We had a fun time. They broke us into smaller tour groups for our actual Atv time. Overall for $250 for 2 people for 1-hour it was way overpriced. We spent 15 mins of our ride time learning how to operate and do basic things like go between cones and break. Important, yes, but that should be in addition to the 1-hour ride time. We stopped with 10-min left to take pics which was nice, but again, it cut into actual ride time. The course itself was fun, but it was limited and repetitive. There was no opportunity to really open up the atv's and go fast. For $75 pp, it would be worth it. But at the current prices, the info session and practice should be included, maybe 90 mins per session at current pricing to make it worthwhile. Super dusty (October 19th ride). It may be more fun when it's not so warm so the ground is more solid and muddy. Plan to be completely covered in dirt. The staff were very friendly, which was great, but it wasn't worth the cost imo. read more

Had soo much fun. Great trails & even better if you're not in a large group so you can go a little faster. Kinda tricky to find the check in spot however just call when you arrive and they can help direct you. read more

It was our first time riding ATVs which was exciting. Before riding we were given good instructions on how to ride and completed a safety test drive. After that we were taken on a "tour" into the woods with different paths to ride. There were some hills and turns to make it more interesting to handle the ATVs. The tour could have been more interactive (props, trivia). I don't recall being introduced/informed of the tour guides names either. Overall, it was a nice family summer activity. read more

If you've never rode a Four Wheeler before- i think this is your sign to go, only if you into stuff like this. You can go with whoever just bring them along for their first time experience. As for me- i told my friend about this place so she can go with her peeps to have a good time since she always says i know all the spots. Lol i do tho. Sometimes . Well, i also was not expecting her to invite me so when she asked, what ya think I responded?! Lol. Hellll yeah we outtt !!! The day before we was panicking because the weather was saying Severe Thunderstorm and high winds. She calls me like " you think they still on?" I told her i will give them a call in the morning but, that night something told me to check my emails- so i did. Remember when i said we was panicking the night before?! Well if i would've checked my emails to begin with all that worrying would've went out the door. Any who, This place is so legit and i love them because they were on top of it sending me so many emails the night before letting me know that in the morning they will send another email to confirm if it was a go. God is Great All the timee !!! So let me just stop to tell ya something quickly. I wasn't having the best week and was extremely looking forward to this day. So u can only imagine how frustrated i was when i saw thunderstorm and that they were going to cancel it. The next morning comes and i quickly wake up in sadness, until i opened my emails and saw " WE ARE STILL ON " i said no wayyy wait- so i quickly open the weather app and see is suppose to be sunny all morning and half of the afternoon the rain was going to happen but it was going to start after 5. which was awesome because our session was from 3-5 soooo, You know what i was thinking- its party time. Since we had to be there by 3:30 we left around 240ish, ONLY because we was already at the end of the GWB- which means when we get on we dont have to go through traffic because we're literally right there at the end & starting point into making it to Jersey. If you coming from deep I suggest leaving a little bit earlier because they are strict with timing. Only to be fair to the ones who got there early. They suggest you arrive 15 mins before your session, but ill get into that in a second. When we finally get there, WE WERE LOST! You go inside this big empty parking lookin space ( i guess ) i cant really remember and wish i took pictures but being that we were lost my focus was on trying to find the place before our time was up. Finally some nice lady asks us " ARE YA LOOKING FOR THE ATVS?" We said " yeah " she then directed us but as we driving we feel like we about to get kidnapped or some shit aboutta go down because it was nothing but land. We finally get to a ticket booth and we skeptical about passing it we from NY so we dont trust too much i tell my friend like girl pull up so i can ask her ass because we're not going to stand here looking stupid. Thankfully we did though because we had to pass through her to get to the place . Lord just when u think is the finale lmao we get lost again because like i said is only land and now we at a spot where many cars are parked we driving and driving until another lady goes " ARE YA LOOKING FOR THE ATVS " we like " yeah " she then directs us and BOOOOOOM !!!! What ya think happend ? We FINALLY EFFIN FOUND IT ! Finally, we are in motion getting excited because all the ATV are out and we like is about to go down. They asked us our names and then gave us a helmet and a headwrap u can say. She let me keep on my glasses ans gave my friend goggles. I was hype she let me keep my glasses on. Once everyone had their gears ready she told everyone to step to the ATV on the side. She briefly went over how the ATV works and the Dos and Donts. After that we headed on to pick which ATV we wanted which is only trying to pick out which is the cleanest but none of them are lol. The color ones are for the little kids. YES THEY ARE ALL DIRTY SO DONT WEAR YOUR BEST CLOTHES. I RECOMMEND WEARING LONG PANTS AND SHIRT BECAUSE IT WILL OR CAN GET MESSY. LOTS OF DIRT AND MUD PUDDLES. THEY WILL TAKE YOU THROUGH EVERYTHING. I ALSO RECOMMEND BRINGING EXTRA CLOTHES FOR THE AFTERMATH BECAUSE GETTING IN YOUR CAR ALL MUDDY AND DIRTY- well i dont think u would like it very much. To finally end this long essay of review i be doing, i give this place a 10/10. All of their staff and instructors were amazing and had alot of patience for the beginners crew. Trust me patience is the word because my friend almost landed in the hospital twice she damn near hit a tree and almost went down a hill shes good tho and took control of it after all. I would say this if anybody goes, especially females, you control the 4wheeler don't let it control you. You gotta use all your body force to turn or to do little tricks. Its so much fun tho, extremely tiring after all the fun. I hope you guys enjoyed my essay. read more

