit me in for a gel manicure. Lovely staff, they start your service with spa water and finish it with a gentle hand massage.

Great manicure but $50 for mani pedi too expensive for no reason.

Went in just a while ago, for a regular manicure pedicure. From the moment I walked it was a vision. Great decor, staff was very friendly. Christie directed me to the nail polish center and I picked out a color. They offered me complimentary drinks( I declined) and a neck wrap(which I accepted). The other lady that did my manicure was very professional, did a great job. Great small talk! The reason why I give it 3 stars is because $50 for a regular manicure and pedicure is ridiculous. I payed it. And sorry that I won't be in again because honestly I could have went somewhere else got the same pleasant experience for $25-$30. Over all great job ladies!

After my experience with Zuzanna, I totally understand why this was a great choice. Making the appointment seemed a little labored.. I guess because of the hours, there is one girl manning the phones... and also, Zuzanna is pretty booked, but I'm glad one was accommodated. Parking lot is shared and a little tiny, but I believe there is on the street parking (on the side). Aesthetically pleasing and very clean inside..The only issue that I had and almost made me walk out was my beginning experience.. not really warm and fuzzy when I entered in for the first time. I was told that I really needed to make my appt right at 5:45, so I was shocked when I hadn't gotten seen until at least 30 mins later with no check in from the front... just when I was about to leave (had limited time to begin with), Zuzanna called me in.... from there my experience was on the up and up. Very professional, warm with just enough conversation, yet intensely thorough and in control of the process. It seemed as though I was in and out and she did a fabulous job! I am so happy that I found this place and may try them out for other skincare related options.

Everything is tailored to your needs and you and the doctor discuss the right amount of treatments for the best results. I have been going back here several times already and each time I was treated wonderfully. After the first treatment I already saw results but by the third you clearly see so much improvement that you wonder why you didn't go here earlier. The pain from the procedure is minimal(I did my neck) and the aftercare steps are very clear. The place is of course licensed and won awards before which you can see for yourself when you go in. Very clean place. Dr. Ram and the staff are so caring and welcoming, that I will always go to them for other procedures which they provide a wide range of. Go check them out Update: It has been a couple more months now and my neck still has no hair in the spots treated. Well worth the money in my opinion, the hassle of shaving it every morning was tedious and very hurtful with the razors, it pays for itself in the long run. I am certainly going back a few more times though to continue the rest of my treatment, just been on vacation so wasn't able to get my last one in time. The crew is very helpful with working with your schedule and fitting you in on certain days which I am very thankful for. Many deals and payment options for the laser hair removal as well, and if it is your first time, certainly try it out, it is cheaper and very effective. You can stop whenever but you won't after you see the results so quickly. Be a better version of yourself and keep in mind that they offer more than just laser hair removal.

They deleted my Google review... so here it is again:…read more I had a very negative experience at this laser hair removal med spa and ultimately decided to stop going. During one of my sessions, I was severely burned in a specific area, which was very painful. The injury made me lose trust in the amount of safety I had during treatments. I am unsure still why it occurred because I was told that the puss open wound, was due to a hair that was ingrown and became infected... which I quickly learned was not what was going on. In addition, I felt uncomfortable with the staffing of technicians situation. While many other females worked there, there was only one laser technician available, and he was male. He performs Brazilian laser hair removal on female clients, but when I checked the website after a few treatments and curiosity, did not offer the same service to male clients, which in hindsight sight felt unprofessional and inappropriate to me being that if a female wants a Brazilian, she has no choice but to have a male technician. An hour before my appointments, I applied numbing cream on my bikini line and my entire Brazilian area with plastic wrap over the areas. At the beginning of my appointment, he wiped my numbing cream off from my Brazilian area very invasively without even asking if I was okay with that or giving me the option if I could wipe it myself before the lasering. The reason could be so he removes all of the product off completely before lasering, but with ONLY a male tech available and as a female patient who is basically blindfolded being touched in that vulnerable way, I should have 100% been given more options for my comfort. I was asked to remove my bra while wearing a medical gown that opens in the front. The laser treatment was only for my underarms, and the area was fully accessible through the sides/sleeves of the gown. There was no medical reason for me to remove my bra. As a result, my chest was exposed, which made me feel very uncomfortable and vulnerable. This situation felt completely unnecessary, and it could have been easily avoided. Between the physical injury and the discomfort surrounding the treatment environment, I chose not to return again. I would strongly encourage others considering this spa to think about your comfortability levels when getting vulnerable areas lasered by a male technician, to ask detailed questions about safety protocols, and how client comfort is prioritized before making an appointment.

Upon arrival at 9:30 a.m., two staff members escorted us to begin the massage services. Shortly after the massage began, the therapists offered several "enhancements," including lavender oil, lemon oil, and hot stones, priced at $30, "discounted" to $20. In my experience, massage oil has always been included as part of the service, so I found it unusual and disruptive to be upsold during a relaxation treatment. During the facial portion, the esthetician asked when I last received a facial. After I responded, she immediately recommended a "derma facial" due to dryness, priced at $100, discounted to $50. She then pointed out dark spots and suggested laser treatment at $20 per spot, which I declined. The continuous upselling made the experience feel more like a sales pitch than a spa visit. At checkout, I was surprised to learn that I owed an additional $96, on top of the $180 already paid. I was also not informed that a third staff member would be performing part of the facial service. When it came time to tip, I provided $20 each for the 3 therapists ($60 total). I was then told that the staff member who worked on my daughter should receive an additional tip, so I added $15 more. While I do not mind paying for services, I strongly believe that all pricing, add‑ons, and staffing details should be clearly explained before the service begins. Transparency is essential, especially in a spa environment where clients expect relaxation rather than unexpected charges or persistent upselling.

I'm glad I didn't buy it, as it came out to be about the same price. I didn't have any trouble reaching them to make this appointment, and they called me to confirm beforehand as well. I was offered tea while filling out my paperwork, and it came in a french press with a dried date on the side. The whole process was a lot more relaxing than I had anticipated. I've gotten microneedling before, at both dermatology offices as well as at medi spas. This is a regular spa but they were meticulous with sanitation--I could hear her opening new items and changing her gloves every time she had to touch something, like when answering the phone. She started by cleaning my face, and then applying a mild chemical peel and extracted a bunch of stuff from my pores with a scraping tool. I had never had this done before a microneedling--it was like a mini facial. I even got a neck massage while the chemical peel was setting in. After this she applied a numbing cream in order to prep my face for the microneedling. This was the only issue I had, which was kind of a big one. She didn't leave it on for very long, not even ten minutes from what I could estimate. Maybe the cream wasn't very strong. But because of that, this was the most uncomfortable microneedling I've ever had. So I would suggest in the future to either leave the cream on longer, or use something a bit stronger. After the process was done, a gel mask was applied, which calmed the redness temporarily. I was given instructions for care at home as well as an ampoule and a thicker gel to aid in the healing process. The experience was much more than I had expected, and I definitely think it was worth the money.
