Aside from that, Debbie has been a joy to go to for balancing chemicals and all other pool needs. The sand in my filter needed to be replaced this season, and she did not try to force having them do it. Instead she was happy with my doing it and filter sand was much cheaper there than the alternatives. As long as I am in the area I will always be going to Calabreeze. I can't recommend them enough.

I'm out $20K now which I don't have and won't have. The pool looks like it has a disease, it's unsightly and dangerous. Cut my finger open on the sharp pebbles last season. The other job was a deck refresh from wood to composite. He showed up to do the job not knowing how. He apologized, said he didn't want to disappoint me, and called his father, a retired contractor over to help. His father spent weeks on what should have been a few day project. Turns out, he'd never did this particular type of job either. I never asked this contractor for references because he'd been my trusted pool guy for a while. I highly recommend asking for referrals whether or not you have a relationship with that individual. You may well be the next guinea pig. Fake it til you make it is what they call this maneuver.