Went here with my husband for our wedding anniversary. We had an awesome time. Neither of us had ever ridden before and we loved it. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will say you definitely have to pay attention though because trails are much harder to navigate then the practice loop they give you before you start. read more

I had an amazing time! I had a party of 19 and kids that were ride on's and they accommodated us all! Extremely nice and family oriented. This wasn't my first time and will not be my last. I recommend booking well in advance as they book up very fast. The group discount of 6 or more is great. However, if you have a large group and if there is a mix of experienced and inexperienced riders request you have a split tour. I went with a group of 14 and it was hard for us to keep a continuous tour because the guides were doing a great job of keeping us together. Delays in the tour can cause for a waste of time. Overall, the staff were great & I would definitely return some time this year. read more

OMG! This place was all that. I had a blast i would come here every week if u could we got very dirty but it was all worth it. Afterwards there was a very big race on dirt bikes that we watched. That too was dope. Here they have go carts, dirt bikes, atv, they had a track where u can race your real cars and even your race car. I believe i heard the guy say you can fly planes at another part as well. Try this place out sooner than later read more

Came here yesterday and it was the best decision ever made!! Richard and wife are extremely sweet and helpful. The place itself is awesome for ATV's and I had a great time with my partner and will a 100% come back. Absolutely love how they separate people into groups I think that is an awesome idea. So much fun. They do a great job of instructing before getting out to the track, they prep you with new head covers and you can purchase two dollar booties. It is muddy so change of clothes is recommended. Thanks to the instructors and owners that were so kind! 5/5 stars from me. read more

LOVED this place and all the people. Family run business, so knowledgable and so much fun. Close to NYC. Prices very reasonable and the trail is amazing. It's a bargain! Can't wait to go back again. PS Watch out for little 7 year old Travis (who's the real boss... he takes great photos of you and adds in himself....lol...photobomb.) That was the best part of looking at pics later. THANK YOU! Went with a group of 6 guys today as part of a Bachelor Party. The owner Rich and his staff were super friendly and helpful. Leading up to our reservation, I had spoken with Rich over the phone multiple times due to my many questions and concerns. He was always kind and courteous. As for the ATV experience itself, we had a blast. The tour lasted 1hr and 15 minutes. Rich showed us how to operate the ATV and we were free to run laps on the ATV track. Afterwards, when we had enough fun on the track, we were led into the wooded trail which was great. We even had enough time to do another couple laps on the track. It was our first time riding ATVs and the staff made our experience worthwhile. Will definitely go again at some point! read more

What a day! Had a great time getting muddy on the ATVs! Rich, the owner, was incredibly hospitable and ensured that me and my friends were comfortable the entire time. I would recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, because there will be dirt. Definitely try this at least once, you won't regret it. read more

I highly recommend it!! With your price of $99, you get your own head sock (yours to keep), and their helmet, and (looks like laboratory) goggles. Please bring extra clothes (including gloves) as the woods can get muddy. You get a quick lecture lesson on the functional parts of the ATV, then hop on any of their ATV's for a practice run on their track for turns, acceleration, and quick stop. This was only 10 minutes. Then off to the woods with your own guide. There were 4 in a group with a young male tour guide. You probably go around 15 mph. I do ride motorcycles and this was enough speed. It was exhilarating as the woods were created with dips, hills, in between trees, go over branches, curves, and muddy trails. We then took a quick break for pictures and off we rode again. We went the day after it rain so we had a lot of fun and even got stuck a few times in the muddy areas as our tour guide helped us out. He was very friendly and knew we wanted to go fast as we kept up with his ride. I didn't watch my time but it felt like an hour of ride. At the end just make sure to turn your muddy clothes in side out in your car. I wore my spring ski jacket, and pants plus kayak shoes where I knew it wouldn't be wet in and easy to wash. I will be back with a bigger group. read more

