These weasels deleted my review on Google because it made them look bad. Perhaps treat your customers fairly and have a uniform approach to customer service and you wouldn't have to offer to pay me to take down the review, which I refused. To recap, I brought in my brand new BMW for them to tint and install a dash camera on. They did a good job on the tints. However, after installing the dash camera, parking mode didn't work. They informed me that perhaps the wiring or the hardware was the cause. I ordered brand new wiring and purchased a brand new camera also. It was a high end Thinkware dash cam. We tried the wiring first on the old camera and parking mode didn't work. Then I brought in the new camera and they charged me an additional 50% of the price (150+75) to install the new dash camera which annoyed me, but as long as parking mode worked i didnt care. Still didn't work. They did not even diagnose the problem properly, making me demonstrate it for them in their own garage, to which the owner gave me dirty looks for doing so.​ At no point during any exchange did i express any hostility or frustration about this. They told me that it was my brand new cars fault, and wanted nothing else to do with the problem. After a quick search on Google I found that the issue was that the dash camera had to be connected via OBD. A solution that took me less than 5 minutes to find and given their level of "expertise" and the amount I paid for it, its reasonable to expect they would know that or at least find out for themselves. I ended up installing the obd wiring myself. I left a review on Google about this, and they responded "arent responsible" for knowing "every manufacturer of dash camera" when it was simply laziness and complete oversight on their part. (But theyll take payment for unfinished work). They even responded that if I had bought one of their cameras from their store (A grand selection of 3 cameras, all profit margin makers and not close to the reputation of Thinkware or their quality at all) that they would have helped me. I think that makes their service look even worse. At the end of the back and forth in that Google review, the owner then offered me back $75, but I would have to call and likely take down the review, which I refused. I paid $225 to get rid of them and learn how to install a dashcam myself after bringing an S4, etron suv, lexus gx, and my i4 m50 to them in the past 7 years. This business has a poor sense of ethics and won't get a dollar more from me. read more

First car was a charm. (2023 Camry) Second car was a total nightmare! (2025 Camry) 2023, brought my new Camry for ceramic LLumar tints for all windows except front windshield. Limo black in back and lighter tint on front driver and passenger windows. Cost $550.00 and the job was EXCELLENT! September 2024, I bought a new 2025 Camry and wanted the same tints, so I called and made an appointment. I get there and say I want the same exact thing as you did to my 2023 Camry. To be sure, I ask them to pull up my last job order. Was told, "Our computer system doesn't keep records." That's when I should have left the building! But since they did a good job on my other car, I went forward. They do the job, I pay the $550. and drive home. But something doesn't seem right...the tints are not the same as last time - too light! Next morning, I drive over to let them know. The owner was there and couldn't give two shits about my concern. I told him, I half blame him and his company policy of not keeping accurate records. He shrugged his shoulders and walked away. The Mgr (Marcos -Nice guy!) told me they could take all tints off, and reply darker ones...for $600. Or, they could add another layer over the light ones to darken them...for $300. So, that's what I chose. That was late September and as I write this review, it's a day before Thanksgiving and I'm going out of my mind because the two front ones are also as dark as the others! So, I'm $900.00 deep and can't stand these windows!!! Worse, I know I need to take them out and get the proper tint. Am I going back to NJ Boom Boom to have them do it right? HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna make some calls to find another place that can fix this mess. I know mistakes happen and anyone can make them, but the infuriating part is; 1) It could have been totally avoided if they ran the business like an actual business! 2) The owner has an F YOU!, attitude. 3) Didn't even to bother offering to "make it better". I had all my windows tinted here (minus the front windshield and sunroofs) of my 2015 Mini Cooper 2-door hardtop and they did an amazing job! I paid a little extra for the better quality tint that includes a lifetime warranty against fading, cracking, peeling, etc and it came out to about 260$. My car's front windows is the BMW-style frameless, so I was concerned about the windows rolling up slightly when the door is closed - which is automatic to create a seal. I brought this up to the installer at NJ Boom Boom who said "oh no worries man we do these all the time, we don't even have to take your door panels off that's for amateurs". I was looking around for a place to tint my car. There are many in the area, but decided to use NJ Boom Boom because of three main things. 1) They are an authorized installer for Llumar which means warranty should be no issue. 2) They use Llumar Formula 1, which is what I was looking for given it's high quality. 3) Price was reasonable, compared to 3m which unfortunately came be almost 1.5-2x the price vs Llumar. I ended getting the Formula One Pinnacle which is a ceramic tint at 35%. It is a big step in heat rejection and am more comfortable in long sunny drives. The install took about 3 hours to do all windows except the windshield. Took about 3 days for the residual haziness to disappear which is normal. I highly recommend them, and look forward to bringing my cars here in the future. read more

When it comes to accessorizing your car, this is the place to go! The prices are very reasonable too, and they offer a warranty on all their work. The owner of the shop does alot of the work himself, which comes to show how much they value the work done to your car. I've searched extensively for a place that is reputable and specializes in window tints and other accessories. I had a friend get his 2012 Mercedez-Benz C300 tinted here and loved the detail of the work done. You could tell that it wasn't rushed by the smooth razor blade cut on the top of the window when you roll it down. I took in my 2015 Honda Civic and knew I wanted the same tint shade all around and that I wanted Llumar tints. I couldn't decide whether to get 35% or 20% all around. He told me he only had 15% in the shade that I wanted and took me outside to show me how it looked on another vehicle. The gentleman there didn't try to sell me something that I didn't want. He told me everything straight up. He even demonstrated the difference between the one I got and the one above it with the ceramic coating and heat absorption. Overall, love the quality. It's been about 10 months at the time of this review and the tint is holding up strong. I did ding my driver's side tint with my seatbelt a couple times, but that's my fault entirely. They offer good prices but, most importantly, they take great pride in their work and it shows. They installed an aftermarket radio system in my car but did not hook up the radio volume/channel changer controls to the controls on my steering wheel. I believe they had one of their ex landscaper looking "fools with a tool" do my repair instead of doing it or even supervising it themselves. you'll get a strange vibe as when they take on your project they will photo graph and video tape your car as i believe they have at least been accused of and/or have done something wrong that prior customers have called them out on. everytime i have to reach for the controls on my radio instead of flicking a control on my steering wheel i think to myself i should have gone with someone else. read more

Poor service...I had installed Black Box for Audi and they charge $150 for 2 channels, however, they incorrectly connected wiring so my engine signed showed up! I made a complain about it and they simply told me to go to Audi deal because my Audi has warranty. Therefore, I went to Audi and found out black box was wired to wrong fuse box and I received $159 service charge!!! because it won't cover under warranty... I went back to Boom Boom to make complaint and what they told me is they do not have any responsible for these kind of issue....no credit or refund!!! Please do NOT go to Boom Boom for any installation!!! they are irresponsible store ever!!! If you like to install the black box please go to your auto dealer most of deal charge you between $150~200 for black box installation! read more
