I find myself inventing things I "need" in the market just so I can treat myself to lunch in the fabulous restaurant next door. Hands down the best beef or chicken shawarma I've had in Sacramento. The Falafel patties are made to order and delicious, with a light but flavorful tahini sauce. The food is served on bread so fresh you literally see the hard-working guy pulling it out of the fire pit just before serving it. And the side dishes are awesome and fresh. Everything you would expect in a Mediterranean type restaurant including great hummus, stuffed grape leaves and tabbouleh. The place is spotless, the service is fast, and the decor is very appealing. So much fun to see the bread being baked and the food being assembled. I would eat there every day!

Good portion, garlic sauce, lettuce, pickles, and great hot sauce if you'd like! My favorite are actually his Falafals - quite literally the best, crunchiest Falafal I've ever had. Two days later when I opened the container I found insects crawling in it. While that's disgusting, that's not what this review is about though, things like this happen from time to time. This review is actually about how the store chose to handle (or in my case avoid handling the situation and avoid any responsibility or attempt at customer service). For a situation this basic this basic, you would imagine it would be as simple as me bringing back the flour, the store replacing the bag, taking the brand off the shelves and dealing with their supplier. Instead after 4 phone calls back and forth with the store employees over a period of two days trying to wriggle out of the situation e.g. insisting I had to bring back the original bag/packaging (I had thrown away the paper bag after pouring the flour in my container) telling me that the owners would call me (Its been a week).I have decided to cut my losses and not waste any more time with them or this business over a $20 bag of flour. Especially since there are 4 other Indian grocery stores just in Folsom, so after years of patronizing Shreyus it's time for a change. I felt I should write this review as a Pubic Service Announcement: If you bought Sher Atta from this store in the last week, please be careful and inspect your flour, chances are there maybe an issue with the whole batch. Shreyus will obviously not take any responsibility, so watch out for your family's health. I will also report this to the county health department on Monday but I am not sure what they can do in this instance.
