Fried garlic crunch. Instant noodles. More pickles and shrimp cake in the fridge. These are not things you'll find in the nearby major Asian supermarket. And if you find yourself with too much fermented tea leaf at once, well, I have sesame dressing at home, and my go to is noodles dressed with the sesame dressing for a good base flavor, with the laphet added for a twang in the flavor, and cilantro added for freshness. Because they sell laphet by the bag on the shelf, and that's a lot, but they also sell them in packet bundles on the stand near the door, and the packets are super powerful, at least when you're cooking for just a bachelor.

I also got some enormous thick loin lamb chops and some veal stew to make my mother's fabulous veal saute (on the stove as we speak) recipe. They had real almond macaroons and an amazing assortment of Ukrainian, Russian, and Armenian delicacies and staples.