This is as good as it gets. Give that guide a raise. We all had a ball and just booked for October. Hope to make this a once a month event with the fellas. This place was great... I was a first timer. Scared to death, fearing that I was going to fall off the bike, but staff was on point. They made sure I was comfortable enough to trust the ATV... Came here for my 31st birthday with 9 of my friends to celebrate. This was our second time coming but by far the least exciting experience. It started out great but once our instructor took us into the woods he begin texting and just cruising through the course as if we were just another transaction. We asked several times to pick up the pace or to at least go back to the open course. However, the instructor insisted we stay and we would eventually do better. Doing better never happened after a few laps in the woods our time was up and our two hour drive felt in vain. This place is affordable and fun but just confirm you get the instructor who likes to have fun especially when your spending your hard owned money. Otherwise this place is Great! read more

first time riding an ATV and we had a great time. I suppose the experience was even better because there was only 2 of us in our group. The 2 people providing instruction for us (as well as providing us with gloves, helmet, etc) were attentive and patient. They showed us how to start the ATVs, operate them and how to prevent from rolling the ATVs. After going around the closed in course a couple of times the instructors let us run around the course ourselves for a few minutes. After 20 minutes they took us on the course through the woods, which was challenging at times. The lead instructor didn't speed off and looked back at a us throughout the tour through the woods to ensure we were okay and keeping up. He even stopped to take our picture because it was our anniversary. We would love to return someday soon, possibly with the kids. read more

Great way to celebrate my birthday this past Saturday with my husband and daughters, and all of us can't wait to do it again! Rich and Stacy were helpful, friendly and fun from start to finish. After we checked in and got fitted with helmets and goggles, we got a lesson on how the machines work and then got to practice driving before we headed into the wooded trails. Since we haven't been ATVing in quite a few years, we appreciated this time so we would be comfortable with what we would be doing for the next hour. After about 10 minutes of practicing and having all of our questions answered, we were ready for our tour to begin. Since it had been raining prior to our arrival and we knew we were going to get dirty, we came prepared wearing old clothes and sneakers that we didn't care if they didn't come clean afterwards. What a great time we had following Rich through the trails filled with twists and turns, fun hills and muddy puddles! Stacy followed behind so we could all be assured if we needed anything for any reason, help was right there. We stopped a couple of times for picture taking and a chance to just smile and soak in this incredible experience. My favorite part of the ride was when we were on a straight trail and we could go a little faster. My family and I definitely made an amazing memory together we won't soon forget. Can't say enough good things about this ATV tour and highly recommend. Thank you, Rich and Stacy, for helping to make the start of my birthday celebration so awesome. We'll be back! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Richard S.

NJ ATV Rentals owner is one of the most accredited riding coaches in the area: (Photo shown is with student Vin Diesel.) Rich's bio includes: Motocross Instruction since 1993. Began racing Professionally in 1994 Started Motovation in 1997 Received a BA in Sociology and K-8 Teacher Certificate in 2000 Taught 6th grade from 2003-2004 Managed the Raceway Park Motocross Track (Englishtown, NJ) from 2005 to 2013 Became certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, Dirt Bike School, ATV Safety Institute, and Recreational Off Highway Vehicle Association Work as "Motocross Profession" to the NJ State Police Current Race Director of the brand new state of the art $3.5m facility, NJMP Field of Dreams in Millville, NJ (Since 2014)

They give you a briefing before your trip. I felt like it was totally reasonable rules, I drove myself at one point and really didn't find myself wanting to do what they advise against. You can save time by booking online, you need to arrive early for a waiver sign off and possible helmet fittings. I booked a two-seater UTV for my SO's birthday and we had a blast. The cars are new and have better tech functions, especially with being able to connect to your own music via Bluetooth to have even more fun. We had a tour guide for our small group and off we went, racing through a course and flying through water. We were absolutely filthy by the end, so be prepared. We came with our own gloves, which helped make the driving experience more comfortable. I would highly suggest getting some sort of face covering so you do not end up with a mouthful of mud. They do not have bathrooms on site, but a hose station to do some maintenance and portable toilets. We're looking forward to trying out a snowmobile option in the months ahead.

Can't complain about that! There's plenty of street parking right in front of the boardwalk as well as residential parking nearby. Since I visited after the summer season ended, I had no problem finding a spot at 12pm. If you're going during the season, I would suggest coming much earlier if you want to get a good spot closer to the beach. During the summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), beach badges are required from 9am-5pm on weekdays and 9am-5:30pm on weekends/holidays. It's $13 per person. Children ages 11 and under + active military and their dependents are free of charge. They don't accept credit/debit cards, so remember to bring CASH. The beach is beautiful - clear, blue water and clean, soft sand. The crowd is more mature and family-oriented. They do have a lot of rules (no alcohol/smoking/cannabis/canopies/tents/sound systems), but I don't mind. It's not rowdy here, so you'll have a peaceful experience. There are bathrooms, a playground area for children, and a boardwalk. The boardwalk is small, but charming. There are benches for you to sit, relax, and enjoy the ocean view. There aren't many restaurants, bars, games, or entertainment around. They have a snack/food pavilion, but I'd suggest driving a few miles away to Asbury Park or Long Branch for a better dining and night life scene. Seeeeee yaaaaaaaa at the shore!
